Good interview. It adds clarity and grounds the discussion, but is anyone in MAGA listening? Trump and his sicophants just want to hear 'smack' talk, because that requires no thought. The stupidity is already starting, and it's only been 24 hours since he eas elected.

This woman isnt wrong to want her family to gain legal status. I dont think voting for Trump would make that better. He won in 2016 and never did anything about it. \n\nPeople are allowed to disagree with her. But she has her reasons. If you want her and others like her. Be patient. Speak with them, hear their concerns and express your own understanding of how those concerns can be addressed in the democratic party. \n\nTrump doesnt have a chance in spite of the political climate, he has a chance exactly because of it. If this was 2000 and Trump was trying to run, he wouldnt even have been considered by the members of the Republican party.

What this lady doesn't understand is that it doesn't matter if she has her green card because people like her will also be deported because it's not going to be only Trump it's gonna be the Heritage Foundation in charge of going after them and they aren't going to care if you are Mexican and have a green card they just don't want you here period! This lady reminds me of the other Mexican lady in 2016 who was a big time Trump supporter and she had a green card and Trump's people had it revolt and deported her in front of her kids who were born here and she was telling them that she was a Trump supporter and worked in Trump's campaign and they didn't wanna hear it she was deported anyway! All I have to say to that lady is karma is a bitch and God doesn't like ugly!

As a white Canadian who loves living in Canada because of how MY friends respect and invite all people of all colours in our lives - it breaks my heart to hear this.\nHER WARNING IS NO SURPRISE... Not Canadian but... back in the 80s and 90s America seemed like the coolest place ever, cosmopolitan and progressive in a way the UK wasn't. Then I grew up. The Internet got invented. I got to talk to Americans, hear US news and politics that never made it to the UK. Then Trump and Qanon happened. Now there is no way in hell I'd want to live there. Bankruptcy inducing healthcare, religious fanatics everywhere and the risk of getting shot on the daily? No thanks.

There is supposedly an agreement between Canada and the US called the Safe Third Country Agreement which means illegal immigrants are supposed to apply for asylum in the first country they come to. Unfortunately, because of Trump, the Canadian government doesn't trust any US government to give these asylum seekers a fair hearing. Second, this agreement only applies to official border crossings, not unofficial ones like Roxham Road. Trudeau is absolutely right in wanting to renegotiate the Safe Third Country Agreement.

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. We are very much alike with a few beautiful differences that distinguishes from one another. It doesn't appear that you upload videos hear anymore but I hope you get the opportunity to read this. But you won't hear these truths in any newspaper. They are all liberal rags that print what the left wants you to hear. Justin Trudeau tells the American press that Donald Trump is against illegal immigration and that he and Canada are welcoming to those in need. Now we hear the truth. He has slapped tariffs on America acting like he does so to pay back Trumps new tariffs, not mentioning that Canada has been unfairly selecting the US to bare unfair trade with Canada.

Ironically he's been in the USA and Canada and hasn't learned English? \nSeems like if you truly wanted to assimilate you would leaned the English language? \nIts shameful how the Prime minister of Canada shamed Trump on immigration on international TV,\nBut now that it's a problem and Canada is doing the same things the USA has done, your sure dont hear all the snowflakes liberals yelling and threatening Canada or its politicians.

The best and smartest thing any immigrant can do is to learn to speak and write English even though that's not politically correct to say. He would have been better off in the United States flying under the radar. Although with Trump as President INS will throw you out in a heartbeat. Also Obama deported quite a bit of Latin people from this country. Obama was enforcing the laws a lot of people don't want to hear that but that's true. Somebody gave this guy some bad information. Canada has the population of 30 million people. It's easier to keep track of 30 million than 350 million which is the approximate population of the United States. Also to my Republican friends Ronald Reagan naturalized and gave amnesty to 10 million Latin immigrants to this country in one swipe of his pen back in I think 1986.
