Restaurant sure. They will be the first class citizens and we will be the second class citizens and have to fight for everything. We have to get out and vote. There have been Indians here my whole life. They were very respectable, hard working and educated. They integrated well into Canadian society and contributed. The past 10 years or so we have been flooded with Indians and Middle Easterners who refuse to integrate and have a taking mentality. It’s making Canadians very angry and resentful. Canadians of all backgrounds. Why are we disproportionally allowing people in from Western Asia? We need a balance of people from everywhere. We also need to get a lot pickier about who we allow in. It’s infuriating having so many foreign students. I blame the government for all of this. Meanwhile what we really mean by multiculturalism is be Canadian FIRST and on special occasions or in the privacy of your own home celebrate your ancestry. Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. And no Vancouver is not nicer than Chicago.\n\n I think the mindset here in Canada especially Ontario is not the best. Everyone is all about going to work and just isolating. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. I think this practising Muslim couple is doing the right thing because if you are a Muslim who believe in Islamic way of life, then you should move to a country who is a majority Muslim country. Western liberal countries are liberal western democracies whose values directly in contrast to Islamic conservative values. So I think this couple should move to an Islamic country and encourage other practicing Muslims to do the same. If you are in Rome, act like the Romans. So if you are in the western liberal democracies, you should love their values and embrace them, instead of trying to push your values there. They are doing the right thing and other Muslims should also do the same.
