Did they MAGA? No, so let's move forward from this, America! We ALL need to agree to be American 1st. Our safety is at serious risk, but we can still get the train back on track, if Congress can ALL agree to put America before any other internal disagreement. If The SCOTUS and the Judicial System will do the same. It isn't too late, YET. It's time to right the ship and our allies will support us, if our people will stand up, against the harm that this Administration is doing to ALL of us, as a whole. It's leaking hate into every aspect of our country. We're inundated with it and it's spilling out, into the world, affecting our standing.\n\nWe need an Administration where we can have normal disagreements and figure how to resolve them....find HOPE again. Trump on day ONE gave tax breaks to the richest (includes him!), he sold your federal government to Elon so he can issue contracts to himself, he has insulted, alienated and threatened allies (ex-allies now) and he made it known that he stands with dictators like Kim Jong and Putin. Yet millions of you would probably vote for him again. Not sure if USA can redeem itself.

What would it be like if Trump spoke coherently, had common sense, and stood up for our allies and condemned our enemies? I stand with Canada and Mexico. I stand with Ukraine. I stand with those less fortunate who need food and healthcare. I am from the U.S.

Well said. I will never understand how Trump and the entire Republican Party turned against our country and our allies, and aligned themselves with a murderous Russian dictator. I don’t know how anyone could grow up in the United States of America and so completely turn their backs on the Constitution, and the laws and values we stand for. I am confused. I am scared. I am angry. But mostly, I am ashamed to be living in Trump’s America.

I think these tariffs/only America and America first policies will be the downfall of Trumps administration and the US economy/influence around the world. We are only driving allies away while bringing inflation/pain to our people. If DOGE isn’t enough to save our debt crisis, this is the start of the end of the US's #1 standing in the world.

Trump's goal is to start an actual war with anyone who'll have it, including our closest neighbors and allies. The reason is that wartime presidents have more power and he doesn't care who stands in his way. He's going to use that power to detain journalists and jail political opponents ahead of the midterms claiming them to be traitors, then he's going to set himself up to run for a third term. If he succeeds, he'll have total control. Democratic leaders will be in jail, journalists will be silenced, and the national guard will forcefully search your home for any second amendments you might have lying around as they deliver our ballots at gunpoint. How do I know? Because that's what tyrants do. The US is in the midst of a political coupe and it's imperative that the situation be viewed from that paradigm. Drop any pretense that this administration is anyone's ally, they're not. They're a rogue administration attempting to seize total control of the US.

It takes a lot to piss off a country like Canada, which is saying something. I don't fault the Canadian and Mexican governments for standing up for their people. It's just a damn shame that regular Canadians, Americans, and Mexicans will pay the price of the trade war started by President Trump. Why we're taking aim at our ally nations and not putting tariffs on Russian goods says it all.

I think that Trump is either gone completely mad or he has turned traitor to America. As an Australian I stand completely in solidarity with Canada but really worry about our reliance on the US. As an American, I am totally appalled that Donald Trump is our elected president putting himself & his selfish agenda ahead of the American people.
