The agruments are weak. The first settlers who left europe to settle in US was for economical and religious reasons. People should give up their food, personal values, language when they settle in north america? Well I guess you cannot eat any Jamaican food again. In new york people still are proud of their italian and irish heritage. The problem with Canada is you flooding your country way too fast with immigrants.

These immigrants were scheduled to leave anyway. They were well aware of it. So, it is not based on new immigration rules. The government tried to force too many people into the country, causing a spike in housing prices and many other problems. This then affected every Canadian. A lot are becoming even poorer. It is one of the reasons they had more tent cities and 2 million people going to food banks along with 2/3 of Canadians with only 500.00 a month after all monthly bills were paid. That's 2/3 of Canadians. The Convoy had released these figures over a year ago at CPAC. Proving that Canada is in a huge mess economically because of these Liberal policies. @minimaxmiaandme.4971 - I don't hide behind a fake name. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the convoy or did you forget? The Liberals violated Canadians' Constitutional Rights to Protest. Which proves they are more credible than the Liberals. Now be man enough to show your real identity.

Trudeau, you deserve what you are getting! You have allowed your illigal immigrants to enter the USA as well as fentanyl. You have pretended to stop sending YOUR problems to the USA, but it is all a lie. We see it everyday! Little done too late!

I’m a 53 year old Canadian. I went to college on an athletic scholarship & lived there for 10 years after turned professional in my sport. Why, why, why - with all the problems going on in the world right now to tackle - why would you want to start a trade war with your closest trading partner & most loyal ally? Not to mention that your list of Allies is shrinking daily. This is not going to end well for either of us. \nI just arrived home from a trip to the grocery store - making sure nothing in my cart said “ made in the USA” on it due to the new tariffs that began today. \nThe irony is, many of the states where Trump won by the biggest margin, are the states that are going to get hit the hardest from Canadian retaliation tariffs ( Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Indiana, the Dakotas - just to name a few). A lot of farmers in those states are going to be hit extremely hard with the fertilizer tax. After Canada, the next 3 largest Potash producers are Russia, Belarus & China. So , good luck \nWhen the cost of fruit & vegetables skyrocket across the US. Maybe you’ll put a little more thought into your vote 4 years from now.

I mean he’s certainly well spoken Im sure we all can agree but factual….not so much. People do your research on Chinese Triad gang members buying up real estate in Vancouver to launder money from drug sales. There is no doubt a growing problem in Canada that is impacting the US. By the numbers Canada illegal border crossings and Fentanyl crossing volume might pale in comparison to Mexico but it’s important to note that it’s still a rising problem they’ve yet to fully understand. Look at how much of the Northern US border is unguarded compared to the southern border. This tariff war between the US and Canada is no doubt a problem but Canada is absolutely a part of the reason it exists. In the end please remember there’s always two sides to every story and mainstream media is anything but objective when it comes to how they cover them.
2025-03-04 0
The problem here isn't temporary. Tariffs may or may not be. But when Canada, Mexico, and other countries build alternate trade infrastructure and strike deals that exclude America, this becomes near irreversible and will hurt America's economy well after Trumps term. And that's just trade and economy.\n\nThen there are many relationships worldwide which are already affected, and world leaders are poised to move on without America - leaving it isolated. The US is the most powerful country in the world and can survive alone, but even so, no country flourishes without international partnerships that both parties can rely on. Like Putin, nobody can rely on Trumps word.\n\nHe is destroying everything. And the American public are largely sitting back and watching it. \n\nWake up before it's too late.

As a canadian citizen, our prime minister has a good look & speaks well. But that's all. A lot of us are suffering up here. Everything is expensive. No jobs. More tax. More regulations. Our health care system is free, but it is impossible to see any doctors. Mega drug problem. Anyone thinks Justin T is a great leader. Please take him.
2025-03-04 0
Lol, yea, this guy is part of the problem also. Well, here is my response. Piss off. I hope Mr. Trump will bump there tariffs to 50 %.
2025-03-04 0
?? here. Sure, we have our differences internally. Sure, we have problems. But oh my, in my many years of experience I have never seen Canadians united the way we have become as a result of threats eminating from the US. For this, we are putting our differences aside and uniting as one. I’m not a Trudeau fan, but he speaks - very well - for our nation.
2025-03-04 0
Well ... here it comes ... the U.B.I, digital currency, and digital I.D ... problem, action, solution ... total control of every move citizens make.
2025-03-04 0
What is the US doing to stop guns from going into Mexico? That’s a huge problem for Mexico and fighting off their cartels. We should be talking about that as well.
2025-03-04 0
As a Canadian, Trudeau is an unserious loser who has no problem preventing key infrastructure projects like pipelines and refineries that would have made us more independent, and taxing us to live through carbon tax. All this is silly performative nonsense geared towards cementing a legacy and will cause more pain to Canadians. If his intellect is so chanllenged it can't go two steps ahead and realize our economy will be crushed and we'll have to capitulate before the US, well I guess that explains the last ten years. He should be tried for treason.

The drug and immigration issue is smoke and mirrors. Don’t buy into it. You have a narcissist who looks for issues to motivate his moronic followers. Who , by the way are for the most part well off and affluent.\nJust not well educated and not well versed on the problems of the World. \nMuch as I dislike my present Prime Minister…he is still my Prime Minister and not your Governor.\nHe is fallible because he is a caring human and a sympathetic leader who has tried to make it right for so many.\nCanada is a country of hope not a country of opportunity at the expense of others.\nOur leaders answer to us the people not to rich autocrats.

Trump just has a problem with this man. I wouldn’t blame him. The man is articulate, well spoken ,handsome.. everything Trump does not match.

From Italy: if people like Trump, Putin, Erdogan, Orban and Meloni have so much space and have reached the position that occupy the problem is not them but who voted for them. If people think that these characters with their wicked decisions bring prosperity and peace, the biggest work must be done on the people who choose them, not on those who have been chosen. Canadians, hold on tight, stay with your back straight, continue to be what you always were, do not bend as many rich Americans have done and prone to the delirium of omnipotence of Trump. We Italians know well what it means to have such people in the seats of power and also how important it is that not everyone bends.

This guy does not speak for all Canadians here in Canada. He had every opportunity every opportunity to make things better with Donald Trump. They hate Donald Trump so now they use the media to attack Trump and make him look bad Justin Trudeau you’ve done nothing for Canada for the last 10 years, but put us in debt put us in financial problems put us in Criminal problems. We have rapist here that we brought to Canada terrorist that live in Canada. We are laughing country because of what you’ve done so don’t sit there and make yourself look great and brave and think that Canada’s behind you you better think again you’ve destroyed Canada now you wanna be a big man up there and podium and talk how you’re talking that you think you know Canadians and Canadians are speaking out well that’s a lie if you truly mean what you mean get rid of the carbon tax in Canada let’s start lowering gas prices in groceries. Has nothing to do with them. American people let’s start growing our own stuff in Canada that that been discussing many times and that you’ve just throw it out the window bring back our pipeline. How about that to increase cost and money in Canada again you won’t do that. We’ll have a fight with Donald Trump now I’ll tell you you won’t win. God is in control. Evil has no authority anymore and there’s nothing that these evil leads can do they’re swamp is being drained as we speak.

Well done Canada, the UK is so proud of you fighting off the Bully that is president Trump, who is turning his back your back against the world, whilst supporting the war criminal Putin. Listen to the world America Trump is the person causing all these problems for you. Do something about him, Vance and Musk.
2025-03-04 0
take back everything you instated for trump with border security and let them deal with there own drug problems... and start refusing american goods at the border... tell them we only pay a set amount or send it back! when the US asks why we did it we can tell them it was to cover the costs of tarriffs that trump thinks the government pays... well lets make his words ring true at their expense!
2025-03-04 0
I would say if you stop the flow of drugs into our country like Trump asked you to do and tighten up the border. There would be no problem whatsoever at all, but you say you’re an honest person and you want to get along with everyone well, just stop the drugs from coming in in East Terrace won’t be on there. Trump hasn’t seen any easing up on that border over there and things would be back to normal so it’s it’s sad he had to do that but then your retaliating and what does it do it does nothing yes Canada is gonna suffer and we’re gonna suffer here in the United States all because of your stubbornness and hardness I’ve seen over the years how you text the hell out of your own Canadian citizens and that’s why they don’t like you there, but that has nothing to do with it so
2025-03-04 0
Don't worry American people they want it this problem they course the trump they want to be America great again and don't worry what is happening any American people you put your tax more than the trump number one is cut out the electric America after trump giving you mines - 200 tax cut if stop to minerals for air force stop to farmers Fortalice you can get another 200 percent tax cut is well dont think what the Americans thinking think first your own people nothing else ???

All joking aside, Canada has been able to form a symbiotic relationship of mutual benefit with the United States since even before NAFTA 1. But.......... right now it is almost like a 51st state and I do not mean that in a joking way. US states are always competing with each other, but what prevents things like, oh say the American Civil war from happening is the Federal apparatus keeps them in line for the good of the empire as a whole. \n\n If Canada is like a 51st state, then it is competing with the other 50 states in a way that all 50 of them are going to get upset about. So either the states complain, or you treat Canada as an economic competitor. Mexico being behind the United States and Canada is what makes it a good candidate for a symbiotic relationship. For all its problems, Mexico has a Christian population (with some indigenous traits) that goes well with America. Their nations different economic status means we can support them and they can support us doing different things for countries of different development stages.\n\nCanada being so similar to the United States will want that as well and will never outbid the United States. Again this is seen as a hostile economic competitor. \n\nIts not Canada or Americas fault. After 2007 and the lies about fanny and Freddie, leman bros, mortgage backed security's, and a cash shortage that was not real. How was it real if the offshore exchanges did nothing? 2007 was not financial in origin it was our global monetary system seizing up. To say Wall Street greed and MBSs did it would be like saying a single drop of cement turned the ocean to cement.\n\nBut something did. Something turned the market from liquid to concrete, it happened in France decades before......\nFinancially packaged items could no longer be priced or traded.

This video is horrible. I don't know what political angle is, but the real problems are very well known and have nothing to do with what you said. First, housing is incredibly difficult to build in Canada because of regulations and land title problems, I.e., you don't own that land, the indians do. On top of that, there is a constant influx of immigrant that require housing that doesn't exist. Children cry because they cannot leave their parents' houses because they can't move anywhere, so they can't find any jobs locally, and they're trapped. There is no will in the canadian government to change these immigration policies, to change the land rules so that people can own land and build houses, or do anything about their incredibly micro managed economy that makes it impossible to do anything. If so, yeah, they go to the US to have a future while Canada stagnants and dies.

Well... Despite it's problems, I'd still much rather live in Canada than the UK. I mean look how beautiful and clean it is.

Well! To solve the problem is America try to help boost Latin economy. Once Latin America economy strengthened, America no longer the temptation of migrants.
2025-02-24 0
Well kind of surprised,, Trudeau Carney Freeland , said this problem did not exist in Canada
2025-02-24 0
How do these people get to Canada in the first place? Apparently they have a border problem as well, we should send their border patrol some $$ assistance instead of funding African's accessibility to condoms ?
2025-02-23 0
You sound so well connected with ALL the points to these problems.
2025-02-23 0
Don't listen to that garbage right winged fox media. Canada was dealing with this well before Trump took office again. As a Canadian, I can tell you our government failed us too. We took in well over 5 million immigrants (documented and undocumented) over the past 3 years. Like New York, many of our cities are overwhelmed with this influx. We don't even have the resources to track down expired visas, overstays, or asylum cases. Last year our government admitted there was a problem and decided to start taking action. The biggest issue is people claim to be tourists with no intent of leaving. The Canada US border is far stronger than our international one.
2025-02-23 0
What a crock of crap! The USA has the problem of weak borders, so they need to step up their border patrol. Canada is securing their borders because of the frequent and much more abundant cases of drugs and guns being smuggled into Canada! The stepped up Canadian border enforcement was already well underway months before Trump made his tariff threats. \nThink about it, the 43lbs of fentanyl that was smuggled in from Canada, at the US border, is a drop in the bucket in comparison to the flow of it that comes in through the ports. Also think about when you cross a border, it’s the country you are crossing into that checks you out. Classic case of Trump blaming others for US failure.

Hey Tyler,\nA lot of us have family in the US. My grandmother came into Canada with the railroad because of her father. I could apply for citizenship and have no problem getting it. That being said, I can also apply for an Irish or English citizenship as well. We are family, and I am so sad how you are letting Trump treat us.\n❤❤❤

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

Good \nBut the problem is - we want our Gov here to be as strict and find if they all are really Indians \nAjeeb ajeeb fraud, mafia chal rahi hein duniya mein \nHuman Trafficking and Drug Trafficking are consequences of these DUNKI methods. \nHope people don’t waste their precious lives, money, land and gold for these kind of criminal activities. \n\nAnd those who are criminals stay out of India as well. \nWe don’t want you here.

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

My Indian friend told me Gujerati Indians have caused a lot of problems. Also the problem of defecating in parks and behind railway lines. And they claim that the body odour causes Canadians to puke...\nHowever the Indians I met were from Patiala at a cafe. They were well groomed and friendly.

I could give 2 fucks about their situation & trauma's. Guess what the world is brutal, ruthless, unforgiving, & dangerous. USA is no better. We have our problems as well & it's not easy. If their so proud of their heritage, nationality, culture, & ethnicity. They should go & stay in their own country & fight for the rights. Don't flee as soon as something gets hard & difficult. Blaming others for their problems. Instead of trying to impede & illegally force your way into another country as if your entitled to it or as if the world owes you something. Nobody owes or has to give you shit. \nThis is unfair to the many legal immigrants & US citizens. Who had to wait years & decades just to get approved with sponsorships. Having to fight their way to get accepted. An these illegals come in like it's fun & games. Pulling the waterworks as if we have to succumb to their will. Were struggling to help ourselves & they want us to help them. This is utterly ridiculous.

you guys are doing a excellent job . I do fell sorry for them . but we have our own problems . we cant play the dumping ground for the rest of world . pay , pay , pay taxes only to see them getting the jobs . because they work for half of the paying jobs . pay no taxes and just send the dollars back to their family's . but the rest of us are paying for everything for them . some of them know the system better than us . get your alien status get food stamps , well fair , wic program . and , and .and we are picking up the tab .

They being rejected because they get in and do not want to leave”.\nIndians want to live outside India because they can succeed with n caste system in their way. \nIn the U S Indians can achieve high educations, own business or create wealth for themselves and live in big houses, have $ to have family live very well .\nThe problem is that Indians overstay their visa’s and they have also entered the U S illegally by way of Canada & through Mexico.\nThere are entire Indian communities in America, restaurants, clothing shops , synagogues and many businesses that cater to Indian culture. \n \nIn the end, many are residing in America illegally and they have violated U S immigration laws.\nTrump peas elected by the vote , will of the American people, and Americans want people here Illegally removed.

Well if they acted like a man maybe they won't have that problem but they want to be weirdos so be a weirdo on your own time not the American I'm their name we appreciate that they want to serve our country but the point is they can't push their views into our military our military is a fight and forth to protect America we cannot have these outrageous programs that does not protect the American people that's not why they're there they're there to protect America and that's it

Trump says EU tariffs will ‘definitely happen’ as Mexico, Canada and China retaliate \nTrump takes softer line on UK, saying ‘I think that one can be worked out’, while Mexico and Canada vow levies and to strengthen ties with each other \n \nPhilip Wen, Léonie Chao-Fong and agencies \nMon 3 Feb 2025 03.57 GMT \nShare \nDonald Trump has threatened to widen the scope of his trade tariffs, repeating his warning that the European Union – and potentially the UK – will face levies, even as he conceded that Americans could bear some of the economic brunt of a nascent global trade war. \n \nIt comes as Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, announced on Saturday, sparked retaliation from all three countries. Mexico and Canada have vowed levies of their own while China and Canada are seeking legal challenges. \n \nTrump said on Sunday night that new tariffs on the EU will “definitely happen”, repeating previous complaints about the large US trade deficit with the bloc and his desire for Europe to import more American cars and agricultural products. \n \nEmpty shelves remain with signs ''Buy Canadian Instead'' after the top five US liquor brands were removed from sale at a British Columbia liquor store in Vancouver. \nAsian sharemarkets tumble in response to Trump tariffs \nRead more \n“It will definitely happen with the European Union, I can tell you that,” he told reporters. “I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline but it’s going to be pretty soon.” \n \nTrump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said. \n \n“Well Prime Minister Starmer’s been very nice, we’ve had a couple of meetings, we’ve had numerous phone calls, we’re getting along very well, we’ll see whether or not we can balance out our budget.” \n \nIn Canada, the department of finance published a list of US products imported into Canada that it will target with a 25% retaliatory tariff starting on Tuesday. \n \nThe list shows products that will be hit in the first round of retaliatory tariffs by Canada starting on Tuesday, and mounts to $30bn Canadian dollars’ worth of goods (about US$20bn). The impacted products include tobacco, produce, household appliances, firearms and military gear. \n \nCanada is also preparing for a second, broader round of retaliatory tariffs in 21 days that will target an additional C$125bn (US$86bn) worth of US imports. The second list would include passenger vehicles, trucks, steel and aluminum products, certain fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, dairy products and more. \n \nFILES-US-CANADA-MEXICO-CHINA-TRADE-TARIFFS<br>(FILES) US President Donald Trump speaks to the press after signing an executive order in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC on January 31, 2025. Trump is imposing steep tariffs on major US trading partners Canada, Mexico and China, with a lower rate on Canadian energy imports, said the White House on February 1, 2025. Washington will impose a 25 percent levy on imports from Canada and Mexico, with a 10 percent rate on Canadian energy resources, until both work with the United States on drug trafficking and immigration. Goods from China, said the White House, would face 10 percent tariffs. (Photo by Mandel NGAN / AFP) (Photo by MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images) \nTop Democrats warn tariffs will hit Americans hard as Trump says it’s ‘worth the price’ \nRead more \nClaudia Sheinbaum, Mexico’s president, said her government will provide more details on the retaliatory tariffs she ordered on US goods on Monday. Sheinbaum, in a statement on Sunday, said she will announce details on her government’s “plan B” as she insisted that Mexico “doesn’t want confrontation”. \n \n“Problems are not addressed by imposing tariffs, but with talks and dialogue,” she said. “Sovereignty is not negotiable: coordination yes, subordination no.” \n \n'Coordination yes, subordination no': Mexican president responds to Trump's tariffs – video \nSheinbaum and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone on Saturday after Trump’s administration imposed the new tariffs – 25% on goods from Canada and Mexico, with a lower rate of 10% for Canadian oil, and 10% on imports from China. \n \nTrudeau’s office said in a statement that Canada and Mexico agreed “to enhance the strong bilateral relations” between their countries. Canadian officials have had extensive dialogue with their Mexican counterparts, but a senior Canadian official said he would not go as far as to say the tariff responses were coordinated. \n \n“Now is the time to choose products made right here in Canada,” Trudeau posted Sunday on X. “Check the labels. Let’s do our part. Wherever we can, choose Canada.” \n \nTrump acknowledged the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on Mexico, Canada and China may cause “short term” pain for Americans as global markets reflected concerns the levies could undermine growth and reignite inflation. Asian markets, cryptocurrencies and US and European stock futures slumped in early Asian trading on Monday. \n \n“We may have short term some little pain, and people understand that. But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world,” he said. day, Trudeau said: “We’re certainly not looking to escalate, but we will stand up for Canada.” However on Sunday evening, a senior government official from Canada briefing reporters in Ottowa on condition of anonymity said: “We will obviously pursue the legal recourse that we believe we have through the agreements that we share with the United States.” \n \nThe official said the Canadian government considered the move by Trump illegal and said it violates the trade commitments between the two countries under their free trade agreement and under the World Trade Organization. \n \n“If other legal avenues are available to us, they will be considered as well,” the official said. \n \nCanada is the largest export market for 36 states, and Mexico is the largest trading partner of the US. \n \nCanada and Mexico ordered the tariffs despite Trump’s further threat to increase the duties charged if retaliatory levies are placed on US goods. \n \nChina also said it would file a lawsuit against the tariffs. The imposition of tariffs by the US “seriously violates” World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, China’s commerce ministry said in a statement, urging the US to “engage in frank dialogue and strengthen cooperation”. \n \nFiling a lawsuit with the WTO would be a largely symbolic move that Beijing has also taken against tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles by the EU. \n \nThe commerce ministry also said the tariffs were “not only unhelpful in solving the US’s own problems, but also undermine normal economic and trade cooperation”. China has said it would take countermeasures to “safeguard its own rights and interests”. It is not clear exactly what form these will take yet. But for weeks Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning has said Beijing believes there is no winner in a trade war. \n \nLate Sunday night, Trump said he would speak with Trudeau on Monday morning and shortly after said he would speak with Mexico as well, although he did not specify that he would speak with Sheinbaum. \n \nBeyond the official response, people were already thinking of ways to cope with Trump’s decision, including by sharing suggestions on social media for alternatives to US products. \n \nCanadian hockey fans booed the US national anthem on Saturday night at two National Hockey League games. The booing continued on Sunday at an NBA game in Toronto where the Raptors played the Los Angeles Clippers. \n \nFrom left to right, Toronto Raptors forwards Bruce Brown, Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher react as fans boo the United States national anthem before NBA basketball game action against the Los Angeles Clippers in Toronto, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. Joseph Chua, who works as an importer, said he expects to feel the tariffs “pretty directly”. “I’ve always stood during both anthems. I’ve taken my hat off to show respect to the American national anthem, but today we’re feeling a little bitter about things,” he said, adding that he will start to avoid buying US products. \n \nIn the streets, people in Mexico were trying to absorb the announcement on Sunday, although some in the capital acknowledged that they were unaware of the measures. \n \nIn the border city of Mexicali, across from Calexico, California, some people were concerned about the wider implications of a trade war. \n \nDriver Alejandro Acosta says that he crosses the border weekly in his truck to deliver vegetables to US companies. He said he fears US businesses in the Mexicali Valley will no longer want to operate in Mexico and they will move to the US. \n \n“If they raise taxes on the factories here, jobs may also decrease,” he said.

I don't think the average viewer knows why the US is doing this. They're trying to combat illegal immigration and fentanyl as well as Mexican compliance with the drug cartels.\n\nThe reason tariffs are being used is because America is in a very powerful position when it comes to trade. The american economy doesn't rely on trade like Canada (67%), Mexico (73%) and China (37%). American trade accounts for only 24% of its massive GDP. if you removed all trade from america, it would still have larger economical output than china, mexico and canada COMBINED. yes. Combined. \n\nFurthermore, Canadian trade with america account for almost 80% of all trade in canada. A 25% increase would be absolutely devastating to canada. In america its about 13% so a 25% increase would cost more but it wont have any significant impact.\n\nNo doubt this tarrif war will cause far more problems for canada mexico and china than america. By a LOT. \n\nI dont think america is being selfish either. China does nothing to protect america from sending precursor chemicals to america to manufacture fentanyl. Canada facilitates illegal immigration and fentanyl into america with no accountability. And mexico is illegal immigrants by the MILLIONS and is literally working with the drug cartels. If they sort out those issues the trade war ends. \n\nI think america has every right to go to war to protect its sovereignty and its people.

Why can't Canada put a double % on the US tariffs which makes from the US imported goods like cars so expensive that nobody will buy it. Yes it's a problem. Just buy those cars from Europe or Japan. There are also very great goods from Europe like the orange juice mentioned in the video. This is available in Europe and Northern Africa as well. Canada eh! Just switch the trading origins. Would be very nice to getting much closer to Canada and Mexico with the EU ?❤

Well, I guess GM will just have to make it's vehicles completely in the US. I don't see a problem in the long run.

Trump should fix the problems with the United States economy, such as inflation, tighter credit , homelessness, unemployment , military spending ,wars in West Asia and the repairs of bridges or roads without falsely scape goating undocumented \n immigrants . Undocumented immigrants or asylum seekers are paying billions of dollars each year in taxes. In spite of their undocumented or current status, these immigrants—and their family members—are adding value to the U.S. economy, not only as taxpayers, but as workers, consumers, and entrepreneurs as well. Furthermore, we should not falsely accuse aslylum seekers or undocumented immigrants for the illegal drug problem or increase of crime .This evil rhetoric or fairy tale narrative with the odor of mendacity is anti social , divisive and needs to stop .
