I'm irish-finnish and my ancestors came here from a combination of 1900-1948 and they were very hard-working people and made an effort to put everything into trying to fit into the older canadian society, so I respect them. Sometimes they weren't treated well and were disrespected but they tried so hard to make an impact in our country, even if it might've costed them their lives. When I think of the US the first word that comes to mind is THANKFUL. Thankful that all my ancestor’s immigrated to Canada. Especially the United Empire Loyalist’s that came and settled in Ontario.
