This is happening at varying scales in many cities all over the US as well. Growing up in the 90s and 00s in suburban Minneapolis, we had a very small population of Indians. About ten years ago, they built a large all new subdivision near my hometown that is now 90% Indian. As an American born Punjabi, I used to visit Canada when i was young (90's) and it was a beautiful place. Now I dread going there because the Canadian culture is lost. It's over run with Indians and they don't share the same value or even cultural norms as Westerners. I see this problem in America as well but it's nto just Indians. In America, it's every country in the world that comes and interacts with their own community and there's no assimilation. Even as a second generation American, I still feel like a guest in this country and I am grateful for the Americans to have allowed my family to come here to live with them. Citizenship is just a piece of paper though. I know if I didn't assimilate, they could send me to India even if I know nothing about it. It's just basic humility.

And too many Indian's in Canada also caused salaries in IT to go down the toilet. In the late 90's as an AS/400 computer operator I was making $23/hr. and when I left IT in 2018 I was making $15 hr. You can't tell me these big companies like HP don't love Indian workers who will work for peanuts; sure they do. And the pay rate in general IT work went down and down.

You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. Immigrants coming from poorer countries like India settled there because of cheaper property. Brampton today is what it is, because of settler from these countries.
