So much respect for Canada and Mr Trudeau. I am a US American, ashamed of our executive branch. I hope you stick it to us. Cut off your oil to the US. I think you'll find better partners elsewhere.

Gotta disagree w/ Mr. Trudeau on one point, when he says Trump is 'very smart'--NO. Otherwise, Trudeau's speech was spot-on, and I love and respect Canada even more now. Most of us Americans cannot be proud of our country; we are held captive by a wannabe dictator and his stooges who are self-serving, vindictive, and UNpatriotic! To gather some semblance of sanity, I am taking the family on a Canadian Rockies tour in late spring--am tempted to not return home again.

JIimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr, Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, agree or disagree with them they never destroyed so much in their time in office. In My 50 years of life I have never seen such a diplomatic failure. Canada, UK, Australia and the Eu have been our closest allies since ww2 and Mr. Trump is his maga disciples are heading towards what the Soviet Union and the old Warsaw pact countries couldn't do in over 50 plus years. Canada Stand strong, France and the Eu Stand strong, UK and Australia nothing but love and respect from a disgusted American citizen. Hopefully democrats can flip the house or the senate in a couple years, or some republican senators will get some intestinal fortitude to at least stalemate the senate to turn the madman into an essential lame duck president. At the point no white house representation is better then what Trump has in store. President Zelesky all the respect in the world, you're what a leader should be, and hopefully your true world leader friends will stand for what's right. Love and respect and apologizes to Nato Eu Ukraine and Canada. A majority of Americans are absolutely disgusted by what this country has turned into.

Mr. Prime Minister Trudeau, my heart is filled with such adoration. Spoken so concise and eloquently as a leader, yet remaining respectful. Thank you for standing up for our soverenty as an independent nation (not a 51st state) and us as Canadians will stand together with you through this unnecessary tumultuous storm. I applaud our Prime Minister for holding his ground amidst internal turmoils. It only takes a lost, uninformed person and misguided (?) person like Donald Trump, to sabotage the special relations between Canada and the U.S. \nMr. Trudeau, your eloquent speech depicts your patriotism and passion. And yes, these are the wise words of a a mature person who is firing up the patriotism as he leaves the office. Respect !Mr. Trudeau?

As an American that saw the writing on the wall 7 years ago and left, I thank you Mr. Trudeau. You, and Canada are very much respected, and the world listens. Hopefully, decent Americans will overthrow the tyrant that 50% of them voted him in. To say I am ashamed of the USA as it stands is AWAY underwhelming. Much respect from Portugal, and long live Canada.

Well done Mr. Trudeau, he is no longer Prime Minister of Canada. He can express his thoughts openly and honestly. Without harming relations between our countries, he can put diplomacy aside, while expressing himself in a respectful manner. Ukrainians must fight against an invader and put their lives in danger. Our invader is purely economic. Let us hope that all Canadians will show as much determination and respect for moral principles. Not to bow to a lawless mentality.

Mr. K.Mukherjee .BE (Germany ) (Canada) Thousands of Indian students went to Canada with a student visa, not for education but to find ways to stay and work.These Five Eyes countries are rejecting the visas at random.Don't try to blame ,rather try to teach these young people the basic moral education and polite behaviour to others and not to try from the back door.Without any legal Immigration papers ,there will be no survival in Canada.Try to bring back the respect from the others.Please don't repeat the fifth largest economy in the world over and over.This will not change a dime about the notion to the developed countries.

I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. They don't worked very hard, they are rude, they have no respect for other nationalities, racist as fuck, and the list goes on. I have been living in Canada for 34 years and I have never once felt isolated. Now, I feel like Canada has become India. I'm sorry, Trudeau have turned this Canada into a 3rd world Country. I missed Canadians! I don't have an issue with immigrants at all; as I am an immigrant myself from the Carribean. However, I have always respected Canadian culture and their laws. I'm sorry, India is the number one hated Country on the planet as we speak. England, Australia, & many other countries are not allowing Indian students to enter anymore. The proof is in the pudding! They are just bringing all their bad habits wherever they go. So it's not only Canada that's fed up, there are lots of Countries that cannot stand their attitude and erratic behavior. They have very low standards if you ask me.\n\nI can't wait for the day to see Canadians working the fast food &service industry again. No offense, but I rather be served by Canadians than Indians. Those Indians crossing the borders & entering the USA ??, illegally are not poor. They are just greedy and do not respect any laws, either in India, or in the countries they migrate. They are a law unto themselves. \n\nAnd it is strange to note that Indians from the state of Gujarat do this, inspite of it being the state of the PM, Mr. Modi.
