How many times Donald declared bankruptcy? Looks like under him his country will go bankrupt. He is becoming friends with Putin, who is everyone's enemy and turning his friends and allies into foes. I was happy when he came to power and now I am sad for everyone including the Americans.

He has no idea what he is doing - laying off thousands of federal workers. If there are no manufacturing plants in the U.S. we will have to build them. How long will it take to build these factories and tool them up to accept workers? None of what the repubes agenda is set about bringing jobs to America - the way I see it, we are losing jobs now. The factories won't be ready for years. It's about money. Specifically Donald Trump getting as much money as possible from this term. Putin likely told him to make sure to distance America from its allies, so that he can use the USAs military gizmos to expand his mission to take over Ukraine amd any other country he wants. All this in exchange for making him and his cronies filthy rich. Trump keeps dropping clues about the plan. Elon, created Doge to weaken the economy even further so that the USAs assest are devalued and he can officially the US oligarchy. He's been in talks with Putin, we've seen them together. So now this Trump Gold card, is a way in for more oligarchs from Russia specifically to sweep up the remaining industries at a fraction of what they used to be valued. Then the USA will be the western arm of Putins empire. Since he made sure to obliterate all friendly relationships the US had with the western world, the other countries won't do anything to help the US so as to avoid all out war. Trump will then walk off into the sunset as one of the richest, if not the richest, man on earth.

I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I mean why would Trump want that at all who knows but he is certainly aligning with Russia just not openly at least that's what a lot of these decisions he has made recently seem to suggest I mean a lot of the consequences of those decisions and acting really seem to benefit someones agenda and to me a politics ignorant seems to be Putin ... Am I too crazy for thinking and feelings like that???

Yall are sheep. \nEvery country needs imports. But America relies on so many other countries to keep itself going is more than unhealthy. If China and the US went to war, yes, China would suffer. But look around your house, I bet most of it says - Made In China. To protect domestic goods. The short term is always the hardest. But it’s been proven that the long run, tariffs actually help a country’s economy. Also, the US gets shafted when it comes down to a lot of trade deals. Yeah, okay, imports are great… ( If you are getting a good deal )

I’d like someone to clarify why it would be advantageous for America to oppose its allies and align with Putin—I genuinely don’t get it, but I assume there must be some logical reasoning behind it, or at least an explanation that makes some kind of sense. I did not vote for this Republican led government. I voted Democrat. What is happening is frightening. It is madness! I do not support the alignment of our government with dictators and oligarchs. Don't buy Canadian Bacon, Maple Syrup and other Canadian goods. I find it particularly effective that Canada is focusing on red state America. Kentucky alcohol is just one example. Prime Minister Trudeau is also targeting those issues that they can most effectively respond, like electricity in the norther tier, LNG (shifting to EU). How truly sad and disgusted I am at Trump's attack on Canada, Mexico and all his allies. I am in Australia and I feel the concern and the pain being suffered by Canadians, historically the like us, alllies of the USA, because of the treachery and betrayal by the USA, whilst supporting despots like Putin in its attacks on our democratic way of life. We are in dangerous times indeed. Where we end up only God knows. I know onr thing for sure God is not on the side of the USA in its treachery.

Trump wants to be one of the handful of large, powerful autocracies in the world, he will continue provoking democratic allies to create strawman excuses to engage in conflict with and cede from them and look for any excuses to invade/annex, and in the end he most likely believes he has the power to compete with and overpower other autocracies. In the end, he sees them as the winners in the race of countries and he wants to be top dog over them, too. By consolidating wealth, industry/resources, control of information and technology - with his past attacks against the military - will it be any surprise if plans come to light of intentions to build a private army?
