I am in the US. While it will hurt all concerned, I hope Canada and Mexico go to the mat on these tariffs. We have got to get people to turn against Trump and to attempt to teach him to stop this chaos . Impossible, I know.

A month ago, I was still proud of America. The Clown show we are stuck with, has made that almost impossible.

As an US resident, I am in no way in agreement with our government…..I hate the fact that our closest neighbors for centuries hate us. I am depressed every single day since Trump entered the White House the first time. Our former and greatest president allowed me a reprieve but now I am thinking about moving from this country due to my extreme depression. Our family helped build this country as we were here before the revolutionary war. I was expecting a nice retirement and Trump and his cronies are making that impossible by possibly stealing our social security that I was told was I would get back for the last 50 yrs. I certainly understand why other countries do not like us…….I do not even talk to my family anymore as I voted for the prosecutor and they voted for the felon.

Trump is achieving the impossible in a short amount of time…. Such as making Trudeau sound like the voice of reason.

As a South African, I want to say that this trade war, as well as the hostile approach of Trump towards Canada, is devastating. If one were not experiencing it directly, it would be almost impossible to believe. Canadians have to prepare themselves for worse. These types of antics by the aggressor usually involve, finger pointing, contrived border incidents, plausibly deniable incursions and other actions, by the aggressor, which one can find if the preludes to the WW1 and WW2 are studied. I am not sure if you have porcupines in Canada, but you need to rapidly become one.

This is just a sampling of what happens when you elect an official do the highest office in the land while this individual Donald Trump is Holden s official position as dog catcher is out of his ability. The issue on fentanyl, is a intoxicant that will not and cannot be defeated. This is a total failure on the government's inability to protect its own citizens that is their number one job.. The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. I would like anybody who thinks that this is a far-fetched idea ,all I ask is that if you disagree with the finding that it should be legal with age restrictions if you disagree I would like to hear a solution that you have in mind that you think is better than the Cato Institute finding. I am under the impression that you do not have anything that remotely resembles a solution to this terrible problem. Right off the bat, with uality control, you'll stop hundreds of thousands of deaths. All of the issues that are being dealt with are just so screwed up because we've already been through this before. After making a constitutional amendment to ban the manufacturing of alcohol it was reversed and I hope that the country realize that we cannot win this battle with the same mindset. The only reason why fentanyl is such a dangerous intoxicant is because there's no quality control. Also the cartels are not affected negatively \nBy allowing the government deal with this problem. the end result would be not only do you save lives but you also have put a very negative Spike through their heart of the cartel in the pocketbook. Incense elan musk & DOGE cost cutting measures since this War on drugs has caused over a trillion dollars and no 6:28 results. The DEA does not remotely live up to its mission statement and has failed every year since that policy was put in place. I would love to hear any feedback and a solution that is remotely possible.. let's hear some original ideas that the country would benefit from.. the ball is in your court.

Canada can't be fixed. In theory these problems are VERY easy to solve. In practice literally impossible. \nCanadians have the political sophistication of a 6 year. Anyone with the opportunity to leave is leaving or has left.

This video is horrible. I don't know what political angle is, but the real problems are very well known and have nothing to do with what you said. First, housing is incredibly difficult to build in Canada because of regulations and land title problems, I.e., you don't own that land, the indians do. On top of that, there is a constant influx of immigrant that require housing that doesn't exist. Children cry because they cannot leave their parents' houses because they can't move anywhere, so they can't find any jobs locally, and they're trapped. There is no will in the canadian government to change these immigration policies, to change the land rules so that people can own land and build houses, or do anything about their incredibly micro managed economy that makes it impossible to do anything. If so, yeah, they go to the US to have a future while Canada stagnants and dies.

The housing market in Canada is out of control. Prices keep going up, and it feels impossible for first-time buyers to afford anything.

This is really sad becuase life after deportations is tough for somebody who was raised in USA. I was taken to the U.S. as a baby and grew up there, but at 19, I was sent back to Mexico—a country I had no memory of, no connections in, and barely spoke the language. Very conservative video, coming right in time for the election. Immigrants are always an easy target, as this video shows well. At this point - Feb 2025- a lot of condos have been built in Toronto and guess what, nobody is buying!! The economy dipped with the pandemic as it happened in many other countries!
