Universities can build students accommodations for their students if they want to accept a lot of them. Yet they did not do it. They would pay thousands of dollars to Vice chancellors or whoever higher up in the universities that even the students don't know about those people. Lol.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Love is the only way forward! \nThanks again for your well worded video!\nPeace n Love!

thank you for this balanced video. Im a 34 yr old Canadian and share the exact same view as you about this country. \nMy husband, myself and our tow kids moved to Mexico a few years ago, as well as a few friends of ours, and leaving Canada was like getting out of a toxic relationship lol Once you're out of the 'bubble' that Canada has created for it's citizens you see just how sour it has become. \nThat being said, we did move back to Canada to buy some land far north Alberta-only because we have small kids and want them to be around family-but if it was just my husband and myself we DEFINITELY would have stayed in Mexico. \nMexico feels safer, its beautiful there all over the country, the people have wonderful community and live life fully, the culture is enthralling, the food is BETTER in every way, the language (Spanish) is a fun element to life, and best of all-in Mexico, you are out of the censorship and the 'fear bubble' in Canada. You see it all over headlines, you hear it on the radio, it comes out of everyone's mouths in Canada-obsessed with 'safety' and everyone is terrified of living. Now that we're back we're very aware of it and do our best to ignore it and block it out. \n\nMoving abroad is a lot of work, but I would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it. If you are able to, just do it.

How does immigration in large numbers correlate to a lot of crack head roaming on the street and what a coincidence that all are yt…\nThat’s definitely a immigration problem lol

I think you're right. I worked in new construction plumbing, building mosques and really got along well with those guys. had lots of fun. but when I get a service call and its an Indian last name I kinda cringe tbh. even my Indian friends tell me not to work for Indians lol. that said, there's lots of good Indians here

There are a lot more reasons to leave Canada other than the insanely high cost of living, which comes from inflation, a hidden tax, the higher crime or greater drug use. In general the quality of the people sucks, and what she may know but is not mentioning is the fact that it is only a matter of time before they institute digital mark of the beast central bank slave money in Canada. Then the government will control your money 100%, and will tell you what you can do or not do and thing or not think or poof, there goes your money. They are also paying farmers all over the place to stop growing food, because of climate change, lol, so there will be food shortages and energy shortages because that causes rises in co2, a gas that when doubled makes plants grow 50% faster. The ruling class in Canada has much worse plans for Canadians than they realize, and I wish people would be more honest and knowledgeable to talk about these things too. But yeah, economically in 10 years what it is going to be like in Canada will make what is happening now look like a stroll in the park.

lol there is a lot of ignorance about Canada and Canadians here. We are not nice, we are passive aggressive, we love foreigners who come to this country to launder their dirty money in real estate (up up go the housing prices), the RCMP is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (not patrol) and Mexicans who have no previous ties or status in Canada DO need a visa to enter. Canada has accepted an insane amount of Uber / amazon driving immigrants over the past few years to boost the GDP, unfortunately our infrastructure across the country is lacking. We don't have enough homes, schools, hospitals, doctors, good jobs for the people that are already here. Immigrants are conned and sold a lie, going to the USA only makes sense. Both of our countries need immigration reform.

Late to the party, but love the tap water thing. I live in Toronto, and work with a lot of folks who came from other places, and they won't drink the tap water! It's ALL I drink. The only time I buy a bottle of water is when I'm walking in the city and run out of the bottles I've filled at home from the tap! Bottled water tastes kinda weird to me, at least, the cheaper brands do lol

Come to Alberta lol cheap living but here's the kicker you'll be paid a lot less in your field of work . Oh and rent in Calgary is avg. $1800 per month + hydro try making that work on your $15 -$18 per hour job

Omg. 40 million is itself plenty. It’s a lot and loads unsustainable for Canada. Either build more cities or reduce population is the only way lol
|

Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). While Canada is by no means free of racism, it is absolutely a deciding factor for a lot of minorities and for good reason unfortunately.

lol\n\nIn area, Canada is the second biggest country in the world but unfortunately it is managed as a small country like Monaco, Andorra or the Vatican.
\nThe housing issues we see in Vancouver and GTA is caused by the lack of high-speed trains like we see in Tokyo, Seoul and many Chinese or European cities, where lots of people can live 300Km away from their jobs.
\nThe government need to build in Canada these urban high-speed train lines:
\n- Vancouver island-Kamloops-Calgary-Edmonton
\n- Quebec city-Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Windsor
\n
\nThese two high speed train lines will serve more than 70% of population in Canada, allow them to live hundred of kilometers away form their jobs, buying houses where land price are cheaper.
\n
\nThe second factor that makes Canadians houses not affordable is manpower price, and that can be easily with temporary working visas like we see in the agricultural sector, but this is not easy to do because the unions in Canada are strong, and will force electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc. of years of training and certifications, when in other developed countries a professional engineer signatures to certify the construction is the only thing that is needed.
\nIn lots of Europeans countries, professional engineers train their trades apprentices to build houses, and sign and become responsible for the quality and safety of the construction.
\nMunicipalities also employ professional engineers that visit work sites to check if all construction rules are being followed.
\n
\nCanada cannot implement this plan because that will bring ruin to the Ponzi scheme we see in the housing market, causing million of mortgages payers going under water, and multiple banks to collapse like we saw in USA and Europe during the 2008 Great Recession.
\n
\nThe only solution for this situation is a communist regime implemented by the NDP, replicating the quiet revolution that started in Quebec last century (1960).

Here in England we are happy with our Indians, the Sikhs and Hindus dont bother anyone and are law abiding. Whereas the muslims esp Pakistanis are constantly grooming our children and women, pushing their religion on us etc. I find it odd that so many Canadians have an issue with Indians. If they were Arabs or Pakistanis you guys would be in for a lot of trouble lol

Listen as a minority person who is proud of my heritage but grew up here with immigrant parents who were given refuge in Canada, I can understand immigration. But...its getting out of hand, most of them are from India, most of them have homes in India and often return there for long vacations, These are not refugees or a diverse spread of peoples coming here. I am not hateful in any way but sometimes you have to tell it like it is, A lot of these people are not adapting to the culture here, why? Because most of them are grown already and are used to their own customs, with an ever increasing population now living here they don't really feel the need to learn or adapt because there are less regular Canadians. When I was in school it was already pretty multi-cultural and diverse although yes in my area there are less asians and black people, we had a lot of European(Serbian/Romanian) in particular. Now I go to the store and it's like 80% brown/Indian people lol, even my neighbors, most have moved out and more indian families are moving in. My city is expanding into like a mini Toronto when we can't even handle it, people cant even find jobs, people need all this other stuff, Its just too many all at once, crime rates have gone up over the last few years, this doesn't help anyone, immigrants either.

I’m surprised you never saw me. I’m homeless in a shelter and I hate this city.. well I hate all the cities like this. The people are heartless and sacred. The homeless are high and sad… I wander the streets like all day every day. When I have money I try to help the street people. Or I end up smoking weed on occasion. But there’s a lot of garbage and garbage people out there. I’m basically the rat king. I wander round doing anything I can. I’m pretty crazy tho I have bpd and doctors don’t really help anyone. I just live in the shelter and during the day I wander the streets trying to learn the city and help people. Sometimes I’m rude and angry and insane due to the state of the city and all I’ve seen. I yell and sing as I walk around just to hate everyone who is the average scumbag citizen. You know who I mean.. and I call them out on their bs. But only during my bpd episode or whatever. Otherwise I try to help all the street rats. But lots of them are helpless addicts like it’s hard to find the proper way to help. You gotta be careful who you help I suppose, because your good intentions of helping can lead to harming them. They end up buying drugs I guess sometimes. I am very easy to spot. I’m zooming down the streets. I usually walk so fast and everyone is so brainwashed brain dead slaves of society for real… they don’t care or help no one. I mean some do but it’s extremely rare…. I’ve probably walked literally everywhere you were. That park on Jarvis. I see those security guards lol they were dicks to you and definitely lied about not being on camera. I see them like almost every day. And all the other places. I slept outside a few times not often. I’ve been to all these spots I walk by them all the time it was crazy to see it all. That’s my life haha it’s awesome. I do the best I can and it’s definitely better than everyone else who has a job and a place like…. They’re all just selfish shallow heartless scumbags. Harsh truth. Keep it real.

You are spot on! (And far too polite/politically correct - sorry to say lol).\n\nToronto is the WORST city to live in. I look forward to leaving. I regret moving here 17 years ago - don't know how I've managed to stay this long. Toronto has changed me... and not for the better. This place will make you bitter, you'll have no friends (or shallow, money-hungry ones) and there's no sense of community. Your workplace will be toxic, you'll work long hours for a boss that treats you like crap and pays you less than you're worth. You'll be underpaid, and not valued or appreciated. You'll wake up in the dark to go to work in the freezing cold and come home in the dark, in the freezing cold. You'll live in an expensive tiny box in the sky with disrespectful neighbours (and their barking dogs). The 'unhoused' and addicts will hang outside of your building, begging you for money and smoking crack/weed. The stench of urine and poop on a hot summer's day (the 3 months of it that there is) will make you want to heave.\n\nAnyone thinking of moving to Toronto should seriously think twice and do LOTS of research. There are so many BETTER cities in the world - choose wisely. Don't choose Canada.

Can’t help but see and feel the similarities between Muslim’s and Christian’s (conservatives). We are constantly vilified as well for following the Bible and not wanting our children to be around or taught perversions. Here in Michigan we have a pretty significant Muslim population and it was truly gratifying to see them coming together with the Christian’s to fight back against the indoctrination happening in our schools. Our media loves to call Christian’s all the “igot” and “acist” “obic” words, but they hold their tongues a lot better when Muslim’s are involved for fear of being seen as another type of “ascist”. lol I wish all of us (Christian, Muslim, Jewish) who follow a moral code as shown to us in our various Holy books could come together on this. There would be so many of us combined, billions! With all of us together can you just imagine how fast we could turn this deterioration of humanity around? I think we all agree that the kids should be off limits!!! If we could just all come together on that one thing, the world would change!

Salam, I was born and raised in Canada but I knew one thing ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to get married and raise my children in my home country, Lebanon. So, I did get married back in 2003, raised my children there until 2021. This is when I made the conscious decision to move back to Canada for a “better life” ? only because there were lots of problems with our economy…. \nDuring this past summer I knew that Lebanon was a “better life” lol \nAgain after living and witnessing first hand everything you mentioned in your video, I too made the conscious decision to leave Canada and move back to stunning Lebanon. Best decision I have made! \nI completely agree with everything your saying and may Allah show you a better life for you and your family in the Middle East. \nWelcome to come to ??❤

As a Canadian myself, there are definitely a lot of problems going on here right now. Im on Vancouver Island and its very expensive. A lot of problems with homelessness and addiction here as well. \nIm probably going to be stuck in Canada forever lol, but I really like Southern Europe. Im not sure how big the Muslim population is in those countries. There are countries like Qatar and UAE where the official religion is Islam.

I am talking to my friends and family back home and they all say, you are in better condition than us, at least you are earning with dollars. Lol what? I spent with dollars too. It’s not like I earn with dollars and go back and spent with 1:20 ratio. And you are spending 2000$ flight ticket to get there which used to get it for 800$ with promotion. They are like everything is 10x more expensive. Everything is 2x more expensive but when you have high quality lifestyle the feels like is actually a lot more. Mortgage rates went up 5 times more compared to the one in covid times. That impacts who has variable mortgage or the one has fixed concerned about their renewal. That impacts on rentals because most of the owners are paying their mortgages thru these rents. You did a Good comparison on salary vs rent that will help people understand.

The amusing aspect of new immigrants eager to work in snow packing here in Canada is that while a lot of people show up on the first day, by the second day, only half of them seem to make it to work because of much cold lol

Yeah I'm about to be homeless but prison is a lot better at least I get three Square meals a day and the bed the only good thing about Canada is you can't get the death penalty for anything LOL I'd rather be in prison than be eating out of a dumpster

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

Bruhhh stop lying to the people lol talm bout you can keep your door unlocked ?both countries have pros and cons I’m born and raise in Montreal and you couldn’t pay me to live there again lol they’re not telling you the winter last like 6 months the weather can get to -35 -40 everyday so it’s always freezing /you always got to shovel snow there’s always some winter storms your always in the dark because sundown at 3 pm you have to boost your car every morning because it will died at night because of the cold and Montreal depending on where you lived is super racist they will call you the n word they used to call black people monkeys on tv (look it up )and a lot of radio personalities are trashing black people on the radio like it’s normal I had to fight random ppl my whole elementary school and high school because of the color of my skin and cops will punch you in the face specially if your black so please don’t make it seem like mtl is a paradise to be fair it all depends on what you want /racism is everywhere and everything expensive I choose a place where I feel comfortable raising my family with good weather Montreal is a great city for the food and attractions but keep in mind that 6 months every year your are stuck in a freezing environment that’s why we have ppl who are snowbirds who leave every year montreal a great city but it ain’t no paradise arrete de parler kaka lol

As the child of immigrants, i think this is a perspective a lot of Canadians are facing. I could never bring myself to leave, most people my age are the same. All your friends are here, the neighbourhood you grew up in is here and you're simply not cut out to go to where your parents originally came from (half of us come from parents/grand parents who immigrated) because the climate is probably 1000x different lol (I just know I couldnt survive South Asian/Middle eastern weather).\n\nI just turned 18 though so I haven't experienced the insane rent and stuff (as it's literally impossible for me to move out). Things will be better I know it, but the question is how long will that take? Id personally give it 5 or 6 years. We need to put a cap on immigration and just completely cut off the GTA from receiving any for a set amount of time (think 2 or 3 years?). We also need to amplify our construction industry (incentives/rezone some areas for development) and the government should start subsidizing urban development projects with an agreement that prices will be lowered, or offer money to people who are purchasing condos/houses (think iZev but for urban housing and not electric vehicles). \n\nAlso stop taxing us and simply start slowing down/cutting non-essential social services; a specific government program should be created that closes all of these at once for a set amount of time (think 2 or 3 years as well) and they'll be able to redirect the money to more important causes.

Winnipegger here who lived in Toronto 2014-2020, moved back to Wpg 2020-2021 and is now back in Toronto. \n\nFirst and foremost, your comments on crime are inconsistent with the data and blown out of proportion. I suggest viewers take a look at StatsCan’s crime severity index which confirms that Ontario is the safest province or territory in Canada (safer than PEI lol). There are also scores for cities and Toronto is safer than almost every other Canadian city, safer than even Ottawa or Calgary, twice as safe as Vancouver, nearly three times safer than Winnipeg. If we start comparing to US cities, it would be even more shocking. Suffice to say, Toronto is not only safe, but it’s the safest major city in Canada and one of the safest major cities on earth. \n\nThe homelessness crisis has certainly gotten a lot worse, sadly. As has the cost of living, but you get what you pay for.\n\nHaving travelled to 35 countries (doesn’t mean I’m an expert, but I have some experiences in other places), I respectfully disagree and think Toronto is one of the greatest cities. It’s one of the greenest cities in this continent, safe, on the lake, super close to other major cities, great infrastructure (relative to Canadian cities anyway), it’s beautiful and there’s a ton to do, not to mention the diversity. \n\nDon’t be turned off by this, if you can afford it, it’s one of the best places you could live on this planet.

Why bother getting citizenship if you say it's not worth it lol been seeing a lot of ungrateful immigrant stories popping up. Canada's door is wide open, you're free to go home if it's not for you.

As a second generation Nigerian immigrant (parents were born in Nigeria and I was born in the US). I 100% agree w/ his perspective. I’ve spent consider amount of time in Nigeria w/ my side of the family that’s doing well and the other side that aren’t. Aboard should only be for people who have no opportunity back home as in they have tried everything and nothing worked for them. If you are doing well in Nigeria, try and give birth to your kids in the US so they can retrieve citizenship. There is no reason a successful person back home should sell their things and move aboard even for kids as you can send them aboard to receive an education and help them gain citizenship and from their they can file for you. The amount of systemic racism, odd jobs you will have to work (God forbid you don’t have a degree and you move aboard for non degree purposes that’s when aboard will show you pepper), cost of surviving is expense here especially now as inflation is high. It’s just not benefiting especially if you were better off in Nigeria. However, this shouldn’t stop you from coming just know that the road isn’t easy and some places are worse than others. I’ve never been to Canada but have been to the UK and by far would advice anyone from back home to avoid UK at all cost. Not even sure how Nigerians are even making it there lol (it’s a never ending cycle of poverty plus citizenship is very difficult to gain and the discrimination in my opinion is much worse than the US. UK society has a class system and it only really empowers British people. The UK is so bad that they even discriminate against Eastern Europeans that should let you know a lot.) Also why do you think most Brits Nigerians come back to Naija hoping to secure job compared to American Nigerians and let me tell you it’s not because the UK is close to Nigeria, there is a true lack of opportunity. There are more opportunity in the US and possibly Canada compared to the Europe.

I think the US has lots of interesting places and practices; unfortunately, they also have batshit crazies like Marjorie Greene. That's enough to keep most of us on this side of the border, LOL. On a sad note, in 2022 the US had 51 school shootings. I love my American neighbours (yes, it has a u), but I don't think I could ever feel safe there.
|
| 2023-07-18 | 0 |
No, I agree with batshit crazy people! It’s all we see in the news in Canada. And when you mention there’s a lot of religion in the States, what you really mean is there’s only Christianity that dominates the country. In saying that, there’s less social reform in a Christian country than in a diverse country (Canada)? And history in the United States only covers U.S. history lol. You’re mental health help is almost nonexistent for the most needy, particularly those white boys who shoot up a school where bad things happened to them. People need to Pay More Taxes to support their families and communities!! Why are American people so afraid to help their communities, instead of just buying stuff for themselves?
