Trump is openly attacking America's allies while aiding its adversaries—most notably, Russia. His agenda has never been clearer. Just look at the way he treated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO. His actions systematically weaken those who stand against Vladimir Putin. Can’t you see what’s happening? Trump is acting in a way that directly benefits Russia, raising serious questions about his true allegiances.

This is so stupid. Trump is selling us (America) out to China, Russia and the other BRICs countries. Why else would Trump destroy relationships with our allies? Why else would he kill USAID? China gets to swoop in and be the hero now. I hear Trump is even killing the CHIPS act! Why!!? He's snuggling up to Putin and acting as if Ukraine was the aggressor in that war. Something incredibly fucked up is happening and this is only the beginning.

As an American I don't want this to happen to my neighbor nor did I condone it. Trump is the reason with the help of Oligarchs and Maga Republicans. I am not okay with this and I will fight with my Country men and my Allies. Canada is our Ally, wake up America and fight!

To protect domestic goods. The short term is always the hardest. But it’s been proven that the long run, tariffs actually help a country’s economy. Also, the US gets shafted when it comes down to a lot of trade deals. Yeah, okay, imports are great… ( If you are getting a good deal )

As an American I'm so ashamed and embarrassed. Please know this person does not support this. I think something hinky happened with this election because the country I have grown up in does not condone this. I don't know how to stop this, I don't know what is going to happen and I'm scared. This isn't the America I know and I know I'm not alone in this. Please know this isn't the people.

What's it about? It's about money. It's about a gangster family in the Whitehouse, and oligarchs in the administration, all trying to make as much money as possible. Now more than ever, even if these tariffs are short-lived, Canada needs to move away from U.S. trade. This is necessary for the long term survival and prosperity of Canada. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.

As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? I think I know who he made the deal with... And to those who voted for him: do you still believe this will lead you and your country to greatness??
