Many immigrants I know are now realizing that you just can’t come here and live a life while sending money back home. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck and they are finding out that this is not the land of milk and honey they thought it was. It needs to be understood across the globe that the United States is not the country you want to be in if you are trying to help your family back home. There cost of living vs the pay for most immigrants is proving that it’s not worth coming here anymore.

As a European living in Canada I noticed right after we got here that quality and even availability of good European product is lacking. All the American backwards product never impressed me. The only thing is that Canadians are so slow with everything. Also nice Toyota trucks, right from Asia, I never understood that just because they aren't available in the US, why don't we have them here?

If people understood what it even looks and sounds like to be on tv talking about the ridiculous disgusting things that they support, they would be ashamed to be seen... It's funny, but I moved from Russia to Germany in 2019, believing that it was a rich country with cool jobs. During a few years of living in Germany, I understood that I have less money after taxes than in poor Russia. Besides, the prices of everything are higher. 1000 Euro is enough to live in Russia as well as 3000 Euro in Germany. I'm not joking. Germany is just a good picture, but you will struggle to live there. And I can't image how I could buy an apartment there. For a flat in Berlin I need around 300k, but from my 72k income I could save only 10-12k. It could take the whole adult life to buy a flat. That's unacceptable for me

I am more amazed by the fact the entire country is unhappy with our current state of affairs, housing, homeless, poverty and unattainable housing, some of the incoming cannot be understood in a conversation of any kind some struggle with giving change, and Canadian standards are undermined.

Thanks ladies. I have a person from Serbia who I hired many years ago. He is a professional and one of the best people I have ever employed. He h& his wife understood what it took to come to Canada. There was no easy path for them but they perserveered. They both have succeeded & are a great part of Canada now.

The so-called Trump voters who said they are regretting voting for Trump are crazy. I don't understand why they should be regretting? Everybody knows what Donald Trump's intentions are. For example, the 100% rise on tariffs on imported goods, which Trump had tried during his first term and it backfired. Majority of Americans electorate are not just that rational. They make decisions based on emotions. Trump just kept on invoking emotional mantra like the migrants are invading American, woman is not strong and smart enough to be the president of US, a black woman from black immigrant family are not smart enough to be the president of US - old stereo type that have torment America from slavery. It doesn't take rocket science to understand why Trump played on the emotions of Americans. Trump knows that, that is why he kept repeating those emotional mantra, and not talking about the issues. Trump - bonefide conman - and his advisers understood this very well and used to con Americans to vote for him. Good con-job Donald. Kudos.

As first generation American all this endless whining is getting old. When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here. If not, they weren’t going to be allowed on the boat to start with. No free housing, health care, food or education. \n \n\n So what part of ILLEGAL ALIEN isn’t being understood. This kind of nonsense isn’t allowed in virtually any other country on the planet. Try to cross into Mexico or Canada illegally and see where you end up. The argument is Americans don’t want to do the jobs that the illegals do yet back in the day Americans did do these jobs. The problem is too many Americans today think jobs that require physical labor are beneath them and too many are getting paid way too much for what the job they’re doing entails. None were angry that my language level was not higher, but I managed to finish everything so far.\nI can say that all my experiences so far have been positive, I tried to respect my appointments.\nIn perspective, it would be beneficial for Germany to use English more because a qualified worker, if he has to choose between a country with English or Germany with German, will choose English first.\nThe German language is wonderful, but the world simply works in English and that's how it is.\nAlthough it would also be useful for those of us who came to Germany to learn more German for better business opportunities. Investing in knowledge and openness is beneficial for all parties.

While I respect her for doing it the right way, as everyone should, her lack of empathy for her family members is terrible. I’m not even talking about her voting for Donald. I have never understood this selfish way of thinking. Everyone agrees that there needs to be changes to our immigration system, but it has to be done humanely with compassion towards people.

Kudos to you for this video. My very optimistic view is good intentions did not produce expected results. Government should be understood as municipality, provincial and federal. Also inequality and joblessness in India has pushed more young people to for opportunities elsewhere. Who allowed sprouting of colleges? Who monitors renting of housing to students? What is responsibility of councillors MPPs and MPs? Irrespective of parties many of these elected positions of all levels are Indians. I agree with your thesis that Indians are mostly to blame. This prevents the right type needed migration and talent scouting that government needs.

While I always try to be careful of cyclists it's difficult when they ignore traffic lights and signs such as stop, yield, and one way. So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. The reason being, that the Indian people who came here in the 1900s are established and for so long, hoodlums/Indian government couldn't access them and their wealth or opinions about India. But with the laxed immigration, the hoodlums, who otherwise would have no access to Canada, have been let into the country (think of all the recent intel issues between Canada and India). And they are carrying out random attacks against the former Indians, but now Canadian citizens (and their businesses) that have been citizens for well over 40 years. My Indian parents came to Canada from Dubai in the early 80s and I grew up in Canada. The problem is, the Indians coming to Canada now are not the immigrants who used to come here. 20- 50 years ago, when immigrants came to Canada, they understood that they are moving to a new country with different laws, values and culture and they have to assimilate accordingly because they planned to call Canada home. To get into Canada, you had to have some level of higher education or investment means to help develop and add to the economy. But now, over the last 10-15 years, the kind of people coming in are straight out of the villages (mainly north Indians), with no education, low societal values, no care for assimilating and are even criminals who were wanted in India. By using Canada's study permit program, hundreds of thousands of Indians came here with the explicit plan to stay and never go back. To make matters worse, they feel now that they are in Canada, they can break the rules, break the laws and commit heinous crimes. If you look at the Toronto news now, it is ONLY Indians (mainly Punjabi's) committing most of the crimes from extortion to drug dealing to carjacking etc. Even the Indo Canadian community can't stand the people coming to Canada over the last few years, it is NOT a race issue! The issue is too many people from a different culture who don't assimilate!

In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

Unfortunately, the best is yet to come. It will get much worse. But I'm just asking out of curiosity, who will vote for the obviously idiotic, completely incompetent leaders there. I think it's the UFOs. You can only thank yourself for what awaits you.
