Trudeau always disappears during a crisis, leaving us to fend for ourselves - (1) COVID, he was at the cottage using every excuse not to be accountable for anything or using unconstitutional powers to crush a protest he didn't know how to handle, (2) Chinese spies, he's ignoring our intelligence service, (3) federal worker strike, he's in NYC at some gala.... I could go on but there's a reason we're hurting so bad.\n\nWe have zero federal leadership, and a federal government that makes things worse for us with things like: over-regulation, subsidizing media to keep us misinformed, nerfing select natural resource sectors but favoring others (oil and gas suffer, while coal is fine... probably because we sell it to China, but I digress), letting criminal out of jail, uncontrolled immigration, passing policies like the FHSA that drive home prices higher and higher, and of course, more and more taxes. I could go on about the billions in taxpayers' money the government blows - it's like a black hole - or the fact that MPs keep getting raises - April 1 is their fifth since COVID - and most federal and government employees are all getting raises at a time when the rest of us are learning to get by with less and less because we're taxed so much and housing, groceries, etc. are so unaffordable.\n\nI have applied for US citizenship. I want to stick around to fix Canada, but I think it's too far gone. We have too many socialists/communists in power and they're not getting voted out any time soon. I live in the suburbs of Seattle. I need to win the lotto to move. I'm a sick vet that needs multiple surgeries. I apply for help in my home. All that I get assigned to my house are asylum foreigners that come in to pretend to work....my house is still dirty and they don't help me while I grocery shop...they sit all day SLEEP and play with their cell phones!!! As a vet I'm so close to give em a kick out the door But I just tell them that I have to take a short trip...tell them to go wait in there car till I get back ... I text the agency to tell them to clock out and go home. First time, I told one to leave my house, she SNAPPED on me.

It used to be known that at certain times during the day, various border crossing points weren’t manned just open. I can almost guarantee that’s not happening anymore. I am Canadian at the time I speak of I was recovering from hip replacement, an American lady was brought into my room from broken hip replacement surgery and no insurance, she was accepted as a patient, there was a meeting around her bed what they were planning to do to ,put her on a commercial flight home, for the fee she couldn't pay, the doctor told her he would for go his fee but couldn't say what the hospital would do about their fee, happily she was sent on her way home quickly, would this happen in America?

Hey when my grandpa (my mom’s dad) who served our military during Vietnam which he was drafted. He saw men of all walks of life even black guys go over there fight and come home in rough shape or worse. He told me one time he while he was on the army base where he was based at and he saw a black man who at the time whites and blacks were still trying to get there acts together. Was flown in from Nam on a medivac with machine gun holes ripped right through his chest and was in bad shape my grandpa said they immediately rushed him to emergency surgery and my grandpa asked the surgeon who worked on him. “Hey did that color boy make it,” the guy said “it was touch and go there for a while but he pulled through but he was that close to d¥ing.” So if any man woman whatever that serves our military is willing to fight and lay down their l!fe for our country/freedom deserves to wear that uniform and serve with honor and pride.

I'm a Finn living in Paraguay. My husband and I lived in Germany for eleven years until we moved to Paraguay two years ago. Life is good even though financially it's different than in Germany. However, we have built a house, we have some land, two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. We have a car and food. It's more than I ever dreamed of. We strongly feel that we have a future and it's lovely.\n\nOne thing one must keep in mind: part of your first home country and your past will always be in you. That creates a process of mourning you have to go through. And the longer you are away the greater becomes the difference between you and your own country because you both are changing but to the different directions. You realize that there's no going back. This is what I'm processing at the moment. I know it takes its time and one day it will be completely fine.\nI wish you all the best for your life.

Every single country has the right to accept or deny anyone wanting to enter their country based on their own criteria. Travelling to a country is luxury and living & working there are privileges! I’ve had the privilege to work and live for 2 years in India and I’ve respected every single procedure I had to go trough, I had all my papers, I respected the country and culture, did my job as good as I could, stayed out of trouble and went back home when it was time to do that. Just like India has the right to set its immigration rules as strict as they want in order to protect their sovereignty so does any other country on the face of the planet earth! If you want to be accepted anywhere on planet earth (this is an advice for everyone and anyone from any country) you must EARN IT not demand it!

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. Your mom has a stroke or child has cancer you can take time off work to care for them with partial pay and not worry about losing your job
