I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this comment and death threats, but I would rather have Pakistani and Indian people then have Isis and radical Islamic terror because if people know how to act then it’s fine if they build their culture hair, don’t forget Europeans and white people built their culture all over the world and killed everyone that wasn’t what they wanted and got rid of their religions in their ancestors and they got rid of their culturewhite people have killed billions of people, but nobody seems to care about that as soon as you see some brown people moving into your country, that’s under 1 million you guys flip out it’s weird

Come into the West, a lot of white people give you shit, *no matter what you do* . Obviously not all of them. But in this modern era , enough of them to fund an entire media ecosystem just for that perspective. You think your immigrants weren't going to notice? Assimilate into _what_ ? The loudest mouths telling you they hate you and you're responsible for all their problems despite being a minority, because you're not a white Christian? And then you're going to scapegoat _them_ for the problems your government and system created, refuse to adapt, and complain that someone did. And _also_ , just like here in NYC.. the reason why a place gets taken over by a bunch of colored immigrants.. is usually because white people start _running_ . And again, the few that are left, complain about _their own_ fleeing, before doing so themselves. Hilarious. I'm in NYC, my neighborhood is literally every kind of immigrant, Filipino, Jamaican, West Indian, Indian, Haitian... all low to middle class, with some who really _saved_ up working for their 30-50 years here. Kids born or here since little kids, educated and making good money with few exceptions. And so of course the neighborhood.. looks just like any neighborhood in America (albeit denser and more traffic). Must be all that 'wokeness' in NYC. This has nothing to do with white or black or brown, of course. This dynamic plays out anywhere with people that are unwilling to challenge themselves and their ego just finding an easy scapegoat...

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

I dont have a problem with brown people coming and honestly a lot of the men in this video are pretty wise and accepting of everyone its just that they are taking all the jobs and when they become managers and so on they only hire other brown workers its to the point every store in my home town of Scarborough even greek food places are run by brown ppl.

Two generations ago (50-60 years ago) the Indians who came to Canada, with no family in Canada had excellent qualifications. They had to come with jobs waiting for them in universities, engineering firms, architectural firms and hospitals. The students were Masters or Ph.D. with full scholarship. They went on to build the country but they were minorities fighting the occasional racism on the street (as the woman in the green t- shirt says). Today, as a result of Trudeau's naïveté about the level of corruption in India, there's a huge influx of relatively unqualified Indians arriving and not being able to assimilate into Canadian society because they do not have good job qualifications. They end up living in ghettos and turn to crime. We must fix that by being much more selective of Indian immigrants. As someone of the Indian diaspora, I'd also like to say that there are those Indo Canadians ("brown folks") who want nothing to do with the Brampton or Surrey ghettos. Many of us are completely secular, having no religion and share nothing with these people fighting around temples and yelling at each other in Punjabi or Hindi. We speak English and French and vote in the elections.

Nothing says 'true Canadian' quite like a conveniently selective memory about history! And speaking of people who 'established' things: Have you noticed all the homeless folks? They’re overwhelmingly non-brown people. It’s almost baffling—here they are, the supposed descendants of 'pioneers' who’ve had centuries to 'build and settle,' and yet they apparently still couldn't manage to establish anything for themselves. Your enemy isn't the brown people. It's the 1% that brought in millions to suppress wages. A lot of these Indians are victims. They have come here with massive debt. They'll be in debt for the rest of their lives. I am an Indian. Many of the new comers from the North of India , whether students or immigrants, do not speak English fluently. Some, especially the Punjabis, cannot even read and speak even a single sentence in English. They bribe the immigration officials and get the IELTS certificate for whichever score/band they need. Some of them have a criminal background. When the inquiry for background check comes up, they bribe the police to get a clean certificate... and they all immigrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other Western countries. Every other brown skinned people gets hated and embarrassed because of these people. I have a strong feeling that many in IRCC are of Indian decent and they help these people. These people are racists, arrogant, selfish, greedy, rude, disrespectful, uncivilized and mostly unintellectual. They don't even respect people from other parts of India.

It's hilarious that even now Canadians will not say a word against these majority white politicians and bureaucrats. Even at this table, there are 2 whites, 1 East Asian and 1 South Asian. Yet the entire country just wants the South Asians out. You will not hold a single one of your kind responsible for what is predominantly a white political and bureaucratic body. I was born and raised in Brampton (but of South Asian descent via the Caribbean) and it pains me to see how the city has changed over the past 20 years. I was raised to be a proud Canadian and to be grateful for the opportunities that this country has afforded my family and I. I am a Canadian first, and Guyanese/Indian second. The issue I have with the city is that you have enclaves of ethnically homogenous people who refuse to assimilate - I once went into a Tim Hortons at Peter Robertson and Dixie, and was laughed at by the cashiers because I could not speak Hindi/Punjabi (despite being brown). There is nothing wrong with immigration - it makes the country stronger. HOWEVER, that only happens if the immigrants work to collectively advance the interests of the country and accept the rules/societal norms of the country they now call home. Instead, they find ways to circumvent/exploit the system - they are less interested on making society better, and more interested in individual advancement. I live in Professors Lake, which historically was one of the more affluent areas of the city. Now, there are several houses on my street that have essentially become boarding houses, divided into units of four with 10+ people living inside. I fully understand why white Canadians are feeling displaced, and it pains me that anti-immigrant sentiment has soured the way people look at me (despite being born in Canada).

Lots of racists that seemingly.only have issues with people who are obviously immigrants vs white European immigrants. I'm white and work with brown people everyday. They're nice, hard working people. Many are willing to do jobs that people born here are unwilling to. They want the Canadian dream. And the people that own the homes and housing should appreciate how they have bid up the value of their homes rather than bash them.

I am East Indian and I think there is too many Indians in this country. Especially the ones that don’t have values and are reckless. But also Indians will work any job where white people wont. After watching this video, and then reading the comments i think I know what the problem is, its RACISM, people just dont like seeing so many people of different color, ofcourse mass immigration will bring a lot of people, in this case it was Indians/pakistanis/bangladeshis, and its true out of so many immigrants some will choose wrong things to do(there are bad fishes in every pond), but isnt it true for everyone, even white people do the same shit, but the issue here which is concerning to everybody why a different race is here, the feel like its no more like canada used to be cuz brown people are here, but they forget white people also immigrated at one point of time to these lands. As a brown person who migrated to Ireland, i can tell you i haven't met, spoken to or hung out with any of the people from my birth country in years. Why? Because, my Irish school mates, my Irish neighbours & Irish colleagues have never made me feel insecure about my color or origins. However in the last five years, some communities like the pakistanis, brazilians & nigerians started creating their ghettos despite the fact that the Irish did not discriminate. They "rule" their ghettos as if they're sovereign territories and do not interact with the Irish, who loves a good banter & socializing. Now the Irish are feeling insecure & one can feel, hear & see the change in attitudes towards immigrants. I fear that in the future i may face the consequences of some other people's decision to stand out instead of mixing. It is quite sad actually!

You havent seen the nasty parts. Of course walking into temple with a camera you will hear advocation for peace. Growing up there you are taught in school that if you are white you are evil from the teachers and the brown students of which outnumber you 20/1 take that mileage and run with it. Many employers and landlords will not even give you a chance unless you are of their faith or from their home region in india or pakistan, and if you are black or white than you shouldnt even bother trying… aint gonna happen. There is a massive entitlement from the younger Sikhs who actively want to see the country become more closer to the punjab with Brampton being the new Lahore. Street violence rarely gets brought up anymore because it is so frequent so media only jumps on it if they got nothing else to use. The majority of gangs are in Bramalea south of Kennedy. This isnt just circumstances because “they have it so hard here boohoo”. The Tamel people that live in Brampton come from India and Sri Lanka. Many fled due to the tigers and because India has been trying to destroy their culture for a long while. You wont find Tamel who has lived in Canada more than a year in a gang, or with a thick as lard accent, or speaking their previous language in public. They are good people, very respectful.

Good video, shows the various viewpoints from new and old Canadians. Some point out legitimate problems with the large influx of people in a short period and issues with integration. Some are just bigoted calling Brampton 'brown town' because all they see is skin colour. Many of the interviewees disparage India but fail to acknowledge it is rapidly advancing recently becoming the 5th biggest economy and on track to be 3rd by 2030.

The issue with Canada is that, when Europeans came here, they didn't integrate with native Indians, didn't accept their traditions/lanuages but brought their own European culture/traditions and languages and named it as a Canadian Culture. The reason why Europenas were able to take over the whole Canada and impose English and French language is that European culture was strong, then brown/black/asian people are moved to Canada and they are brought their own culture/languages, but the brown culture really stood up and sustained because their culture was strong like europeans and more of them are still coming. the history is repeating itself because of politicians in power. People on the both sides are not willing to listen the other side, for example, citizens think that international students are creating the a here, doing cash jobs but they don't see that this coutntry that charged them $9k/term tution fees can't even provide them a job forcing them to work illigally and commit crimes, and on the other side Internation students think that citizens hate us because they are brown but big NO citizens are frustrated because they have no jobs and immigrants are not integrating themselves among other communities. Higher unemployment = higher crime = more = higher division among people, ALL THIS IS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS ALLOWING.

Remember the British stole $44 Trillion from Indians during colonial era. India controlled over a quarter of the world trade before they arrived. India was a bigger economy than US adjusting for inflation. The Industrial revolution was built on back of Indian slaves paying 70 percent taxes to the crown. Canada, UK and Australia were built on this stolen money. They stole money from the Indians and they stole land from the indigenous. This video shows nothing but prejudice. People only have a problem with brown immigrants. I remember 35,000 European immigrants arrived in the city in 2021 even before the Ukraine war and no one cared. Brampton has 27% Indian people so they're clearly not a majority but they are a majorly targeted group because of this prejudice. I don't have the Canadian numbers but in the US 6% of tax comes from Indians and they're 1% of the population. You don't have to trust me you can look it up. The motives of this look racist because when you try hiring white folks the retention rate is extremely low, these past 6 months I have seen 8 employees in managerial positions who quit less than 2 weeks and it's impossible to retain them no matter what salary you offer and then when you go hire an Indian they just don't quit and work harder. But again that's an anecdote, that doesn't mean white folks don't work hard. Everyone has different experiences so stop, putting half baked stuff out on the internet and stop embarrassing yourself. Hard truth. White people became spoiled with their lives. So many would rather live and burn through their desires in their youth than bother with getting married and having children. The drugged and homeless are generally not immigrants but white Canadians, why? Brown families revere family, communal bonds, and dedication/loyal to kin. Will work hard, will be resourceful and they will network very efficiently amongst themselves, whereas Tim, Doug, and Mike from Canada want to drink, frolic, live out their s3xual desires and the few children born to such people end up like these or worse. I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.

I’m worried that, if Canada imports a racial underclass, Canada will become racist in the same way Americans are racist. Right now, the sketchy people, the criminals and the addicts, aren’t so much racially distinct from everyone else. But, if non-white people acquire a collective reputation as unemployed, criminal, poor or otherwise sketchy, whether due to immigration or something else, Canadians (white or non-white) are going to associate racial non-whiteness with low status, sketch, lumpenprol. And once people make that association forms, Canada is going to become a much worse place for all brown people.

Never let yourself be lulled by the comfortable thought that just because you learnt english, got a PhD , worked an honest job , kept a friendly demeanour, people would automatically be nice to you. The world is full of unhappy people who would pounce at the opportunity to pull you down and the easiest way to do this is to attack your skin colour, your accent and your job. \n\nJust keep in mind that if you've been honest to yourself,you don't owe anything to anyone: not respect, not deference, not allegiance. Learn to give it right back. Learn to fight the prejudice in it's own terms. Be prepared for the consequences. And most importantly, never look at your motherland as a last resort. Leave your country for life in a foreign land with a goal to return.

Speaking as an American. A REAL American who stands by our Constitution and the laws of our land and not with a TRAITOR. We do NOT want this. I have always been clueless to how Americans can hear what this traitor says and support it. It reminds me of the movie Shalow Hal. The woman was fat and unattractive but the guy saw this slim beautiful model. This is American right now. We have this Fat Traitor and some Americans see this STRONG Man who is going to make their lives wonderful by hurting all the black and brown people. Right out of the gate he’s telling them all he’s here to hurt and harm every American, but will still hurt and harm black and brown people the most. Many of them will be removed from earth in the largest earth removal since the mid 1930’s. This will end badly for him and all who supports him.
