If the situation was reversed, we were living in an impoverished country and were invited to immigrate to another country with better opportunities, I know damn well Canadians would jump at it, so I can't blame Indians for coming here. As far as I am concerned, if you choose to immigrate to a country, you should follow it's laws. It may have just been one or two Indians who did, but as ambassadors of your country, you are responsible for people's perception of you and hatred directed towards your people as a result of your actions is your responsibility, not our fault.

Even canada, with a relatively strict immigration policy, is having problems. Switzerland, with our t\nvery strict immigration policy, is having problems. Both of these countries love immigrants. It's just that you can't have completely unvetted immigrants coming in. I wish I could invite all the refugees of the world to live in my garden. But they just wouldn't fit. I am a Chinese who has lived in Canada for 20 years, and now the streets are full of Indians. I feel New Delhi. When Chinese are no longer the largest immigrant group in Canada, the social environment in Canada is getting worse and worse, especially the public security is worrying. The basic jobs of local whites have been robbed by Indians, and there are too many homeless people with abnormal mental health who take drugs.

I would respectfully point out that in my opinion the problem is that too many immigrants from one particular culture (in this case, Indians, but it's also the Chinese,) have been allowed in to settle almost entirely in one particular area of a city. In Ontario it's Brampton. In B.C. (where I live) it's Surrey. This stretches Canada's resources, having classrooms almost full of Indian kids who are learning English as a second language. For years we've had to put up with young Indian males street racing in their expensive cars on our cities late at night... to their mothers they are 'princes,' and they act like it and believe they can do exactly as they like. Then there's the issue of how many of their extended family members are also allowed in - resulting in way too many elderly Indians who don't speak a word of English and probably never will, so we have to provide translation services for them in our hospitals and govt. offices. The other issue I have a problem with is there's a tendency with Indians to 'skirt the rules.' There have been a few significant accidents on our highways caused by young Indian male drivers operating huge rigs which they are ill-equipped to drive, which seems to indicate they got their licences fraudulently. There's also been an increase in so-called 'honour killings' (e.g. MURDER!) as well as young girls being subjected to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation.) As an immigrant myself, born and raised in the UK, I'm used to living among Indians, and in fact have always really liked them (and especially their food, which definitely improved the British restaurant scene!) but it's time to limit the numbers. I'm the son of an immigrant and I'm telling you that immigration has gotten out of control. Scrap the all TFW programs, forget just low wage jobs you have PGWP's being hired as financial representatives, insurance brokers, marketing managers, etc... at a host of businesses which are jobs there are TONS of qualified Canadians for or could be easily trained to do allowing them to gain valuable experience to improve their standard of living. The immigration policy in this country is non-functional. The liberal government has no consideration or respect for the constitution or for the country. In general. They are focused only on themselves and how much they can gouge out of the Canadian people by way of taxation. They don't care who lives here or who comes here. They just want the dollars.

As a Jamaican Canadian living here for many years it's getting really hard to survive in this country. Everything is expensive. No work available ?? plus this one-sided immigration policy is killing the country fast fast ⏩

This is ridiculous.. are there only Indian international students who are affected? How come other nationalities don’t cause any ruckus like this? And now you know what happens if you let them stay and give them a PR, imagine they becoming citizens and causing riots as and when things don’t go their way.. they’ve shown you what they really are.. they’re making it difficult for other immigrants too.. some of them live quietly and peaceably and these clowns are destroying it for everyone..

Here is a solution for you go back to India and do it the right way this time! And apply for immigration like I did 22 years ago I had to wait 4 years for my papers to get approved and I got my visa as a skilled worker the moment I landed in Montreal and handed in all my documents to the officers of immigration at the airport I official became a permanent resident and with in one week I got all my medical card and social insurance number and I was even allowed to use my driver licence from country of origin for 3 month till I got a Quebec driving permit I started working as a machinist 3 weeks after I landed and I have been working and living in this amazing oh wait was amazing till Covid hits then the left destroyed every thing good in this country ! End of story !

I feel really sorry for the people who are desperate to find basic security and stability in their lives. However, addressing each case individually is not a solution to the broader issue. The global situation is likely to worsen in the future, and with the increasing rate of illegal immigration, we risk losing the cultural integrity of Europe. I empathize with these people and want to help them, but many carry a hostile ideology, and for some, their only hope for a better future lies in the establishment of Islamic rule. It's a sad and complex situation.

You know why? because rich immigrants who benefited from bribes, money laundrying, illegal business all go to Canada where lacks high competitiveness, such as U.S., so talented and skilled workers can't find a proper well-paid position inside Canada while paying unproportional living expenses. Obviously government benefits from easy money brought abroad. In a nutshell, it's a heaven for the rich.
