There's an infinite supply of them, swamping the poor daft country and a problem is that, more than any other large migrant wave, they look back to their 'homeland' for generations and don't meld well. Even when they get themselves elected to a government position or an important bureaucratic one they go back to India for their triumph. \nMost annoying, though, is the racism implicit in their various competing cultures--most noteworthy in the managed status of women where they are often restricted against canoodling with non-Indian males while the Indian guys suffer no such restrictions. What's to like? No point beating your gums, though. Canadians were always bad at even basic math so, consequently, are now swamped.

In Surrey BC there is a shooting carried out by Indian gangs almost everyday. There is also a massive influx of Indians who simply make zero effort to learn the common language of this country: English. I am a 2nd generation Indian-Canadian, and even I struggle to communicate with these new migrants from India. If you want to come to this country that embraced me and my family as one of their own, you need to accept and embrace their culture and not try to replace it. \n\nAs an Indian Canadian citizen, I fully support deporting any Indian students who have overstayed their student/work visa. They need to go back because they do not love this country.

Most of indian people when they got here they work for cash and driving UBER. So most of the company they hired them because even the salary is too small they gonna grab it.

Look, I'm a white Canadian, and I don't hate Indians at all. However, lately, there are far too many Indians arriving here. I live in a small town, and the vast majority of the workers in all our franchise restaurants, Walmart, hotels, etc, are Indian. Yes, some Indians really have been pooping on the beach. I've seen videos posted by Indians about Indians pooping on beaches in places like Goa. No, not all Indians do that, but it doesn't reflect well on Indians. My next-door neighbours are Indian immigrants, and stereotypically, they own a pizza franchise lol. Their children play at our house with our daughter almost every day. On a negative note, they only hire other Indians to work in their store. In general, the indians that are in Canada do need to work on their cultural integration. My neighbours brought their parents over, and they aren't even trying to learn English. I don't want Canada to become like India. Also, I dont think that most Indian immigrants really want that either, but if we keep flooding Canada with Indians, that will eventually happen.

Trudeau is BS, even during covid times, there were canadians willing to work, but the corporations did'nt want to pay, and lobbied the govt for importing foreign labor. Hence, right now you have a lot of Indians taking up the entry level jobs, who are here as students?... its time to stop the students from taking employment, let them study and return, many students come in on student visa just to work?.. absolutly crazy policy...and now indian students are striking to get PR?.

The recent wave of Indians coming to Canada are NOTHING like the previous ones. They have caused this themselves. I always wanted to visit India but based on the behaviour I have seen by indian newcomers has made me change my mind. Even driving is worse here with all of the aggressive drivers bringing up insurance rates.

Other nationalities that worked with the East Indians complained constantly about working at Amazon with them. People were saying they are the new KKK it's unbearable working with them, especially those for India just passing it on from different locations and there's no one the stand up for the workers because even management is little India and give all the promotions not by credible means but by their own kind.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

We don't hate Indian's, the gov is allowing too many immigrants into Canada when we don't have enough housing to support Canadian's let alone the surplus of new comers. Indian's pooping on beaches is gross, it's bio hazard, please stop, we don't want to step in human feces on our beaches, even other Indian's agree and are embarrassed. It's a fact, crime has surged over the past few decades since the influx of immigrants from all over the world. This is not the same Canada where I grew up, serious crimes were far and few between and now it's daily.

Canadians now are often viewing Indian men (and I stress the word men) as untrustworthy and $ greedy. \n \nSome Indian students have strong ties to Canadians, not most. I bet the protesters with their signs accusing Canadians as being racist don't have such ties, because if they did they would know its horrible to call one of the most tolerant societies in the world racist. \n \nWhy does Canada have to own missteps and make inspiring changes while India doesn't? Diplomatic relations, but only at Canada's expense? \n \nIf Canada keeps the students will they proceed forward honestly? Or will Canada be letting in a wave of demanders and scammers? You tell me? Heck even Indians who immigrated to Canada decades ago don't trust many Indian newcomers. I'd say the problem isn't Indians or any immigrants, but the leeway that the government gives. The government doesn't even 'force' people to integrate. Yeah, all parties suck, but Trudeau made it worse. And also, just in recent years the policies are bad.

I live in Canada, all these problems are true and also health care system is not that good and high taxes…..However, life feels secured as food, environment and roads quality is AAA grade. You can actually achieve dreams as jobs pay good, even though you can to spend in dollars but remember macbook will cost 1.25 lakh and $2000 in Canada but there is huge difference in income, same goes for cars which translates that normal middle class family can have cars like Mercedes, audi and BMW which is not achievable in India. It’s safe country you can have whatever opinions you want, women can dress whatever they want and go out anytime without being worried. Canadian here with what I hope is a level headed view.\n\nI would say that the biggest issue and problem is to be laid at the Liberal Party's feet. Both Canadians and Indians are Pawns in a political game of Chess. Trudeau and his administration are using the Imagination community for votes. This also means that so as not to offend Immigrants new to the country, Canadian ways, traditions, lifestyles, ect. are targeted by the Liberal government.\n\nAs an example, If I went anywhere in the Middle East, I would be expected to respect and adhere to the laws and traditions of the country I am in. BUT, here in Canada, it is becoming no longer acceptable to celebrate our heritage, traditions or even holidays as it might offend Immigrants.\n\nThat's an idea as to the bigger picture.\n\nThe smaller picture is stupid things like an Immigrant the his or her diet doesn't allow the ingestion of Pork/Ham/Bacon.... but say orders a Bacon Cheese Burger then makes a scene because he or she isn't allowed to eat pork... and eventually is given the meal for free. Or in one case the restaurant offered to pay for the entire meal in which the 5 immigrants at the table drank $350 in Alcohol. Yes I have witnessed both. \n\nThere are also cultural issues which cause friction. The language barrier being one major. Especially when an Immigrant tries to claim he or she cannot speak the English or French but holds a valid Driver's license. The license could not be held if the individual doesn't speak English or French. \n\nRegardless, individual issues are small when confronted with a government that treats everyone as Pawns.

My Indian parents came to Canada from Dubai in the early 80s and I grew up in Canada. The problem is, the Indians coming to Canada now are not the immigrants who used to come here. 20- 50 years ago, when immigrants came to Canada, they understood that they are moving to a new country with different laws, values and culture and they have to assimilate accordingly because they planned to call Canada home. To get into Canada, you had to have some level of higher education or investment means to help develop and add to the economy. But now, over the last 10-15 years, the kind of people coming in are straight out of the villages (mainly north Indians), with no education, low societal values, no care for assimilating and are even criminals who were wanted in India. By using Canada's study permit program, hundreds of thousands of Indians came here with the explicit plan to stay and never go back. To make matters worse, they feel now that they are in Canada, they can break the rules, break the laws and commit heinous crimes. If you look at the Toronto news now, it is ONLY Indians (mainly Punjabi's) committing most of the crimes from extortion to drug dealing to carjacking etc. Even the Indo Canadian community can't stand the people coming to Canada over the last few years, it is NOT a race issue! The issue is too many people from a different culture who don't assimilate!

75% of those indian students don't even have a genuine degree from Indian universities, they use fake degrees and get visa for further education in Western countries, they have no skills, no civic sense and they complaint they are facing racism, these are mainly from Punjab and Haryana state of India which is very unsafe for women, these states are full of illiterate and uncivilized people where drugs and gangs flourish, being an Indian myself I find it funny how they get visa for studies when they have not studied in India at all ????

Approximately 80 percent of the Indian students coming to Canada are actually the silt of Indian society. They are not good even in India, forget about being the creamy layer. It would do a lot of good to Canada to send them back; otherwise, they would become an invasive virus for Canadian society. Yes, stereotyping all Indians would be equally harmful. Most of them are wonderful and intelligent and contribute significantly to Canadian society and economy.

As a tourist to Canada I noticed a big culture clash. While Canadians over use the word “sorry,” Indians did not think twice about jumping ahead of a line and pushing people away to make space for their own family — even before that family arrives. Indians have a great and ancient civilization, but that is not an excuse for disrespecting the Canadian one.

This is because the government doesn’t care about their talents they have in their own country and as citizens put them first instead ask them to go abroad and study and settle down there… Is this because they don’t have good quality universities in India? See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. No disrespect I am just saying from someone who was born in Canada and whose parents grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were all born in Canada how we feel the way our country is being disrespected. I have Indians living right beside me and they are nice people I even share my parking lot with them cause they have no parking were they live in that apartment building so we don't hate Indians but we do hate Trudeau

Indians scoop up work, housing, and whole communities to give to other Indians. They are separating what's is good culture and codes from Canadians by implementing bad work practices. Also, we don't even date eachother or see inclusive actions as such. Indians remain in their culture and push Canadians out of theirs.

Many who come were clearly NOT properly vetted as they are dangerous criminals. Most of the “students” have no intention of returning to India and came to stay indefinitely & feel entitled to do so. Crazy !!!

It’s not just about respect of Canadian values and culture. It’s about intégration which simply cannot be achieved in high numbers, because birds of a feather flock together.
