What a great discussion and personal commentary from a fellow shocked and saddened Canadian who happens to be white male christian and a bunch of other labels our government has forced upon us. I don’t have all the same view points exactly - it MOSTLY!!! Good luck to you and your family. Allah be with you.

Surprised at the exact count of illegal immigrants being quoted. Meaning, there was someone documenting/ witnessing this crossing. \nAnd who the f*ck is uk to question and get involved. The brits should deal with their own shit first
2024-09-02 0
You guys voted left wing woke culture and that means no values no principles no nothing so deal with that but obviously you guys don’t want to deal with the mess that yourselves created so let’s go somewhere else and make that place exactly the same crap hole that we left behind.

This was the limit before Covid...A student visa is exactly for studying\nWorking 24 hours per week while studying postsecondary is actually reasonable

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Getting immigration back to sensible levels of skilled workers in the next step, and not just massive amounts of one culture. Diversifying the diversity. Check out this guy, he knows exactly what is going on -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MniiCsKH1dQ

Fun Fact: Canadians are so nice. There are never “international students”. Everybody knows which country they come from and what they want exactly.

This Is the exact same concept as pollution in the environmental economics. An ecosystem has a certain capacity to assimilate pollutants. If that capacity Is surpassed, that leads to damage to the environment.

The reason why it's increasingly more expensive to live now is mostly due to Covid. Worldwide, aproximately 1.7 TRILLION USD was given to corporations after Covid, and almost none of the money has returned to the governments, because well... they didn't plan for it to happen. The rich have gotten richer and the middle class have gotten poorer. When giving away so much money, there is bound to be inflation. The money was used to invest by the rich, buying mostly properties, which is why property prices are skyrocketing. There are so many apartments, particularly in Canada, where nobody lives, because there are so many rich investors buying properties. This phenomenon is not restricted to Canada, but most other large cities in western countries.\n\nYou might think the grass is greener in other parts of the world, but it literally isn't. I live in Norway, one of the richest countries in the world, and the situation is exactly the same here. Everything is getting more expensive, salaries stay stagnant and our currency is absolutely dogshit at the moment due to a failure of basic economics by our government and the central bank. Our oil fund, the wealthiest fund in the world, is actively making trades against our own national currency to make money, but they are making the currency itself worse, thereby reducing the value of it. The value of the oil fund evens out, but it lowers the purchasing capacity for everyone else. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. \n\nPeople would chop off a limb to get a passport in Canada. It is, as you said, a relatively safe place to come home to. There aren't too many countries like that in the world, and you are fortunate. I would advice you to reconsider moving abroad. Sure, Canada has many problems, but I can guarantee you, that living elsewhere in the world at this point is not going to ease your grievances unless you live a very frugal life.

Canada's International student program was exploited by those whose real intention were to become economic migrants. Agents in India who signed them up to many bogus collages lied to them and said that it was a path to Canadian citizenship, which what totally false. This loophole caused the number of International students to increase from 230,000 a year to over 850,000, with most of those causing the dramatic increase to be from India. Indians scamming other Indians, exactly like in India. The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau was incompetent in allowing this fraudulent behaviour to continue too long and it's why this whole mess happened. About 500,000 young Indians wasted their money and should have never come to Canada in the first place.

I am unable to catch you guys....for what exactly you are upto...Abhi and niyu???

I’m in Canada for past 2 years. Despite its negatives what I appreciate the most is work life balance and women’s safety. Life is difficult for international students but for those who come here with PR or jobs it’s a little better for them. Anti India sentiments are mostly among Khalistanis. There is absolute logic for non Khalistani Canadians to not like Indians- the quality of people who have been coming here are not exactly the ‘brains’ and crème de la crème of India. They lack basic etiquette and civic sense and have been caught shoplifting, evading fares on public transit. We have no one to blame other than ourselves for this. Otherwise Canadians are very polite and friendly to immigrants. I’ve never had strangers holding doors to public places open for me back in India which I have experienced here.
2024-08-30 0
I stay in Canada and you have depicted exactly same things happening here ! Thank you
2024-08-30 0
Seriously Indians don't come to Canada or Australia (the situation is exactly the same). The economies are going backwards. Good luck finding a place to live. The cost of living is sky high. You will struggle to find a job and will most likely end up driving ubers. There is far more opportunity in India. Stay home and build your own country instead of running off to someone else's.
2024-08-29 0
First off, you are not 'Indian ' my friend, you are rather east Indian or say Bharatiya to be exact. Indians are natively born Northern or southern Americans from certain tribes like Inuait, Metias or Ojibways.\nMake your facts correct first. We Canadians do not hate Indians, we love Indians.\nWe hate East Indians

Exactly there are no jobs and nowhere to live Canadians first sorry. Crazy 8 living in an house how about living on the street and winter is coming!!
2024-08-28 0
My mom and I had this exact conversation today. I was born and raised here, but my mom immigrated to canada when she was 18. I don't blame anyone for leaving this country.
2024-08-28 0
Basically, Canada is following the same self-destructive choices Europe have done in the last decades. The results are exactly the same. What a shame!
2024-08-28 0
The liberals knew exactly what they were doing when they changed the rules on immigration and temporary foreign workers. They just weren’t sure how long they could get away with it , now that an election is next year , they are trying to get back up in the polls.
2024-08-28 0
Which Indians does it mean exactly I only know the real Indians from out west
2024-08-28 0
Study permit issued for 1 year after that go home that was always the deal so what exactly are they protesting

“Ô Canada”... like e.g. Belgium, one of those “unnecessary countries”. Canada would never have happened if the American military officers who won the Revolutionary War of Independence against the decrepit British crown had not become incompetent degenerates and still had had their touch in 1812. But nowadays America is no better than Canada... it’s probably even worse. So if you speak more than the primitive “kitchen Russian” typical of most USSR / FSU immigrants, Russia could be exactly the place for you. Because like Canada and Belgium, the Ukraine is also basically an “unnecessary country”, or at least one that’s “too big for its britches”. And if recent events are any indication it’s about to get somewhat - perhaps a lot - smaller. So depending on where your ancestors came from, you might even be able to settle in your историческая родина... kinda cool!

This sounds EXACTLY like the UK, almost as if it's planned. I'm nomadic too and have been for 5 years and feel the exact same way about my home, the UK. I have decided I will probably retire or spend my older years somewhere in South east asia.

Exactly

The oublic services will tell the government exactly what they need to to keep getting funding...duh!!!

The Landlord/Tenant laws continue to increase the disadvantage towards landlords. Tenants not paying rent for months and months and months being allowed to continue to live in the property is beyond ridiculous. Many of these tenants are completely aware of how to game the system, and the laws. The most recent changes did nothing to increase protection for landlords but did the exact opposite, making it close to impossible to evict a tenant without giving them a big payday.
2024-08-26 0
They didnt turn a blind eye to the problem, they knew exactly what they were doing and did not care.
2024-08-26 0
They knew exactly what they’re doing. Create a crisis then come in like they’re the saviours to “fix” it. Too late, damage is done, no going back, they’re laughing their @sses off behind closed doors at screwing Canadians once again. I’ve never seen a government openly hate its citizens this way. But it’s happening in Europe and UK also .. *almost* as though it were a coordinated attack ..
2024-08-26 0
Exactly what Pierre Poilievre was saying first . Stolen by Trudeau who created the problem in the first place
2024-08-26 0
The program requires that the exact job be placed on the Canadian job bank for 1 month with no valid applications. Jobs are under minimum wage but are supplemented with housing. Now living in a mobile home 3 men to a bedroom making 13/h for 40 or more hours a week might not sound like a good job to you but it still needs to be done if you dont want the price of food to go up even more
2024-08-25 0
But what are you actually doing? Exactly. \n\n3:28 The Saudis have chosen their allies.
2024-08-25 0
Im Canadian, moved to Taiwan in 2004. Never looked back. All the problems i hear now from canadians is the exact opposite here. Life is pretty easy, excellent services, fast and cheap in all sectors. I hope it gets better soon fir my fellow Canadians, though i have no idea how
2024-08-25 0
this is exactly why I refuse to give my retail buying dollars to immigrant run business - Hudson's bay company, McDonald's, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, delivery food.
2024-08-25 0
Its not just Canada its the whole Western world im in Australia and its exactly the same..politicians and the so called elite class is to blame for this mess while the rest of us suffer the consequences
2024-08-25 0
In My state of maharashtra,India. They are opening german language centres in every district. For exactly this reason.
2024-08-24 0
Has it ever occurred to all the right wingers in the comments that the laws governing Canada's treatment of refugees are pretty standard and comparable to the rest of the civilized world? That they exist EXACTLY for people like this man? Or do you just have a complete hate-on for anyone who isn't white? ?
2024-08-24 0
Isn’t it crazy that the government is allowing illegal migrants to go to the same exact city that was boomed by TERRORIST
2024-08-23 0
From Ontario. I live in the GTA, so that exactly in Toronto, but nearby a lot of tourist attractions and somewhat near the boarder. It actually isn't that cold, but wheatear can change pretty drastically. One day its burning hot outside, the next its windy as hell.
2024-08-23 0
The medias problem is they never show the exact video.they always cut and edit the video and then give us
2024-08-22 0
Ireland, UK, Australia, Canada.\nAll the exact same “problems”.\nThis is all by design.\nComplaining to the people (your government) that profit from this, is pointless.\nMASS PROTESTS.\nAre the only solution.

I’m in the exact same mindset and I too am leaving. I’m the same as to you with the process and I’m excited. I’m excited for you as I know the roller coaster of emotions that are in your journey.

It's not exactly an immigration problem. More like an illegal immigration problem. People are coming in illegally, and the country has to take in more people than it can handle. No proper housing, jobs or infrastructure to support a huge number of people.
2024-08-20 0
Im sure the locals will fall in lovewith this gang.its exactly what youre leaders are feeding.
2024-08-20 0
Typical. I bet it was because of Covid and the laziest of our society took advantage. The ones who do this in my country today look exactly the same. Funny that.
2024-08-20 0
exactly..
2024-08-19 0
Canada is a decrepit land of desperation now. And when it comes to Indians raiding the food bank, I've seen it myself. On my bus ride to work, it stops by a food bank, and virtually 100% of the crowd taking all the food is Indian, with bags full of food. And that's just what I've seen with my own eyes.\n\nSo why exactly are we importing a population that is working low skill jobs, and shamelessly taking food from our food banks? Feels very wrong
2024-08-18 0
Yes when you give free entry to the mass immigrants, this is exactly what happens.
2024-08-18 0
Liberals got exactly what they voted for. Congrats ? y'all played yourselves ?
2024-08-18 0
it's NOT free, after all taxes combined on an annual basis I'm paying around 60% taxes, carbon taxes, pst, gst, luxury taxes on cars over 50 k, all manner of hidden taxes, no health care is definitely not free. My health care plan in the US was 155 a month, my share, employer paid the rest, a good plan. But I took home 22% more of my income, which is massive on an annual basis, I was very rich down there, coming back to Canada it's sad, give the government all that money for what exactly? Can't think of one thing I ask the government for, but you know I'm self reliant, so self reliant people don't thrive in Canada. If I had lived in the US my whole life, same job/income I would be living a life multiples better than Canada.

My dad was Canadian. I grew up believing Canada would be my go-to if things ever fell apart in the US. No more. I know exactly how you feel.
