Pakistanis could visit the Taj Mahal, and Indians could experience Lahore's old markets—all without the need for passports and visas.\n\n\n5. Imagine the beautiful sight of Ganpati Visarjan on Karachi beach, celebrating with the same joy as we do in Mumbai. We already have so many mosques across India, so all faiths would have a home.\n\n\n\nAnd my favorite thought: India and Pakistan together would have the strongest cricket team, with fast bowlers, skilled batsmen, and the best of talent playing as one.\n\nFrom an Indian perspective, some people might ask why we would want this—why merge with a country that has been under military control since 1958? There’s concern about extremist groups, the instability Rawalpindi brings, and whether Pakistan could ever embrace the same religious harmony that India enjoys. In Indian cantonments, people of all faiths celebrate each festival together—could Pakistan someday share this unity and respect for diversity?\n\nOn the Pakistani side, many feel merging isn’t practical. They believe it would only create more problems with a larger population, and cultural differences might make it difficult. They worry about job competition, about religious fanatics clashing, and about how their way of life might change.\n\nI know this dream may sound foolish to some, but I believe nothing is impossible if both sides truly want it. History shows that countries have overcome their divisions.\n\nI don't know why, but I just wanted to share these thoughts. I don’t want to get into the blame game over who caused the partition; I only dream of a future where understanding, peace, and mutual respect guide us all.

This is an everyday reality: even the comments under this video prove that racism is being normalized. Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students . Even as a Born Canadian my parent came from India back in the 80s\nDon’t want to live with Indians . That came from India in 2024 they are rude to girls on the bus have no shame . Before the people come they at least new basic English and got usto the way of living the new once they don’t even know basic English and don’t have any common sense how they pass is beyond me . India should remember the west will stick together..they are definitely trying to coerce Indian govt to do something that they dont want to do? My parents immigrated to Canada in the early 1980’s and both of my parents work 50hrs/week to have a house and send 3 kids to university. We are the second generation and we have a much better life. I have Australia friends who move here (Montreal ) last summer and they finally bought a condominium instead of renting coz they always dream to be owner which was very hard in their city. Everyone situation is different. But thinking Canada is a affordable country is a big misunderstanding.

Grass is always greener on the other side. US has more violent crime, school shootings, homeless, drugs, and inaccessible health care. I have a good job and a good life here, I feel secure. Yes, there are things I don't like as well, that's why I earn in Canada and travel extensively to get the best of all countries.\n\nAnd finally, the reason real estate is so expensive in Canada is because of how many people want to live here. It's obvious – if Canada stopped being one of the top immigration destinations, real estate would stop growing in value so much.

I grew up in Toronto and love going back often because I get to visit the neighborhood and bump into old friends, the variety of food is fantastic, there is lots you can do with theatre. Beautiful parks, Center Island, CNE, pubs…I can go on and on. \nThe negativity about Toronto is one sided because some people might not have had a good experience or the timing wasn’t great post COVID. That happened all over the world. \nSo my final comment, visit Toronto, soak in the culture and different activities. ?
