If the excuse is don't do this because of health care then when will the right time be? Canada's health care has been at dangerous levels for OVER 30 YEARS! Always working at or near peak with long wait times. Maybe in 30 more years this will be fixed?\n\nHousing is a problem because no one builds affordable housing. The system is fully corrupt. When you hear that 500k houses have been built...then odds are 99% of those were NOT affordable housing. Meanwhile well over 50% of Canadians REQUIRE affordable housing. So how many more years will it take to fix this problem when we're not even trying to address it?

Some of them come , right after grade 12 only one thing in their mind to get immigration! Most of them come to get same degree management or hospitality managing hotels ! These degrees don’t get them anywhere ! They all want live Vancouver Toronto no one wants to go to Manitoba Saskatchewan and up North ! People open up private colleges,have little room to teach them on line classes ! Money grab ! No one give them right information before they leave their country! We got not many skill student only business digress! Student from Indian love to get their PAR ! It cost them too much money to get here, but then they have to work hard to pay for their fees , or they have to buy work permit , it cost 35 to 50 thouesd to buy work permit as long as they work for same people for two year, not making that much money ! One issue you did not talking about is the international students taking the Canadian universities space from the Canadian citizen students. Especially for doctorate degrees canada government allowed only 3% of Canadian student to enter to this program the same as for dentist, laws and other this is unjust, and discrimination against the canadine citizen students after all those international students are not Canadian citizen and their English languish is the second languish, why a Canadian citizen student have to go to USA or other countries and pay doubles fees in order to get in to those programs. \nI want the government canada in order to make it right approving 97% of Canadian student application for those programs in all universities in canada and only 3% application for international students. This will resolve the discrimination issue, the houses crises, and the shorter of Canadian citizen doctor’s in canada. ??

I was so surprised when I got off a flight from Amsterdam. There were people right beyond the gate corralling what looked like South East Asian students to get them ready to go to immigration. And there must have been at least 30-40 people in a line forming. If that happens with one flight or a few inbound flights. This must be happening throughout the day, every day. I had never seen that type of thing before.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. As a Torontonian born and raised here it’s had a couple shifts in feel over the past decades. Around the mid 90s, there was an increase of gun violence, crime and theft in the city which caused my family to move out to the burbs. I moved back during the 2009 recession for higher education at one of the institutions downtown. At that time, there wasn’t much violence at all. We went out til the wee hours of the morning from Fashion district (Queen and Richmond) to Honest Eds (Bathurst and Bloor), to Yonge and Dundas square. There were still some homeless people then, but fast forward to now, it’s gotten aggressive. Instead of the homeless people keeping in their camps, but now, they have been displaced, are angry, mental health issues are rampant and incidents can happen anywhere. I think we have the right mayor in place now to make some positive changes for the social issues in the city and I am optimistic that we can get it cleaned up over time. For now though, I agree with the sentiment, come for a visit, but maybe skip out on living here until the social issues get sorted. You always have to keep an eye on the back of your head these days.

Real estate in Australia is expensive because the nation is highly successful and ordinary citizens are wealthy, and this includes real estate, plus with 3 billion middle class Asian's right above Australia the Asian economy dwarfs the US economy to insignificance. Job opportunities are dictated by the fields the economy needs - oil is insignificant in Australia compared to other industries. Geographic Isolation - Thank god the rest of the world is far away, as an Australian I wish it was further away. Air fares prior to pandemic were reasonable USA to Australia around $800 return - but this guy lives in Perth so to go 4-5,000km to the east coast will be expensive - on the east coast a one way ticket to another city can be had for around $50 to $80 - Again for Australians proximity to the US market is not significant we are focused on the Asian region. Natural beauty anywhere is amazing but I prefer a warm climate over a frozen one - The Canadian population is all centered around the US/Canadian border region the rest of Canada like central Australia is vastly empty. In conclusion I find many immigrants want to move from Australia to Canada is proximity to the USA but for Australians the US market or lifestyle is not attractive or important.

And Islam is not really compatible with Canadian values. For the sake of your children it will be better to raise them in an Islamic country. If I am not an oldie, I would leave canada as well. This country is not what it is used to be. Also, I think the opportunity is very limited here as jobs wise or for invested in business wise. This country is only good for oldies with money to move in . Cause at least the air is fresh, the living pace is slow, so you can walk a lot slower. As for young one, the opportunity is very limited. You guys can consider Dubai as one of your options. It is so safe here. Awesome education for kids with islamic and Arabic subjects along with all the other modern curriculum. We Love dubai. Never had any problem in having halal food, zero security related issues, zero racism. Well balanced work and life, moderate inflation but you never really can feel it. In short, its an ideal place to live and raise your kids here. Alhamdulillah. We also decided long time back to move to Canada or New Zealand but the brought up of our kids was the biggest reason that we never did it. I am not Muslim, Christian by tradition, not religious. I am an immigrant in the U.K. for over 30 years and this is my pint of view… One common remarkable characteristic of us, all immigrants, is the fact that we will always criticise the country we are living in, due to the fact that we will always miss our origins, no matter how good or bad both countries are, and most of us subconsciously live our lives waiting for that settlement of living in the perfect place, ideally our original place of birth with all the positives according to the way we think, act and believe. If a country opens its borders to Palestinian refugees, they facilitate Israel’s objective of flattering Gaza and ethically cleansing the land to allow for further expansion and illegal settlement. On second thought, your parents moved to a heavily Christian country. When you are the guest, you should assimilate and not try to force your religion. We do have a bunch of muslim communities in Australia (the one's I've seen are in Sydney region) and I have heard the call to prayer, but it isn't a widespread thing. We also have schools which have predominantly hijab-wearing students (I think it was a girl's school in Sydney). But racism is unfortunately something that is common here. I wish it wasn't, because everyone deserves the right to respect and living in peace, its the most basic human right. Also as someone who socialises a lot with the lgbt and drag community I so respect your right to parent your kids as you choose. I have things I would teach my kids, and so do you. Hoping you all find the most comfy and safe home in the future.

The reason behind all these factors except the last one is socialism. No matter if comes from the right or the left. But a decade of government under Trudeau's policies only made it worse. I am here 10 years. One thing that was really shocking to me was how many people were sheeple right when the pandemic happened. LOVE to listen to what they are told to do! People refused to socialize and try to reach out. Young people. Well guess what? That was the beginning of bad news. I also have been surprised at the amount of people who assume all Americans are like Trump and have messed up attitudes towards Americans. I am looking forward to a better Canada.
