Canada is the next India, the moment an Indian becomes Manager or job on recruitment or hiring, you can forget about working at the company if you're Black, White, Asian. this is becoming an issue so bad that i have a feeling this could spark a fight.

I am an Indian American sent to work in the USA; I feel Indian students after getting a Canadian education, should return back to India, if there are NO jobs in Canada; Canada does not owe them jobs.

They offered IMMIGRATION to get working young families who already had education, skills and professions without investing a penny or offering help. Those Immigrants have to pay couple of thousand dollars to apply for immigration and have to prove that they have enough money until they find jobs.. They can’t claim welfare for few years either. By choice many Europeans don’t want to come to Canada. If not for those immigrants who work the aging population couldn’t have got pension.\n\nMUST ABSORB WHITE CANADIAN CULTURE ? English, German, Polish,Austrian, French , Spanish, Russian, Irish, Scottish, Greek, Italian, Turkish. ……..? WHICH ONE ?\nWhen Whites went to Anywhere. In Asia, Africa, Middle East , America, Canada and Australia did they absorb those cultures?\nDid they even ask for permission or get visas ?\nDid they not kill , massacre , rape ,torture and abused natives of those continents?\nDidn’t. I was born and raised in brampton. I am now 41 years old. When i was 20 i remember when the indians started to come into brampton they were taking our jobs because they would work for minium wage without benefits. Then they stated to buy the houses and bring in their families they had like 10 to 20 people living in one house, so only needing to work for minium wage they were able to purchase the houses faster. Then the stores started opening up and theis is when i left. Brampton was the best place in ontario to live (close to everything, small enough to feel like a town but yet big enough that it had everything available) \nNow its a shit hole

Eh, you are sticking it with your knives but not killing the beast. Ok, things that make a country richer actually has more to do with what people consider beneficial. A different culture is actually seen as a barrier if the benefits are not immediately seen. The appearances along wages war on the mind. Suddenly you feel underpaid to put up with this. I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. They don't worked very hard, they are rude, they have no respect for other nationalities, racist as fuck, and the list goes on. I have been living in Canada for 34 years and I have never once felt isolated. Now, I feel like Canada has become India. I'm sorry, Trudeau have turned this Canada into a 3rd world Country. I missed Canadians! I don't have an issue with immigrants at all; as I am an immigrant myself from the Carribean. However, I have always respected Canadian culture and their laws. I'm sorry, India is the number one hated Country on the planet as we speak. England, Australia, & many other countries are not allowing Indian students to enter anymore. The proof is in the pudding! They are just bringing all their bad habits wherever they go. So it's not only Canada that's fed up, there are lots of Countries that cannot stand their attitude and erratic behavior. They have very low standards if you ask me.\n\nI can't wait for the day to see Canadians working the fast food &service industry again. No offense, but I rather be served by Canadians than Indians. Yes I was, after Trump got elected no. Disabled human rights are horrible here and as compensation for lawsuits can be capped in cases that is unlikely to change. I should state the government had to pay me $25,000 dollars for violating my rights (this cost me $35,000+ in legal fees!) so I know of what I speak. It was the same when I moved provinces. In terms of mobility my fate was better in the 4 third world countries I visited after my stroke, there are no busses in loads of places here as we can’t “afford” them. Also I should state the government tried to make me site an NDA that would not allow me to state their behaviour, this should be illegal where government money is concerned! On to health care…. Why do disabled people struggle to get a family doctor when they move provinces? Also why did the mother of a Ukrainian disabled kid have to go back to a country that had been invaded to get help for her child that was having convulsions? She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. Yes there are a lot of good Canadians but this situation has become much worse and Canadians are masters at ignoring things. There is a Ukrainian flag flying from my cabin not a Canadian one. We are NOT the 51st state and will never be but I’ve been made to feel betrayed

The Canadian Government doesn’t care. Most Canadian politicians are home owners and have investments in the Canadian housing market. In Australia you need to pay 45% income tax plus 2% medical Levy surcharge\n3. High cost of living? I think the cost of living in London of UK and Sydney of Australia are also exceptionally high. The cost of living affordability depends on the income of the migrants. Low income working class will feel the cost of living and housing pressure. But this applies to all countries, including SF of US, Toronto of Canada, Sydney of Australia, London of UK\n4. Rise in crime: I do not understand this logic as the migrants left Canada to US - the city of LA, New York, Seattle and Chicago are far worse than in Canada \n5. Limited Career opportunities: the only country that has better career opportunities is US. What are the main reasons for those who are not migrating to US?\n\nIn summary, all the above points are not the main reasons. The main reason is the liberal government. Canada had taken a large number of wrong low end migrants in wrong time. When the economic downturn turn comes these are the most vulnerable group of people that should leave Canada.\n\nMany Canadian found that they resolved some of the problems by relocating from city to city ie moved from Vancouver to Calgary. Cheaper house price and cost of living, lower crime rate,etc

So India's trying to control its overpopulation by sending plenty of them to Canada as if it were a dumping ground. The same fate would be expected with the US and Australia as well. Travelling to one of these countries, even as a tourist, will make feel anyone like they're in India 2.0, just disgusting.

I don't think that the comments that you are looking at are intended to be harsh, but I do think that they do reflect the honest experiences and feelings (without malice) of those Canadians that tried to adjust to life in the US.

I can't help but feel there is a entirely biased narrative going on here the problem with the pandemic is that it left people who had some mental issues. I bet too much time on the internet and unfortunately fell down the rabbit hole of a lot of Russian push propaganda and that's what I'm feeling here. You're talking about taxes and not benefiting yet. I'm sure you've gone to the hospital several times and are not $300,000 in debt from a month stay the part of having benefits like that. + A decent social net is paying taxes you can look at the Philippines as a place that's as corrupt and remove social services and can see what happens there when there is a disaster. The only aid that comes in is through international charities or expats donating you'll be moving to Bulgaria and you'll notice that European taxes are pretty much on par with Canadians You're far too young to be buying into Trump russian-backed propagandab and I'm hoping with whatever's happened you personally and proves so your judgment can as well too. It's truly heartbreaking to witness how things have unfolded between two countries that were once united. I often listen to the stories my grandparents shared, about the peaceful times when they lived in hawalis, surrounded by neighbors who were Hindus, and how they used to cherish the old crockery they brought from Shampura. Those were simple, yet beautiful days, filled with a kind of peace that seems unimaginable today. \n\nI often dream of visiting those places just to reconnect with those memories, but unfortunately, the divide created by the elites in both countries makes it feel impossible. The seeds of hatred have now grown into a tree, and it feels like that tree is spreading, threatening to become a forest. Our elders still remember how the politicians have always manipulated us to keep us divided, but the younger generation has no idea of the harmony we once shared.\n\nCan you even imagine if we could see peace between India and Pakistan in our lifetime? I came to Saskatchewan Canada as an international student in fall 2023. I did a care assistant program and was attracted to coming to Canada because I kept hearing that there is a labour shortage in healthcare in Canada. However I feel like everything just started going to sh*t in 2024 when I was finishing up my program ?.\n\n One of the things I'd like to highlight about the small towns is that they can be very biased in their hiring practices. Some of us as (black) students had a hard time getting jobs in healthcare in the town because jobs were given based on family and friend linkages (so mostly white or Filipino people got hired). Also there was a severe housing shortage. So even though locals (from my perception) wanted us to stay and work in healthcare (because they are short staffed), realistically there was no where to stay. Canada can't say it wants people in more rural areas and not improve housing in those areas as well. I have honestly been rather disappointed with Canada because I expected better planning from a developed country.

Every time I go to Upstate New York, I feel like I'm in Canada of 50 years ago. Unless you are near the army base and then it looks like Mexico.

Hey buddy, I feel like you get a lot of grief from Canadians about negative issues with Americans so I thought you might like this: Many years ago my friend and I drove into Rochester NY from Lake Erie Ontario. We stopped at a Starbucks and when it came time to pay the batista looked at my pink money like it was monopoly money. Since they didn't accept Canadian currency, they gave us our coffees for free. Pretty decent American politeness if you ask me.
