Great video and content but what’s up with the staccato robotic style of talking? It sounds like a bot, not a human. Am I the only one?

What I liked about this video is the explanation associated with the problem. For example why politicians are reluctant to allow construction of new houses, reason for monopoly in market. Mostly people only talk about symptoms and not real reasons behind those symptoms. Worthy to watch video.

Would you mind if I ask something odd like you provide the sources of your information?. I kind of expected to see them in the description of this video, but it's kind of empty.

I got half way into this video and couldn't stop laughing. You are talking about inadequate housing construction. It is absurd to claim that local governments here are not permitting new housing projects. I live in Yaletown in Vancouver and am an avid cyclist. I ride all over the city and post vids of my ride on my YT channel. If you watch any of those, you will quickly realize that construction projects are ongoing throughout the city. You will also see lots of sign board notices along the Cambie and Oak St. corridors of future construction projects. I am an old guy and lived here my whole life. Vancouver has never seen construction like this before.

I'm going to say my opinion as an immigrant, I lived in France (for a while) and one of the reasons I saw people leave this country was family, I'm originally from Colombia and here life with family is extremely important, so when you go to build a new life where you have nothing, you have to build from 0, and of course you're on your own, It's not as simple as you might think, most people I know in France can't do that, they just can't leave their country, they love their country, unfortunately for people like me, immigration is the only option we have, i like my country but i don't had option i had to leave, so I think that's a very good point to consider, people fall alone, immigration is not for everyone. \n \nThank you for your video.

Hey interesting video, my advice to you is to stop promoting BetterHelp like most youtubers, they're being sued in a class action for selling information to third parties. Your medical information is NOT KEPT CONFIDENTIAL

The video falls short. The legal system is just as broken as the health system and education has turned into indoctrination.\n\nBut most important is that there is no freedom of expression. The govt. has frozen innocent people's bank accounts with no court order just because they did not align with govt's ideology. There's also active persecution of people that criticize govt. and there's higher than ever govt. corruption.\n\nIf you have kids, the govt. promotes gender transition and as a parent you have no power to even delay—let alone stop—your kid from following irreversible medical procedures.\n\nIn short, Canadian govt. treats you badly and is looking for new ways to invade people's privacy, like implementing CBDC and a social credit system.\nAnyone who does their homework will not consider Canada a place to live in.

Another Canadian here. Yes video is correct. Just missing one detail: it’s people who are rejecting increased density of housing in places like Toronto, fearing “devaluation” of their homes, correct. And VERY SELFISH of them. But there’s a lot of red tape as well. The government has abandoned public housing for 40 years and now we’re paying the price. It has been long coming.

Well I will tell you that I am an immigrant with Canadian citizenship, I have been living in Canada for almost 12 years, and I have decided to leave Canada to live permanently in my home country Peru. The reasons why I will leave Canada are mainly the extremely high cost of life (the rent mainly) I have lived in Toronto for almost 7 years and until now I am renting rooms because it's the only space I can afford with my current salary. The other reason is the health care service, as the lady in the video mentioned, I have been in the waiting list for 2 years to see an specialist and until now nothing. I got used to the weather, the people, the snow, I have my own car but it's sucking me almost CAD$1000 per month among monthly payments, gasoline and insurance. While in Lima Peru the cost of life is almost a third part of what it's here. The food is cheap and the quality is high (everything is organic in Peru). I will keep my Canadian job and work remotely from Lima and I will live like a king¡¡¡¡¡, I miss the food, the beaches, the amazing social life and with my Canadian passport I will be able to travel anywhere in the world once a year ..... now that's what I call living the life .... I am so excited¡¡¡

Basically you sound a lazy person, who doesn't like doing household chores, and they can never settle in America. . Anyways 2.5 months is nothing to judge a country , I have lived 22 yrs in America, 10 in ?? and 12 yrs in Canada, and no comparison with India, in terms of corruption, general social behavior discipline and law abiding society., which Canada is. If you move away from your home country, it takes half the time of your actual age to understand, & get used to the country you move into. \n1) Ikea also offers assembly service for which you have to pay. \n2) home owner/landlord didn’t improve noise isolation issue of their floorings. It’s normal practice of most lazy landlords who only rents their basement for reducing their mortgage cost. Or probably didn’t even know that it is doable.\n3) Employment- I am glad to see you found a skilled workplace somewhat related to your career. If you had to go through odd jobs, you would have left Canada within a month. \n4) Hospitals- Indian Government hospitals works the same way. Priorities go to life threatening patients first. But as an ex-Indian, we love spending arms and legs of money. Our loved ones survive going in private hospitals without insurance. \n5) socializing & jokes- I think you should’ve moved to Brampton so you can be part of the ghettoized community we have created there. so what day by day their crime rates are going high, we can at least understand the joke we can laugh on there. And there is no home sickness feeling.\n6) Weed!! - India has legalized alcohol, tobacco consumption. It does not mean anyone can go buy this. Even to buy legal weed in Canada you have to show your ID. There is no requirement of whining about it. Interesting video! You would like to think that the comments will be impartial, some supporting the victim some officials. At the end of the day we are all trying to improve our lives. Some will make it further than others. In the grand scheme of things Canada is not that bad at all. You can do a video like this for any G20 country and you will find good reasons. What's important is we have choices and we can choose. Many do not have that privilege.

what has been shared in this video is nothing that people are not aware of. Everybody knows that you have to do all the work yourself,no maids, cooks, etc. like India.These facts have been there for years, nothing new about them. If people want to got there for further education, it is different, but then Canada is not all that good as far as higher education is concerned, there are better countries to choose from with better weather conditions and better lifestyle and high class education. Who would want to live in a cold and inhospitable country, payig through your nose. Here in India, if we fall sick even with just cough / cold, we can go to the nearest doctor and get medicines, sometimes we can even just ask the pharmaists to help us to choose some medicines for pharmasist here are half doctors.\nEven our standard of living has become so good, that we don't even feel like shifting to a new country. I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.

Have visited many countries for on-site business work, including Canada but India is good despite all the chaos, espcially South India. Started my career in infosys Chandigarh, then Gurgaon then Bangalore. My parents also might move in with me next year and Im also planning to start my own Food eatery. Over 95% Sikhs are just like me and patriotic and Love India, but yes there are issues in Punjab which need to be addressed...\nBut a large portion of the blame sadly goes to Sikh politicians. I want to tell the youth that Khalistan is a waste of time and politicians in Punjab, especially sikh politicians are completely bullshit. They are corrupt and have no vision and rely on rural votes which is sikh majority and Jazbaati over every issue and largely into farming. The Punjabi Hindus, baniyas, aggarwals and Jains own the urban economy and are comparatively more practical and forward looking in life. Many of these sikh politicians sadly themselves are involved in drug, own illegal abortion centres and labs, and even coaching centres to send students to canada on fake letters in exchange for a lot of money...\nI want to tell the youth, There is a lot of good opportunity in India. The short conclusion of this video is if you are soft, scared of learning new things, don't like to adjust to a new environment and culture, or always need someone to help you then Canada is not for you.

On Tunde's success story, I can see that the resilience, passion and dedication that he put in really amaze me. No wonder he was able to achieve his dream. Saw your video for about 15 min waiting for problems in Canada due to which you came back. It looks like an internal problem, nothing related to Canada life.

Thanks for the interesting (but not surprising) video. Toronto and Vancouver have both turned into congested crime-ridden dumps. I heard a story a couple of weeks ago from a guy who went to a meeting in Toronto: out of no-where, he got physically attacked on Young St. as he was leaving for the airport. Thankfully, passers-by pullled the crazed nutcase off of him and he continued to the airport -- albeit bruised and shaken up. I used to like spending time in Toronto and Vancouver: these days, they're both good places to stay away from.
