If someone wants to come to the U.S., do it legally. Don't come here as an illegal, and find some loophole to stay here, undocumented and use resources & benefits meant for Americans & LEGAL immigrants. Because there's nothing left to take care of those who really need and deserve it.

This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. We don’t need all these illegals flooding over.\nThis is all Joe Biden and the Democrats’ fault, for not doing anything for two-plus years, except inviting these people to come here. These people get benefits, free healthcare, welfare probably, phones, and they shouldn’t. They should be told to go home. They should not be given a court date and then released into the United States! That’s ridiculous. They should be loaded on a C-130 transport, retrofitted with seats and shipped home. The majority of them are not going to show up for their court date. They’re going to disappear into the United States, work under the table, take jobs away from Americans, and send billions of more dollars back to their home country where they have family. I think currently, $250 billion gets sucked out of the US economy every year, due to illegal immigrants all sending $50 each, per month, home to their families in their native country. That money should be being spent here.\nLastly, all these illegals and the “anchor babies” they are going to have here, and the descendants of those babies, are all going to vote Democrat in the future, because of this lawlessness. Then we’ll have one-party rule in this country. That will destroy the country. It’ll be a socialist dictatorship, which is not good. The worst part is, many of these women coming across, are going to have a baby within a year. That baby, who by law is automatically a US citizen, becomes their key to citizenship, because once that baby turns 18, he or she can sponsor his parents to become citizens and also sponsor other family members. It’s not right. That amendment to our Constitution, was meant for descendants of slaves to become citizens, NOT to be used the way it’s being used today.\nAnd if we’re not careful we will all be speaking Spanish in the future.\n\nVOTE REPUBLICAN! It’s this country’s only chance and DEFINITELY vote for Trump in 2024. He’ll fix this mess…

My parents came illegally but became citizens thru the amnesty from Bill Epstein i mean Clinton, i was born here in California, even though i love my Mexican heritage i still think this is wrong, we need more border control but we also need to be able to make it easier for the good people to come here legally. There’s also more Chinese immigrants than mexican so we need to get a hold of that too , but these Central Americans trying to come in the country alot of them are gang members and most of them are poor and have no resources so when they get here they will become gang members and cause problems because they have no structure and thats all they know. They really need to do something about this. This is disgusting, this is not the right way trying to barge your way into our country is not the way to go

It's crazy that it so messed up where they live that they are willing to put themselves thru this...I don't really understand government&politics..But why won't these Countries invest into there country so there ppl will stay?America can't handle all this We are not what We use to be..We are getting weaker&more in debt be the seconds..The world need to come up with a plan to make this stop&Help these ppl live comfortably,in some form or fashion..

They all have cell phones to orchestrate and come to our borders with free food and travel. Someone is funding them, since I know for a fact, cell phones cost a lot in their country. Since they are using physical force to infiltrate our boarders and demand entry with no vetting or proper documentation, like any other country would require, they need to be pushed back with adequate riot equipment or lethal force if necessary.

I live next to a drop off destination for Joe Biden's migrants. I would have to say they appear to be victims of the Democrat party, in that, like many other groups of people they have been lied to or given false hopes of success or prosperity. It is evident every morning when about thirty men gather in groups awaiting, perhaps a local contractor, to drive up and offer them a few hours of work, digging a hole or some other menial task. We also now have these corner Hey Cocos fruit stands where another of Joe's migrants sits for hours, making a couple bucks, at best, and a few more for whoever owns the cart and provides the fruit. I can only imagine where all these men must be sleeping at night, who might be paying for their space on a garage floor. Their only relief comes from gathering at the park across the street to use the barbecues and tables, and share a meal. For some the meal leads to beer and drunkenness. I watched the police send five of them back to the garage since they were all in a car drinking, even an open alcohol container in CA is illegal. If I were one of them I would have been arrested, but these lucky Biden immigrants were simply told to walk away. I hope the police at least impounded the car. Ten o'clock on a Sunday morning, people jogging, people walking their dogs, unaware of Joe Biden's guys, ready to drive away in drunken bliss. Thank you Joe. Thank you Democrats, you have created another group of dependents at least you can give them free health-care, I suppose that's one way to say they have improved their lives by coming here.

My parents are immigrants but never took a penny or got any help help because my parents weren't from here. I think you are judging Canada using relatively small scope of criteria. Is some of what you say true? Probably. But there is so much more to Canada. Personally, I think there is so much beauty here, but I sure the hell don't expect to find it in Vancouver, or any other major city. It comes down to how you look at something. If you think it's ugly, then you're going to find a lot to support that opinion. The opposite is also true. There are 2 sides to that coin and they can't be wrong, because they are subjective.

To think, in that crowd are unregistered violent people, sex offenders, gangsters, poor people who are incapable of following courteous laws and regulations, and foreigners who refuse to learn our ways, language, and customs to help give back to our communities. They come here, use housing and food aid at tax payers expense, work under-the-table jobs and don’t pay taxes, and they save up and send all of their earnings back to their country which adds to THEIR economy. Um, NO.\n\nThe sad part is, in that crowd are also good, creative, humble and kind people who seek a better future. Those should register and come in the RIGHT way. They NEED to register. \n\nSadly, you can’t tell the bad people from the good people. And that is a problem we can’t risk taking.

I have a fix to all this. Make every American that came from a legit system, and grand parents, and parents who came legally back 4 generations count only and offspring.. If they are not making $40K/year (assuming the majority has not a college degree in something marketable, advanced skills, a tradesman or artisan) then they’re struggling like everyone else in the service industry. Jobs for teenagers, entry level workers, part time jobseekers like for students, people needing extra income cause it’s so expensive in CA, NY, Austin, TX, Chicago or SF living off work entry-level service jobs. Technology has created a shortage or labor gap between unskilled jobs. Jobs that Americans need while pursuing training or technical degrees for the new skilled jobs. \n\nImmigrants do not need to fit the stereotypes of working in the service industry or as farm workers. American citizens can fill these labor positions quite easily. No, immigrants, work visa or not, do not work any harder, smarter, slower or faster than anyone else wanting to work. If someone is motivated to work an unskilled labor job then they will be just as effective as the next person. The HR for these companies definitely virtue signal and satisfy diversity quotas every time they hire someone due to their work status or ethnicity. Everyone and anyone can be replaced and so the question is, who do you, as an employer, want to replace the job vacancy with? Gonna hire cause they are a good fit or because your helping some politicians cause? Gonna grant asylum cause their lives are in danger from a government firing squad or because Biden/Harris will pat you on the back? \n\nThere is reason to illegally enter this country and it is disrespectful, disgraceful, dishonorable, dishonest and disheartening to the ones who are here legally by going through the process like everyone else paying time and money. I’m Lebanese , i applied for work permit 1.5 year ago, got approved a month ago and got my visa 2 weeks ago( for Edmonton, Alberta). My hourly wage is 16.46$ before tax. I’ve calculated my cost of living ( rent, food, transportation, etc.. ) It was acceptable back then . When i applied earlier , it was my dream to come to canada. I’ve struggled a lot to get the visa and I’ve booked a flight that was supposed to be next week , but honestly things have differ from when I’ve applied. I used to see affordable housing and cost of living, not anymore. Things have changed there, from cost to living to rents to increased crime rate ( it’s even higher and more tragical than Lebanon itself in his worst current situation) and so on and so forth. I’ve literally canceled everything and I’m not even regretting my decision.\n\nWorking on a slight above minimum wage, in a weather that’s -20+ for long months just to be in ‘CANADA’ and live from paycheck to paycheck isn’t going to seduce me honestly.

Shame on those in here whining about what they don't get that refugees get. We have access to all of that and more. Did you know that the basic needs that are provided to refugees or immigrants must be paid back to the government? They get a loan, we don't just give people money because they want to live here. Once they get their SSN and are deemed fit(usually means they speak and write English) for work they are required to find work. Many come from war torn countries or unable to provide food for their children or a safe place to live. Are you that unfeeling you don't want to help them? Canada used to be compassionate and helped others. It wasn't so long ago that our relatives immigrated here for a better life.

Just seeing this is creating an even greater hatred in my heart towards right-wing politicians who don't give a crap about these people and what their reasons are for wanting to come to our countries, even though them being here is not going to cause any harm or misfortune to our citizens, it's just the knowledge that foreigners are coming to our countries illegally, is the only excuse that these bigoted Hippocrates have for not wanting them here. \n\nAren't they so lucky that they were born in a country where they didn't have to worry about any of these problems, but sadly for these people this was not the case for them but they are just as human as any of the rest of us and deserve the same chance to at least not live in fear or in the poverty that they came from. And it is so ironic that these people use their Christian religion as an excuse the pass certain laws or forego certain amendments that gives certain minority groups equal rights or the right to bodily autonomy, yet they ignore all the vast passages in the Holy Bible where Jesus insisted on having compassion for people like this, but in reality these fake-ass Christian right-wing politicians don't care about that. They come to Canada because they know it will take years to process them, they get to live for free on the tax payers dime. In 2010 I had a one way ticket to Florida to visit some friends. At the airport they pulled me aside and said that if I didn’t come back to Canada within 14 days I’d never be allowed back into America again. I was traumatized and never went back. But here we are 13 years later and I can just walk wherever I want to go on this side of the world lol…but for real, this is sad. If you aren’t used to Canadian temperatures your in trouble. Hope everyone is okay. It is rough though, I was in a shelter for two months, but some families were there for almost a year because of the housing crisis. I’m not exactly sure how this will work. ?

Do yourself a favour and stay in the US. Trust me, you will regret picking Canada. Our shelter costs here are absurd and we have a government that flirts with communism. People easily give up their freedoms for safety. Broken health care system. Chaotic place with a lack of cultural identity, selfish people, divided country. Full of woke virtue signallers. Our young generations hate the old. Western canada and quebec don't even like the rest of Canada. Divided place with crime rates quickly rising, country is quickly turning into a dumpster fire. It's a good place though if you are a boomer because you just keep feeding off the younger generation and the immigration keeps pushing up home equity that you can use as an ATM. They are running towards a different kind of poverty here. Some of the places they are running from (mexico), economically have potentially brighter futures than here. The kids might be kicking the parents for this when they get older and see the places where they came from, have better standards of living than the place they fled too. India included, they have the potential to become an economic power house. We hardly produce anything here, and our government chokes off our natural resource exports. Let’s use migrants and help them out, immigrants can do all the labor-intensive and poop work so our healthcare workers can focus more on the health of the patients. This will reduce hospital bills since labor is a major cost to any business. We will also all receive better care at the hospital. \n \nUS companies and foreign companies are building factories in India or in Mexico when the same workers are at our doors. Let's build them here in the USA and we English speakers will have to manage them unfortunately since that’s the language of the Country. If you speak Spanish and English, you are going to have many jobs. \nEverything important should be made in America with all these workers. We can all have our own factories and business and exploit cheap labor flocking to our Great Country. We must use this to our advantage while it lasts. \nCheap labor we can Build houses that are affordable. Fix all the infrastructure we have been crying about. \n \n5. If War we're ready! \nIf we ever have another World War first one to go are minorities and poor people so, not only does it provide us with a bigger army, but you might not be first to get drafted. Not only that but because we have immigrants we would have stronger ties to those immigrant countries which can come in handy later.
