Another failing country

If western countries have not invested in infrastructure since the 1980's then isn't that the place to start before encouraging people to come. It looks like putting the cart before the horse. Its destined to fail. How do leaders not understand this?

Landlords should band together and not rent their properties. See how fast the country crumbles with people out of the streets. Landlords provide housing for those who can’t afford to buy a home to at least have a place to live. The government has failed the people with not building enough homes, and now they rub salt on the wound with mass immigration.

What they fail to say is that they do not have enough points to gain PR. Literally hundreds of thousands of people immigrate to Canada yearly (as per the program requirements) and that’s because they have enough points to get invited for PR. \n\nGet your points up, be competitive like everybody else.

40 to 50 hours a week? I work that in Australia as an Australian. Indian universities aren't necessarily recognised overseas. Even then I've worked with many as engineers and got uber rides from many just as an example. Different cultural system. This is just my personal experience. \n\nYou have to remember that India has been studied as on of the most intolerant countries in the world. I've never got that impression from the majority of other nationalities I've worked with. You can look up the worldwide studies that rank India so high for intolerance easily. These are large surveys. \n\nEnd of the day when you have large immigration spikes without infrastructure it is doomed and you will get a lot of misplaced hatred towards immigrants as low to middle class locals rents/ house prices explode. Not to mention the low skilled jobs that immigrants will do cheaper. \n\nImmigration is a cheap way for developed countries to increase GDP. At the moment the tenant doesn't pay rent, the contract should automatically fail. You go to work, employer don't pay you, you stop working, you go to a store, you don't pay bill, you cannot work out side of the store, why renting has so much previliage?

Canada of early 2000 was a wonderful country. Affordable housing, cost of living was excellent, jobs were available but now this is a crisis. Too much immigration, not enough housing, high interest rates and inflation. Canada is not like USA it cannot withstand such crisis. Don’t blame the government’s failure to provide adequate housing on immigration. The housing crisis exists even if no more immigrants arrive. All levels of government failed in recognizing housing as their highest priority. The City of Toronto for example, is spending money and councillors’ energy rename street rather than putting that towards housing. We have huge, new populations that hate us, fail to integrate and who bring cultures that are incompatible. This is obviously a disaster. The treachery of the ruling classes that brought this two-tier nightmare upon is is unfathomable.

In Manitoba it’s a little bit easier but the RTB is such a drawn out process. \n\nYou need to have justifying grounds. Easy. They didn’t pay. You have to serve them their termination, with a minimum of five business days to vacate. This is where it gets tricky. You have to attempt at least 3 times on different dates at different times of the day. Usually around 7:00 AM, Noon, around 7:00 PM. If that fails. You have to pay to be allowed to post the notice on the door. After that you have declare they’ve been served. Then book a hearing which can take a month or more. At the hearing which can take hours or minutes depending on how well prepared you are, or how much the tenant wants to argue. \n\nOnce the hearing is concluded. It can take 1-2 weeks to get the final decision. If they’re told to vacate. They usually have 5 business days before you can involve law enforcement. Which then takes another week for them to show up. Finally the landlord can change the locks. \n\nExcept, the tenant can then file an appeal. And take the landlord back into a hearing which can take another month. If the tenant fails to change the verdict it’s final. Then you need permission from the RTB to send them to collections, which can then take months if ever, to get the money back.
