Since I was a kid and i saw people moving abroad and starting the new life, I only saw them going there in a better country to learn, adapt , and respect the laws and locals. We still do things or festival with our community or shared our cultures to create a multi-cultural events. We don’t lose who we are and our ethnic but we don’t bring them and force into new country. We can do our thing with families, in the house, or our embassy. We are welcoming people who wants to know our cultures but not like Indians. Indians are force and likes hey looks at me. This is how we are Indians. I found it’s so disgusting and disrespectful. When you go to live in another country because there are opportunities, you have to give back to them too. Entering with your willing, respect, and learn their cultures and then blend in. Because if your country is so great, then don’t leave. Stay in your country and do your thing there. 15:20

Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. One woman I know, from Delhi, married one guy then divorced him, and then within a year married and divorced another man. Does anyone care about the trauma and fact this is called grifting, basically criminal fraud for a green card. She was on her thrid target when I had to stop knowing her. There are allot of Indian nationals here involved with many shady businesses, doing crime here is acting as a parasite - something easy to do as people genuinely like Indian people. I have Indian friends who support these rejections, as they themselves admit that Indian people often lack discipline and proper manners when travelling abroad. They criticise India for its poor reputation, blaming the behaviour of its citizens. They understand why some countries no longer want to accept more Indians, as they do not want to import poor behaviour or unhygienic practices that conflict with local social norms. The reality is that the Western world is changing and, at last, becoming less politically correct. The next country likely to face scrutiny will be Pakistan, due to the violence associated with its citizens. You may call us racist, xenophobic, or worse, but Westerners no longer care. We want cleanliness, security, and respectful social behaviour in our communities. If you don't want to adhere to these norms and values, then FUCK OFF!

Improve your (India's) economy to match the per capita GDP of Western Countries like USA ($65,000 per capita). Rejection rates will dramatically decline. Nothing to do with anti-Indian sentiment.

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. I don't understand why India has to be so reliant on foreign countries. Especially with so many young and talented kids joining the workforce. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. It's not like we lack intelligence, or culture, or values. I don't like this constant feeling of rejection if visa gets denied to move to a foreign country. Oh we can quadruple our income in a foreign country and send money home. Make changes in India to facilitate that, and not have to feel reliant on a foreign country to make that happen. Why does the Indian government not address the fact that India has been running the world's biggest immigration scam? Canadians have been left behind by their own country in favour of Indians. Canada as we know it is done, it is in severe decline and the quality of life of all Canadians has suffered from this influx. At old age homes, Canadians are being passed up and made homeless in favour of new immigrants (all Indians), all low income jobs have been taken by Indians, locals youth can't get jobs. I think the reporter should do proper research. Human development index(education, job, safety, etc.) and the number of overstaying Indians are the major factors why they tend to reject a lot of applicants from India. If India could provide a better living standard, its people would tend to return and not to overstay abroad. But this is not the case. The number of Indians wanting to migrate abroad manifests otherwise. It seems like there is a scarcity of resources in India. No wonder they are shocked that people abroad give tips for a service.

How can Indians protest in Canada and demand for PR? They are not brith right citizens of Canada to demand a PR. It is Canadian Govt prerogative whether or not to offer PR to foreign national. Indians please don't act like fools and shame your country

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

Pretty much all of Canada is like this. If you’re brown they’ll hate you for working hard and making an honest living. Canada is like Indian country they are everywhere.

I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

Because Indians are not good guest at all. They either behave like India is a superpower of some sort (very far detached from reality, India is just a third world country with a big mouth) or they are some rich investors who needs to be given priority everywhere! Learn proper etiquette and some manners. Furthermore, there are just too many Indians trying to escape poverty through immigration...nothing wrong with that but other countries also have issues of their own and cannot accommodate all economic migrants.

Hundreds of thousand have come to U.S in last few years illegally or claiming asylum. U.S cities are unrecognizable. And india is not even a conflict zone.
