My question is how are visa issued even without proper background check. Should not they check the authenticity of the application. I understand most of the indians from some part of the country want to migrate so desperately thats also wrong. Please make sure you keep on including background check in future immigration visa atleast. But I am also happy to that they are getting deported because karma is a bitch.

If you are a international student you come for Quality education and take that quality back to your country to help better it! Period you don’t come here with the intention for migration or PR! You can apply for legal immigration after you graduate and after a year or more apply! Your countries issue and political stuff are your countries problems don’t bring them here! It’s your responsiblity to do your best to help make it it better! Don’t take advantage of our system illegal migration is a crime and you get punished for it!

Unfortunately, I know several skilled workers with MScs and PhDs in STEM fields (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or Computer Science) who came to Canada not only to pursue their degrees but also to contribute to the country’s scientific and economic development. Many of these individuals, including myself, end up leaving.
\n
\nSome leave because of systemic issues in the PR system, which often prioritizes candidates with limited skills or questionable credentials over highly qualified individuals who have lived, studied, and worked in Canada for 5+ years. Others leave due to the high cost of living, challenges in accessing healthcare, or instability in the job market.
\n
\nThroughout my time in Canada, I’ve met genuinely kind and hardworking Canadians who are understandably frustrated with the current state of affairs. The policies implemented by this government have created significant challenges that may take years to resolve. Unfortunately, this risks leaving Canada with a workforce ill-equipped to meet future demands, while losing both talented Canadians and highly skilled immigrants who could have been integral to the country’s progress.

Gross! Since Donald Trump has become the president elect, I have seen so many Hispanic Americans that were once themselves “illegal immigrants” make the statement that they would have no issues with family members and friends who are currently illegal, be deported?! The hypocrisy and complete disregard for others that are literally in the same position that they once were, is almost unimaginable! I was born and raised in this country, as were my parents, their parents, and their parents parents however, I have compassion for those people that have been discarded by their own families and friends for reasons I don’t fully comprehend ??♀️

This video is clearly made by someone from a different country. My wife was a social worker, she went from doing 10 cases a month to 100 cases, she was already busy with 10, and alot of them were illegals taking advantage of our system, taking over 6k a month. Thats just one of the many issues over population is causing. Try getting care at a hospital good luck. We need to deport illegals, its a bipartisan issue.

The issue remains that the deceivers are not the Canadian govt but the agents and companies that stand to gain from immigration. \n\nOn the other hand…the immigrants who come here without being in a field experiencing labor shortage should expect exactly what’s happening. Such people shouldn’t even be granted PR because they don’t really help the Canadian society.

Canada is anyways worthless to live now. You are just living here to pay taxes. And there are stupid religuous issues like india as well. So better look for new countries.

I am a Canadian Citizen and it is hard to find a job than before. They should have allowed immigration based on course and areas of skill shortage rather than come all free for all. Now we are facing issues and this move is too late too political

Pretty happy with this news. Local people should learn the hard way that immigrants are not the reason for their issues. It's their government. \nContinue hating the immigrants and no one will choose Canada. Don't worry; immigrants leaving are more prosperous than you think and have more options. They aren't making 16$ an hour like the majority of the people in the comments section.\n\nInterestingly, some third or fourth-generation immigrants think it's only their country. People who came in the last decade don't deserve to be in Canada. The country only belongs to native people. Everyone else is an immigrant. There are a bunch of hypocrites and racists in the comment sections.

On one hand we are saying too many problems because too many immigrants and on other hand we talking about immigrants leaving Canada. Honestly many are happy if the leave because of the issues
|

That's what Canadians wanted. So what's the issue?
|
| 2024-11-19 | 0 |
America was built by immigrants! So I don't see a reason why they should all of a sudden think that more immigrants are a bad thing! They are just using immigrants as a scape goat for their more internally pressing issues!

We need a lockdown, the Borders. Until our country's gonna get back on track. Especially with National security issues.
|

This isn't about Trump, or anyone else. This is an American issue. 95% of illegals are from south of the border. Americans fight for their country. Black people fought and died for their freedom, equality and rights. If you have your own country fight for it!

if ye really want to solve the migration issue the first step should be to repel the 14th amendment.\nAs long as US citizenship is granted based on the principle of Jus Soli rather then on the more common jus sanguinis immigration will remain an unsolverble problem
|

It feels so foolish to keep trying bandaid solutions that harm the US labor pool. There's a couple of things I keep thinking about in regards to this. \n\n1. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
Both Biden and Obama deported more people than Trump. It’s his angry racist rhetoric that not only prohibits border agents from doing their jobs but causes more issues!
|

As long as immigration isn't out-pacihng our rates of housing construction, then I see no issue with it. The U.S was founded with open immigration. I just don't want to let the U.S have a complete housing shortage like the Netherlands and many European countries and Canada.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
We don't need to deport them. Just make it where any company or business found employing them is immediately shuttered and the management imprisoned. The company assets are then sold off at auction to pay fir the employees deportation. Same for housing like apartments, condos, etc.\n\nMedical care refused for all illegals except kids 16 and under. Same for schools. No high school education for illegal kids. (Kids shouldn't be punished for their parents actions)\n\nFinally, stop giving citizenship to kids born in the US unless at least one parent is a legal US citizen. \n\nRefuse to issue marriage licenses unless one is legal as well.

Turns out, if both parties want to stop immigration, people will vote for the one who claims they'll do it better. Fake, manufactured issue
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
Wow, there is so much misinformation here. Nobody is talking about invoking the insurrection act. Like what? Also there is no issue with deporting illegals and their original countries dont have grounds to refuse to take in their own citizens. A good 60% of this video is just flat wrong or conflates illegal and legal migration.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
The key to addressing these issues isn’t for the government to simply 'deport' illegals; it’s to make life in the host country so dependent on legal status that it becomes nearly impossible for an illegal immigrant to prosper or live a normal life. What we see now is the opposite—some states don’t even require proof of legal residency to issue a driver’s license. When services like healthcare, education, and more are offered without any checks, why would anyone bother complying? A parallel society forms, where people learn to bypass hurdles with the help of others already entrenched in the system. The same applies to sending money back to their home countries.\n\nIf you impose harsh penalties—not just fines—on those who hire illegals, you’ll deter locals from exploiting their cheap labor. This would naturally lead to many illegals 'deporting' themselves in search of countries where they can blend in more easily. Furthermore, there’s a 'support system' that guides illegals on how to navigate life in the U.S. as undocumented residents, which should also be addressed. But instead, Democrats often seem to do everything possible to favor their presence, especially in certain cities.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
It's a problem and the only way to not see it as one is to remove your head.\n\nI'm down to seeing whatever measures needed to get rid of all if not most illegal aliens. The Democrats have been wrong at every step on this issue and have done but incentives people to come at great peril (Democrats are the ones if who have treated these poor people as political pawns).\n\nThey are also WRONG about it being geopolitical issue in South America. Most people entering the US illegally have not even been from Central or South America (if they are from Mexico they don't even get let in). But from China, Turkey, Ukraine, Pakistan, (not exactly countries that loves us).\n\nThese people have to make it through the Darien Gap and then fend off cartels from ripping them off. I also want to see Trump go after people who helped these illegals get here–not just cartels.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
I don’t support trump at all but I think immigration is an issue here (obviously not with people eating cats literally fake) for American citizens and what our taxes go to. Even if illegal immigrants are removed, there needs to be better humane improvements for those who want to come in the right way.
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
largest issue is the increase in Costs to support them + additional crime
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
To all those supporting the cracking down on these ‘illegals’ there’s something I need to know. Tell me, if they folks had an option to immigrate legally, would they? Do you think it’s some kind of malicious effort to come here against the law, or are they coming here out of desperation? Many of these people come from places like Haiti, Colombia, or Guatemala. Places that the CIA and American tax dollars destroyed. Illegal immigration wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t make the situations of many of our southern neighbors unlivable.\n\nI’m a Floridian white dude who was comparatively born with the silver spoon in my mouth, I understand America is at a point economically where the last thing we need is to be spending money on non citizens, sending billions in foreign aid abroad or on undocumented immigrants. But I also think we need to take some level of accountability for why this is even an issue. I speak Spanish as a second language, and ever since I got to communicate with many of these ‘illegals’ and got to hear from an older Guatemalan gentlemen of his time living through the American backed “Silent Holocaust” my opinion has change completely.

I feel like much of yall dont know why illegal immigration is in such an state in the first place, currently, there are no legal paths for immigration, only if youre work-sponsored, or you have a family member, so of course people are gonna cross illegally, the human trafficking market is billions of dollars deep, for every hole they cover, a new one is gonna be created, is something they already said.\n\nthese are people in very deep economical situations willing to sell their homes and abandon everything they have to cross to a highly dangerous path through deserts and mountains, at the very high risk of dying and getting assaulted by the gang members they use, an people think its just because they cant wait in a line? and this is not a rare sentiment too, 70% of people think that there should be a legal path to immigration, but unless thats solved, immigrants are gonna keep coming. Isnt it smarter to solve the root cause of the issue?\n\nand thats without mentioning all the economical benefits immigrants give in this dying economy and without talking about all the immigrants who have already naturalized here with decades and are already integral part of communities.

We wouldn’t have so many illegal immigrants here if we didn’t make it mostly illegal to immigrate here.\n\nAlso, I find it funny that the republicans support a big government approach to this issue

Please consult with US Constutional scholars, lawyers & historians on the seperation of powers in the US. You presented very inaccurate information.\n\nFor example DACA is an executive order issued by President Obama which was not fully adjudicated by the judicial branch in the US. DACA is not codified is law as you stated. In the US Congress creates laws, not a president through an exective branch fiat, as was done when DACA was promulgated by President Obama. It was not full adjudicated in the courts prior to 2020.\n\nSee USC Title 8 Section 1325. Foreigners entering the United State without authorization is a crime.

Thumbs down: false information in this video. At one point confused illegal and legal immigration.\nThe issue there is CONSENT, and homelessness resources.

There is one huge factor you missed about the immigration issue and that is the drug crisis aswell. Fentanyl gets smuggled across the southern border aswell, and this pushes harder border protection
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
Dems just thinking about social issues with their voting base shifted to people with high level education, have forgotten the working class. Too many immigrants without qualifications depress wages. That's the reason why many minorities supported Trump. Which is bad in my view but the fault is mostly in the out of touch politics of the dems
|
| 2024-11-18 | 0 |
If the left want credibility, then they shouldn't treat illegal immigration as a partisan issue. \n\nThere is nothing progressive about having weak borders. There is nothing compassionate about letting criminals and drug gangs go through borders seamlessly. \nIt is a political choice by the left to not treat illegal immigration as a serious issue.
|

Why does the media try to merge the issue of illegal immigration with legal immigration? This kind of coverage maybe considered insulting to the latter category

Democrats were idiots for not seeing that this was going to be a huge issue. Now look what the US is stuck with for a President...

And this is what we call, a ladder puller. Now that she was able to become a citizen, rather than helping her family members to get their legal status, which can be difficult, tedious and very expensive, she could care less if the lives they have already spent decades on building here are completely destroyed. She seems to be fully aware that it can be a difficult process, and I personally have seen that it’s not exactly a fair one either. I have seen some people spend not only years waiting on a hearing or a determination, but spend thousands they scrape together on lawyers and obtaining records, while others submit minimal evidence and get a determination in weeks. Instead of admitting that there are problems with the system and vote for people who are actually trying to help, she wants the same system that made it a difficult process for her to stay the same for them. In fact she voted for someone who is going to make it harder if not impossible for them to come back the right way in the first place. Is she not thinking? If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. Republicans in red states stopped it though and are suing the Biden administration for trying to do what? Help people and fix some of the issues that our broken immigration system has caused? \nSorry lady, but you earned your family’s ire and whatever treatment you get from the administration you voted for.

How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. If fitting in means doing all those things, then I have questions. I thought living here meant I could eat whatever I want and celebrate the festivals I like, such as Eid or Diwali, without anyone interfering. As long as I’m not causing trouble—which I never do—why should anyone dictate how I live?\n\nBeing '100% Canadian' is impossible for me because I prefer staying true to myself. This has been my country for a long time, so telling me to 'go back' makes no sense.\n\nAlso, let’s not forget how Canada’s history involves forcing European traditions onto Indigenous people. In the end, aren’t we all dealing with the same issues? For example, I’m not coming here telling anyone to convert to my culture, eat my food, or join my festivals. I respect others’ choices, and I expect the same respect in return.\n\nAnd by the way, if anyone feels 'forced' by certain communities, like Khalistanis, maybe that’s something to take up with your government—they brought those people here, not us. those are the the one in no fly list that your gov decided to take in and give them citizenship and causing trouble and being violent

The migrants will find a way into Canada because of the government's weak leadership. I was born and raised in Montréal, Québec, and I am still living there. I work as an employment counselor and many asylum seekers (from Haiti, Guinea, Nigeria, Ghana, Algeria, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Senegal, etc.) come to my office (on average 15 per week). Between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, approximately 300 asylum seekers came to my workplace. An overwhelming majority of them are receiving welfare and living in hotels, at tax payers expense, while homelessness remains an issue in the city. Canadians should be taken care of first!

I think this woman is having some mental issues been here for many years doesn’t make her an American you’re still a migrant like your family members and this is not your country period.

These people are running away from their countries, and they should leave all the issues and ideologies behind. Otherwise their logic is to leave an oppressive situation to subsequently try and recreate the oppressive situation here… crazy
|

The issue is that as soon as immigrants want something and it's denied, well, immigrants use their religion to get what they want.\nOur government has no backbone

A policy of mass deportation sounds like good things. To me the emoloyment rate for oeople who were born and live right here in America can go back up. We could stop feeling rejection in that area being cotizens. Violence dropping, rude attitudes disappearing. American issues deelevating. Racism calms. Or issues surrounding racism.

It is 100% the Trudeau Government to Blame. As a born and raised, WHITE Canadian, I NEVER had an issue with Indian immigrants, of all the immigrants to Canada, they were the most respectful, and the most willing to “assimilate” to our culture. The recent influx of immigrants/migrants from India, are the most disrespectful, disgusting and violent people I have ever seen. Shitting where they want, throwing garbage everywhere, not learning English, disrespecting our wildlife, by trying to kill and eat everything, and the latest, hearing a march In Brampton where new immigrants/migrants saying “Get out British speakers, We are the real Canadians, go back to Europe”. My patience and hospitality has limits. Trudeau let this influx happen, assimilation is not possible on this massive scale. I feel sorry for those seeking a better life in Canada, but native borns are being left behind and are angry, so this is what you get. Sorry….just being honest
