It's too many people coming into the United States. Highly overcrowded. The US needs to start taking care of their own citizens first. There's homeless Americans right here that are citizens, there are hungry people right here in the US that are American citizens. They need to start helping their own first. These Americans should not be without anything. And then United States is quick to help other states before they help they own. It's really a shame. And half the people that come here from other countries don't even like Americans. There shouldn't be not one homeless American citizen in America. The country has billions and billions of dollars and they should be able to house their own citizens.

National Guard needs to roll down there and back up border patrol. There's nothing right about this. How many other countries did these people pass through to get to the US border? I thought Mexico was supposed to be offering aid to these migrants? Who all knows whos crossing over in these crowds?

A lot of desperate people trying to leave their own country. The corruption needs to be stopped to stem this tide. Build a refuge camp to assist the desperate people to find alternative housing, employment in the US or another country.

It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

There are millions of undocumented Immigrants in the US that have been living here for decades… they file taxes, no crimes, and yes I understand they are not here “legally” but now these people are just entering the US and getting everything?? Work permit, social security…. Something needs to be done.

They are cause the rest of us to suffer greatly on our needs of living ...they are hurting thiere kids ...doing this by getting caught and putting them on the streets .and going days with out eating !! Love these people. I spent a lot of time living on or near the border, I really think the US would benefit from these people coming into the country. (Most of them, maybe not all of them). We just need to do it the right way, and make it a bit easier to do it the right way.

It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. This is not a racial thing, this is about breaking the law and hurting the US economy.

This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. We don’t need all these illegals flooding over.\nThis is all Joe Biden and the Democrats’ fault, for not doing anything for two-plus years, except inviting these people to come here. These people get benefits, free healthcare, welfare probably, phones, and they shouldn’t. They should be told to go home. The majority of them are not going to show up for their court date. I think currently, $250 billion gets sucked out of the US economy every year, due to illegal immigrants all sending $50 each, per month, home to their families in their native country. That money should be being spent here.\nLastly, all these illegals and the “anchor babies” they are going to have here, and the descendants of those babies, are all going to vote Democrat in the future, because of this lawlessness. My parents came illegally but became citizens thru the amnesty from Bill Epstein i mean Clinton, i was born here in California, even though i love my Mexican heritage i still think this is wrong, we need more border control but we also need to be able to make it easier for the good people to come here legally. My best friend is a college professor, who applied work visa 6 years ago, but still hasn’t been approved. Thousands of Illegal people can just come in , with food,/board/ and brand new cell phones paid by US tax dollars. This is truly INSANE. We can't even afford it here ourselves... Try to get your country back under control if possible. There is already so much competition right now in Denver that I will need a wife to afford to buy a home here. It is ridiculously hard to get a home here unless you make $100k a year and were sent here from California with $50-100k support from their families, us normal people cannot compete with that.

The same people saying that they should start a revolution in their own country forget that the US government was the one that started the problems in those countries in the 20th century, with all the CIA-aided coups and far-right military dictatorships. One must also not forget the problems that the United Fruit Company brought to Central America. If anything, the US should embrace these people with open arms. There always will be housing. If the US stopped zoning every square inch of its land as solely single family housing, we could solve the housing crisis and accommodate a lot more people, Americans and immigrants included. That being said, the federal government needs to allocate more resources to allow these people to enter in a proper manner, something which Biden certainly hasn’t done. This is the land of opportunity, people seem to forget that. I bet the coming of thousands of people into Ellis Island in the past two centuries wasn’t labeled as an ‘invasion’.

Report and deport . Get work visas do it correctly and you cannot have kids be born in u\nS soil. Why do we have to work to pay taxes so they can come and have free medical? My parents are immigrants but never took a penny or got any help help because my parents weren't from here. Upon my parents becoming us citizens they never asked or got any help and not that they couldn't use it cause we grew up poor but in my dad's words that's for poor people that need it.
