The students taken in by QUEBEC to be trained as nurses are complaing they do not get ENOUGH financially. The few CANADIANS going into nursing here have no financial backing. They carry themselve s through by working part time . I suspect many will not pass their exams anyway. No matter how much people are payed if they are not happy or liking what they are doing , they will not be doing A GOOD JOB.

This needs to stop altogether. Immigration is NOT an economic plan and as such has worn quite thin. It has become so difficult to own and run a business (at least in Ontario) and probably the rest of the country due to taxation and added things like carbon tax which has never been explained in a meaningful way. There is also an issue of interprovincial consortiums buying up franchises in bulk and hiring only foreign nationals to work there. These politicians are in denial and have no stake in this which is why it seems like a viable solution. Some of them are also landlords and involved in the secondary mortgage market with investment funds, all the while making policy to keep working people and the middle class off the property ladder. You can’t get approved for a 2000 dollar a month mortgage but you sure can rent one of their properties through a buying consortium for 3500 dollars a month. It is obscene the grift that has taken place and all the while they have had a hand in fomenting a purchasing frenzy for homes which drives their property values / investments through the roof, sometimes to the tune of 10x what they paid for them. It is corrupt and if anyone thinks that 25million dollar Pollievre is going to be different then think again…..it will be a repeat of Stephen Harper only worse (he is pulling the strings for Pollievre.

my main issue is with jobs. we barely had enough jobs for all Canadians, now most jobs been taken by indians, whoa re willing to work on low wages, lie on resume with fake experience. i am an IT professional and my field has been flodded by south indians. we need IT jobs for citizens. this indian immgration needs to be stopped immidiately. every other south indian want to work in IT causing wage deggredation. go find jobs in india, stop ruining out Canadian job market. they come with fake resume's. fake certs.

Do you know what is truly sad? Indian People are some of the hardest workers wherever you go, they take jobs that most won't do are highly educated and respectful towards everyone. They work their butt off and when they get taken advantage of, it seems they don't get the same attention. I went to Germany for my Masters at one of their top universities, back then (10 years ago) taken in by their great public image and a personal interest in Germany history and culture. Looking back now having also experienced living in the UK, HK and Sweden thereafter, I can understand why Germany has trouble attracting the top talents, or any ambitious individuals seeking to develop their career overseas.\n\nIt doesn't provide the money.\nIt doesn't provide a dynamic enough market and opportunities.\nIt doesn't provide the same type of diversity and excitement in truly world-class cities like London, HK etc. Don't get me started on food.\nEverything is functional but that seems to be the sole standard to aspire to. \nGermans are not the people whom you can bond easily. Sincere and friendly many are, but the amount of effort needed to even crack beyond that shell is ridiculous. In this respect I think most north europeans are quite cold and distant. But working with Germans you need to also handle their 'honesty', intensity and directness on top of that. The lack of nuance rubs a lot of people in the wrong way. \n\nThe Germans whom I met and spent their formative years overseas are fantastic. Invariably none of them would have thought of moving back.

I moved to Australia from Canada over 20 years ago. After the draconian lockdowns and being forced out of my job by j mandates, I've wanted to get the hell out of this country. Since Labor won all state elections and the federal election, things have taken a serious downturn. It's a big clown show. The state government here in Victoria, home of Dictator Dan, has racked up such a colossal debt that there's just no way out of it. They're raising taxes and making up new ones as the go along into the abyss. There's nothing here but a big real estate bubble and when it pops, there will be tent cities all over the place. The government created the problem just like in Canada. They increased the population by 1.6% in ONE SINGLE YEAR with immigration and now there's not enough housing to meet demand. The lockdowns took all my savings and a chunk of my superannuation to just survive, and I was robbed of over a year of earnings by the government. I've been stuck in this massively over-priced hovel for 3 years longer than I had planned and now would be lucky to even be in the top 20 picks for a rental, at twice the price. It's only a matter of time before the job market implodes due to business closures and the all around terrible climate in which to start new business. I want out, but the prospect of returning to Canada is beyond depressing. Everything that drove me out of Canada in the first place is 10x worse now. My other alternative is UK but I don't feel like going to prison for liking memes about Keir Starmer on Facebook, so UK is out of the question. Not to mention that it's economically doomed and has a worse healthcare system than Canada. There are lines around city blocks to get into a GP clinic.

I had visited Canada since the 1980's on both coasts, mostly Quebec providence, Alberta and British Columbia. I loved Canada, sometimes more than the U.S., which is where I was from. Canada has been taken over by the bastard son of Fidel Castro who is ruining the country at a surprising pace, mostly because they take advantage of the civility and kindness of its people. I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. They come here thinking they can do whatever they want to do it's their freedom in a free country. We also see that there are scammers from Call Centres in India who have scammed so many innocent Canadians, including some Seniors. But also the Landlords have taken an advantage in rising the rent time after time while these property they have bought them long time ago and already have no morgage paid. My rent went up 1000 dollars in just one month after I have lived and pay my rent for over 10 years, This now is common because people cannot afford to get a house or even an apartment. The problem is the government allowed houses to skyrocket high so the banks and them can make more money and less care for anyone. The system has to be fixed.
