I dont know. Twice , Ive met Canadians down here in the states. And right off both times they were complete assholes to me. Not just me.but our country The one guy I tried make friendly conversation and I mentioned I was going to a race tomorrow and he goes off on America and their racing , americans and their gasoline.Liked he walk here lmao..what an asshole..just rude ..I dont feel bad for Canada one bit. Both times...ASSHOLES!

The US was an example, a role model for most of the entire world and it reversed in a matter of weeks. We are living absurd times. It is sort of a nightmare. Why is the US isolating itself, picking ridiculous fights with friends? If the American people don’t react to this and get rid of the madman, it’s gonna end badly… 4 the Americans.

Trudeau is extremely impressive in government actions and in communicating as simply as possible to the people of USA, to explain what is happening and to implore that they pressurise their rotten Trump government. This is an attack on a very friendly government with 25% tariffs on everything but just 10% on China?? This is an attack to try to destabilise Canada to help in taking the country over. If this were just about Trump then it would be easy to ignore. But of the 244m eligible US voters, 77m voted for Trump to appease Putin and sell out their friends; 88m couldn't be bothered to vote at all. That's 165m US voters who don't care whether the US breaks its word, attacks its allies, and supports Putin. Or worse, actively support it.

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... And all of this will end up heavily impacting Americans as well, also because besides Canada there is Mexico, China and the whole of Europe. In such a war there are no winners....
