I don't understand why people feel that delivery drivers should carry change...like get the exact change if you're paying cash. They're outsourced employees, they dont carry a cash float. Harrison, you should have driven around some of the neighbourhoods. Since Trudope opened the gates - all the beautiful middle-class neighbourhoods have filled in with international students. Indians have bought up all the houses across the country and then rent them out to students. Rentals with 5-8 cars and garbage overflowing. Of course, a lot of students are nice people but the big problem is young guys who are just trying to get a PR card - they drop out of school or get jobs trucking etc - they have 10 of their friends in one rental and they all drive jeeps, jettas and chargers. Not all poor people living in streets are drug addicts. there can be people who are betrayed by the people they trusted or people living in slums who are earning less/nothing. There is no career progress and it is so expensive for everyone, they want you to work low level jobs, because a weird rite of passage like if speaking English was unique to Canada or the world is not trading with each other for the last 20 to 30 years . Complete stagnation in terms of economy, inflated house prices compared to similar markets like Texas, the country has been so reliant on natural resources that the job market is not competitive and an island. If you want to do trades go ahead if you want to work in finance, tech or anything white collar do not go to Canada. If hard working Canadians don't have money to afford groceries and are using their credit card for everything believe me as an immigrant you'll have less than that you'll be an economic slave.

I don't give money to the homeless anymore (I give food or gift cards instead here and there), but if one pulled out a debit card terminal, I'd be immediately wary of a potential scam. Not only because how in the world does a homeless person get their hands on that, but also because there isn't even a screen on the one we saw earlier in the video. For all you know, you may be transferring 1,000 dollars from your checking to theirs as soon as you tap your card.

I hear a lot of the same, too many immigrants, but we've always had immigrants coming in, majority of people in Canada are immigrants ever since 1960s policy changes. The problem with allowing immigrants in NOW is that we don't have jobs and we aren't producing anything to give immigrants real jobs. A lot of companies are folding in Canada or mass layoffs. We aren't creating wealth. And the institutions are solely relying on Immigrants to keep their schools profitable. It's a vicious cycle that was working, but now that the house of cards are falling, there is no way to clean it up, without a complete reform.
