To a Liberal I guess this is considered progress. I'm in the process of moving to a small town to get away from the big city. I just want my last few retirement years to be spent with real Canadians. Trudeau has cheapened the meaning of what used to be Canadian.

Immigrating for Studies is different from Immigrating for Work and Residency. These people think they are all the same. There are different levels of intake based on how much limited resources Canada has. If you come for studies, that should be your intention. You get your education, and then go back to their country of origin. If you want to come for work or residency, apply as such and get in line behind others who use the system fairly.

If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

Doctors also get opportunity at fast food or big box stores as they don’t hold their noses high enough above others yet speaking down to subjects. Once proper English is used they can be doctors again.

According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. We cannot continue with this.....every time one of these places destabilizes they end up on the CBC waiving their Canadian passports demanding the Canadian government do something to get them out. \n The Author of the video is correct. I'm sick of this. Nobody wants to get a job which has elite future prospects. Earlier, people used to move only when they proved something on paper, with full credibility. But now, they just wanna do labour stuff, no good knowledge no plan. Just don't spoil the name of our country. Only the deserved ones should go.

I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone. The average Canadians aren't benefiting from immigration, only the corporations, fake colleges and immigration consultants are. It's disgusting the politicians are using desperate immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers for votes.\nThe future are robots and AI for most labour and manufacturing jobs. Then don't be shocked when civil war happens. Enough is enough. Canadians need to be like Denmark and Netherlands, who are saying no to massive immigration! Remember refugees and asylum seekers aren't supposed to work until their claims are approved. How many businesses are paying the migrants in cash? It's one thing if the immigration process was well organized and all the immigrates were working and paying taxes. But now the provinces are begging for funding to deal with all the new comers and only Quebec is getting support from the federal government. Most mirgants just come here to try to have a better life but in reality the politicians don't care if they end up on welfare. It's super sad Canadians are dying of drug addictions on the streets and the federal government is still insisting massive immigration is going to keep them in power or solve Canada's failing economy or prop up Canada's pension plan.

Used to be if you wanted to come to Canada you had to have a certain amount of money! I think that should be the case as well as also educated. Australia had a point system and its very hard to immigrate there, we should have that too. Lets stop dumbing everything down! Immigrants come and they come from 3rd world countries and they then offer their serves at lower standards. I used to house clean, I was a single mom with 3 kids and I made a good living. I lost a few jobs to NANNIES who were hired to take care of kids only and before I knew it they were cleaning the house and I was let go. Now those nannies could have just looked after their kids. They didn't even get more money to clean the house. Screwed me out of work and gave them selves more work without more pay! I see it in the Massage Therapy industry too, they post rates a lot lower than the going rate! Janitor serves, truck driving, all are being dumbed down and lower quality! Franshises all being bought out and having major health issues with food quality...dumbing it down to their country of origin!! Im so sick of it all.

We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. The worst part is they take advantage of the governments loopholes, they don't respect Canadian culture... and like one of the interviewees said, they are only accepting their kind in workplaces. If I find an ad that looks good, 80% of the time it asks for punjabi only, gujarati only, vegetarian only.... how is this legal?

The amount of money international students specifically indian students invest in getting admissions and visa here, is the amount of money they can use to get very rich education without even working and just studying and staying in a good hostel with food there in India. So, clearly they are not coming here for education, the primary goal is somehow to become a permanent resident of canada.

Canadá guarantees your studies not a permanent resident ! Stop trying to get ahead of laws, get your studies and if you can’t stay go home and use your studies !

I hate that all indians get a bad image because of this. Most come just for opportunity, gujarati, people from Mumbai, and some honest punjabi's. But all comments I ever see about are related to uneducated punjabi immigrants that are causing the problems. People back in the day used to have to show competence before coming here, these days almost anybody can come. My parents came here in 2005 and we always matched the canadian values, while holding on to our routes. Its a disgrace what trudeau has done

Lots of them are not students, they come here with false papers pretending to be students, they came to stay and work, and the guvernment knows that, the guvernment is corrupt and using them, you all got screwed just like we are all getting screwed

I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

Its a simple thing. Folks are trying to leave for a better life, they then got to know about Canada giving 3years postgraduate work permit to international students who studied for two years and, there are permanent residence programs you qualify and can apply for after getting one year Canadian work experience. This is what encouraged many international students to head in this direction. Unfortunately, half of about 800,000 international students admitted to Canada came from India (if i'm not mistaken), many of them had to borrow the money to pay fees or their family sold their ancestral land or used it borrow money with the hope that when their child who they sponsored with the money is done, he/she will be the family's hope to not only pay back, but help them relocate too. However, the picture is not looking like it anymore as the demand for jobs surged and many are not able to get jobs or can't find the kind of jobs that can make them get PR and, their current work permit is about to expire, which means they may be faced with going back home with nothing so, they are pulling every string they can to stay back because, returning will mean they are a failure and can even cause their family a lot of emotional damage. Infact, i have heard of some of them who committed suicide as they are not meeting up and are not ready to go and face the shame back home. So, what you are seeing is the definition of desperation!

Polliver can not be relied on , as example , when Chinese police stations became known it was that group from Spain that warned the citizens of Canada . As the Queens official opposition why did not polliver bring charges for those involved in those setting up and establishing Chinese police stations in Canada ? We have pretty much very similar challenges in Australia. I would say living cost is even higher than Canada. But the good aspect is the weather. In Western Australia we enjoy over 300d Blue sunny skies and in Winter although rainy, we seldom get below freezing temperatures. So i don't need to worry about damaging my LFP batteries for my Offgrid solar system.\nAnother benefit is the bike path network in WA is extensive. You can pretty much get to anywhere on a bike, riding mostly on a very nice and safe bike path. I cover 60km every day travelling to/from work on my ebike. And it takes less than 1 hour for each trip.\nCrime rate has been getting worse though. It is fuel by drug use. So if people go out especially at night, you definitely need to be highly alert and watch your 6 o'clock. One can get attacked for no obvious reason and very commonly from behind. ???

It’s not a new thing people have always came to canada and left. I worked with canada immigration and in late 90’s early 2000 I can give you the stats canada use to target 250000 immigrants a year and only could bring 160000 to 190000 immigrants In a year and never met the target on top of that Approximately 60000 immigrants used to leave canada either after getting citizenship or for other reasons. People who left were from different countries, backgrounds and religions.

So many Palestinians are trying to get out through egypt but the egypt borders have been closed since day one. How long will they be kept there as a tool to use against Israel. This is not to say that the only possibility is to remove them, all of course not, but they dont even have the option to leave. May God protect the innocent living in the Gaza strip

We’re just so tired of these protests, getting so use to it it is more annoying than helpful. Just like the climate activists. You do more harm than good, blocking streets destroying property, speech that should never be allowed.

Luckily was able to purchase a home 6 years ago in a smaller town on the outskirts of the city. Now my commute is 2 hours a day and my gas bill has tripled and all my expenses. \nThen I drive into work as an educator and can barely make it through the day bc the school system doesn’t support the amount of students. Classroom sizes doubling, no supports, classrooms taking place in hallways. Had to go on stress leave awhile back, but could barely get medical attention. Had to literally beg a doctor to take me on.. only reason I felt I got medical attention was bc he was my mom’s doctor. Yup this is life now and not fair to anyone. Problem is I feel I don’t have anywhere to “go back to” \n.. I’d leave Canada too now if I could, def. Not what it used to be.

You pass by my old apartment in this video. I literally had to leave Brampton because im disabled and worked in mississauga and could no longer take the bus anymore because of the influx of students. The buses would literally drive right by you if you had a stroller or mobility aid because there's no way for people to navigate on the bus. Theyre so overcrowded, i imagine theyre running at over max capacity. I would watch elderly people who were even more disabled than myself get on the bus and the international students who were sitting in the disabled seatinv would look up at them and then back down at their phones. I would be yelling at them to give up their seats for other people while i stood on the bus leaning on a cane. They litterally do not care about anyone but themselves. And no matter how many times i complained to Brampton transit about disabled people not being able to properly use their services anymore, nothing came of it

Just thinking about all the anti family issues in North America that white Canadians face like abortions, LGBTQ, divorce, men preferring to stay single. The consequences of these ideologies are less and less reproduction, less and less babies being born. Could it be some propaganda some countries are using to slowly get rid of the Caucasian not only in north America but also in Europe? It's like they are becoming an endangered species...slowly.

He's a fall guy for cheap trucking companies. New immigrants rely on their employment to stay in the country and their employers use that leverage to skirt safety and labour regulations. They'll bribe driving instructors to certify their guys, get them to forge their books so they can drive longer shifts, then wipe their hands clean when one them kills a bus full of kids. \n\nDeport him or not, the people above him need to be held accountable. Canadian born truckers have been complaining about these practices for years, but people love free next day delivery.

Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. It will be getting worse and worse in the coming future, believe or not. Good luck new Canadian immigrants.

I was there, vancouver, around 2018 to before covid, I feel they might have gotton the welfare wrong. my salary after tax,heath insurance is 40% left to settle all my living expenses. and who benefits? eg. drug addicts wait for free drugs every morning, a women keep boring kids to get free welfare, this I heard- a refugee with 3 wives and 12 kids got at least a free house and van courtersy of the local govt, a newly minted immigrant citizen also gotten $1200 senior welfare. Just felt that normal working folks are getting a very short stick. Also not sure if the free university education is all that good, it uses a lot of tax money, but higher earnings go to labour jobs like a roofer could earn $150k vs a business admin graduate earing $60k avg .

Context for this tradition: In the British Parliament of the past(which Canada uses as framework for it's own parliament), the Speaker was considered the most dangerous position to hold as they spoke directly to the king and could get executed for bringing bad news. They are using the student visa to get IN to Canada, FIRST, and from there an immigration consultant who normally are from their own ethnic background will persuade these students under false pretense that they (consultant) would be able to help them get permanent residency. This is a scam in itself by their own people.\nGovernment should make a stand regarding the student visa policy on temporary work permit for students, then after the program ends, they should go. Why grant these thousands of students permanent residency at this time. There's already a problem of housing shortage and soaring rental cost happening at the same time. \n Manitoba's 2 year extension will attract these protesters in PEI to move to Manitoba. Bet on it.

Get out of Canada. You did not come here legally. You used the student scam system to get into. Canada is turning slowly into Pakistan and India. We do not want you here.
