I think most ppl have to remember it’s a British Colony we still pay the Queen(kinda embarrassing) Usa had seen this problem for more than 200 years ago. Personally I think they leave Canada with a low population with mostly submissive immigrants and people who fled from war torn countries as bargaining chips as they would be less likely to complain against the same ppl who invited them. Just remember the fiasco with the Syrians a couple years back. Canada hasn’t been the same since the 90s those were good times to invest. Person living in South Korea here ??‍♀️and contemplating between moving to either USA or Canada! So this was interesting! I tested the waters and traveled to the USA last year! They both made good points, food isn’t that great but the people are so sweet and inviting. I was scared because of what I usually see on the news but I didn’t experience any of the horrible things I read, but then again I was very cautious.

We applied for PR. Got invitation for my family within 10 months. Landed in GTA in 2016. Stayed there for a one month vacation became PRs. Observed many things and spoken to many of my friends while I was there. Situation was pathetic in a nutshell. Getting their marriage certificate looks difficult. I also got to know from google that marriage certificate was required for marriages after 1990, not sure if its true. Canada is a great nation and for them to open their hearts and borders (Visa-Free) to the people of South America and Mexico is a great idea. I would like to invite the Canadian government to go to the Texas border or Southern California border and help the migrants there get to Ontario or Quebec or wherever they can place them. Airplanes, Trains, Buses, Cruise Ships whatever they can do to quickly move migrants to Canada. ???❤️?Then do some incentive programs to encourage migrants to move out of Chicago, New York, and California and move to Canada.

The biggest pro about Americans IMO is their willingness to befriend complete strangers. It is very easy to make friends with Americans whereas speaking as a Canadian you generally need an invite to a group to make friends.

On the whole the picture doesn't look pretty, Canada is not a developed country like the USA, it is a developing nation . She was shocked, whereas I, being in my 5th year of my stay there, I no longer react but adapt to a situation. \n\nAs for doctors, I know foreign doctors who can't practice as is taking forever to get papers done. Some of them need to pass all exams from a medical school. \n\nYou reminded me how I was annoyed by tax not included in a price. In Poland price on a price tag is final, the same for the UK or Switzerland. \nSilent racism I will call it fake openness as it also touches white immigrants from Europe. The job market is sealed shut and glass door awaits. My Canadian, academic job experience was good enough for the UK and Switzerland/Liechtenstein. Funny fact, recently I got invitation to apply for a job in Canada as suddenly I am good enough. Of course no one ever invited me to the network so networking is not. Even funnier I was interviewed for a job but when I saw rent for 1 bedroom in Toronto I withdrawn my application.\n\n I was told old building in Switzerland are bad. Maybe. What a backwards policy. We have enough struggling Canadians as is. We need to care for own first before inviting that over.

If you really want more people then please fix your Immigration Services as those are not functioning at all - I PASSED the citizenship exam 2019 and we are in 2022 and still not invited to take an Oath. So yeah - bring in more people so they will wait for years and years.

Stop inviting more people until we get the ones that are here a home, health care, education and a job. Once we get that under control, people will have kids again and invite others again at a manageable number. Immigration is not essential.

Isnt it supposed to be worn under cloth. If you would carry ka knife(in eyes of foreigners) then definitely its invitation for trouble. Good information especially the getting rich aspect. It did answer a lot of the question i have been asking myself. One thing to point out when next you invite a guest, please don't talk over each other as though you are competing to put the information out first before the other. Good information all the same.

Hello everyone...I've been to Canada,  and back in South Africa,  a failed immigrant,I'm a finance professional.  The country is inviting thousands especially from the subcontinent so they bring and burn all their savings in Canada.  Its not about how hard it is or how quickly you can get into Canada. Its about what you will do there. There are simply not enough jobs for skilled educated workers  , its ok for meat cutters and other blue collar jobs who have nothing to lose,but not for qualified professionals.  It's a harsh,  unwelcoming country where Ex professionals from India end up driving taxis. My advice...if you are a professional degreed worker in India,  Please do NOT move to Canada unless you have a confirmed job offer or have done your research.  Do your math about salary vs. Living expenses. Good luck. Don't jump into a lake if you can't swim...
