Immigration Canada needs to surround the GTA slowly working their way in checking everybody's permanent residency and anyone who does not have it is removed with prejudice. You come here to a school run by Indians who are a majority scammers and you think you're going to get a Queen's University level education, you're the fool.

If I were looking to attend school in a foreign country I would look to Harvard, Cambridge, MIT etc. Foreign students looking for a Canadian education should be looking at UofT, UBC, Waterloo etc. Going to a foreign country to attend a no-name, diploma mill school is beyond foolish. Cavet emptor.

We watched them raise the cost of living 3 times in one year while our pay stayed the exact same and gave all our money to ukraine and isreal, dont get me started on healthcare racketeering and all the fbi staged school shootings , you think we arent fully behind terrorists? ?????????Look, there are people 'gaming' the system, here in B.C. there are a bunch of Schools that nobody ever really attends, they are old storefronts downtown... the windows are covered with paper so you can't see inside. Conviently there are 'immigration lawyers' offices right next door. There are reports that 'students' are recruited in certain South Asian countries, put into debt to the tune of $180,000 with the promise of being able to get residency and eventually citizenship. They are then put to work, in local businesses to work off this debt. There is a reason every single small business in my town is owned by a certain Southern Asian position group..\n Every single one, every gas station (even the one on the native reserve) every single fast food restaurant and they only seem to employ people of a certain population group... in my day that was called racism, but today it is just motivated by greed and exploiting their own people, which they have a long history of in their own country?????????

Why are these students here? Are there no schools in India? I feel sorry for this young fellow, before coming to Canada for an average education that will only lead to a minimum wage job in a ridiculously expensive country, please learn from this young man’s plight.

Why did he say he came here for a better life but he’s an international student. Didn’t he come here to study? I’ve thought about going to another country to study medicine but I have no intentions of staying there for a better life. He didn’t say a single thing about having to go to school with no where to live. He didn’t mention a single thing about studying and school. Just that he came here for a better life. If life was so hard back where he’s from , how did he afford international student tuition which is in the 10s of thousands per semester?

Why spend so much money and travel great distances to go to a school. It would be more economical and more advantageous if the foreign students patronized educational institutions in their home countries. Also, notice that the interviewee mentions the word “immigrants”? So, what is going on here? Is he here clandestinely for immigration purposes or is he here to obtain post graduate education that is not available in his home country? An advanced degree that when he returns, his new skills and learning will help tremendously to develop his home country.

India has to seriously relook at the school education system. None of the subjects talks about ethics, following rules empathy etc. As the kids getting older the ‘chalta hai’ mentality rules their brain.

Thanks for sharing. I don’t understand anywhere you go if you are international student when you finish school you have to go back where you came from . Now the Indian are taken the job of tax payers. They work two jobs and our children don’t have job .

The government should change the rule to let international students into the country, beside getting accepted to the accredited schools , they also need to have a guarantor living here who will guarantee for their well-being ( including housing and food ) during their courses.

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

Support Canadian that their families paid generational taxes. we can’t get a job or even provide for our own families. There’s on feed ourselves. Our food banks are being taken advantage of. Rent is high is very hard for young Canadian family to buy a house. It’s not Canadian. I see buying the houses. ? who owns the schools?

Be honest students where coming here under false pretense. How can. They do school and work 40 hrs wk. There videos showing them how to come illegally. Be honest come thru the right means. there is only so many students per school for other countries so our own get a chance to go to school. but trulip has fixed this to buy votes by allowing foreigner to vote when they get here and not by the rules of citizenship. but that has ended now and so has trulip. cant house our own people time to close the boarder on immigration. I think 10 years of this in only a few years was a bit much.

Those from India are like any other immigrants. They're trying to find their way in a new society with different customs and rules. My parents came here in the 50’s from Italy and were discriminated against in the same ways. As first-generation Canadians, my brother and I were discriminated against because of our heritage in school and then in our chosen careers.\n\nIn general, Indians are hard-working, well-educated, English-speaking and entrepreneurial. In general Indians benefit Canadian society.\n\nI became friends and eventually best friends with my neighbour from Punjab. He came here with nothing and became an educator for children with special needs. He had two master's degrees. One from McGill University and one from Cambridge. He was involved in our community at many levels. We spent most evenings discussing life, and society issues and even worked together on a campaign of one of our local councillors and won. He had a positive impact on all who knew him. Unfortunately, he passed in 2012. RIP Rupinder Jeji. You are dearly missed.

While on the subject of scamming, schools in India have the exact same programs.

Problem with Germany is not that you will encounter something racist in your daily life, It is your kid that will be treated less than in school by TEACHERS, not by some random person on street. Teachers will try their best to put your child in classes that will levitate towards labour intstead of academics. Meanhwile German kid who is less eager and less smart than your kid will be protected by system to be something they are not. \nThey will make sure your kid is less than a german.

The government under Trudeau is a disaster and it shows that he does not know what he is doing. He is giving foreigners the chance to thrive in Canada and does not think of the Canadian residents. A lot of the students uses every loophole to stay in Canada either before and after education to secure permanent residents. Why are students allowed to work. They are supposed to help the economy by going to school, not taking jobs from Canadians.

Im mad because Im young and want to go to school but cant work because of post graduate immigrants taking low skill jobs (Fast Food, Retail,). Its petty to come to another country, complete your studies and with your work permit work for minimum wage at tim hortons. Nobody my age can get a functional job just from applying. This is why when I am old enough to immigrate myself, i will attempt to immigrate to california (due to film industry and love for the state) and stay in my working field and leave the jobs there for the youth).

Not so acurate information. During the college time students can work only 20h/week. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). After I graduated I became supervisor. \n\nSome people complain about students and immigrants getting the jobs, but what I’ve seen was a lot of people complaining EVERY DAY about their jobs, about their lives, etc…but doing absolutely nothing to change it.\n\nI got here as a student, I became immigrant, I worked as a cleaner, I graduated at college.after 2y working full time I got the permanent residence, and I was back to school. \nI got a Master’s degree at McMaster University, and now I am a manager in a big hospital. \nImmigrants taking the jobs??? I don’t believe so. I did to deserve it. \n\nSo, don’t put everybody on the same basket. It is a scam if you came with a student visa but spent limited time in school.

They barely show up for school, and now they're protesting low marks. Instructors are being pressured to pass them by some schools as a result. Hiring managers are going start throwing resumes out that have indian names because of the fraud that is widely practiced in Indian culture. Guaranteed if the Liberals get back in they will institute a Hiring quota like Bob Rae tried to do in Ontario..

Canada is not Canada I grew up with. I no longer feel welcome or wanted in Canada. I feel like not only does my government not care about me, but that htey activity make decisions purposely to hurt me because they think its funny. I honestly feel bullied by my government.\n\nMy rent has doubled in 5 years. My food bills has doubled in the same time. Yet I still make the same per hour as I did 5 years ago. My parks are always full of needles and drug paraphernalia and druggies, my schools are teaching my kids to hate their own skin color and feel shame about the past, the police dont do anything when I get assaulted.

I was a student before Covid and there were several international students in my school that had jobs not on campus

2023 we let in 200,000 international students. Government told schools to cut it back and 214,000 this year were let in. And many students are coming for free. \nCan you do a video on how many international students are on scholarships? I know 3 students from Bahamas that are.

What that one girl said is true. If you look around and see NO Canadian students there question that’s school’s legitimacy.

Shut down all these fly by night colleges. Look into the school before you come, see if it actually has a history established of more than 10 years.

Sorry we haven't got enough housing for Canadians already here. The International students must pay their way and then go back home to start new educated lives. I work in a food bank and see many international students taking food from Canadians. This is not supporting themselves. Thousands either quit school or failed and then demanded citizenship. I'm outraged. There are many issues that must be dealt with asap.

CANADA is a real nightmare for international students, and the visas must be renewed every two or three months. My cousin went to school there and she had a hard time. They wanted proof of income from her parents and the source of their income. It is too cold there and it is not for me. They have empty land and need workers. They want them from Europe and not Africa or the Caribbean. Students in other countries get a yearly visa and don't have to submit documents monthly. It is ridiculous and grossly unfair.
