As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. They think all the ladies there will sleep with them for money.\n\nThe reporter should see this side of Indians before questioning the west on why they reject visas. In my opinion this reporter is biased and wont show the entire truth to the world.

The only economic parameter that matters is per capita. India currently ranks 122nd in the world based in per capita (that too purchasing power included). India can be the largest economy in the world with a hopeless per capita. One day The Adanis, Ambanis and a few others will be worth 25 trillion USD themselves and India could be the largest economy in the world; yet 95% of its population will rank lower than 120th in the world. Nationalistic emotion can cloud one's judgement. Plus as an ex-Indian, here are things I see constantly - walking upto the edge of the platform to empty their noses, being obnoxious in public, spitting on the side of the road, talking to people about how the country they are in, looted India for centuries, and asking them to return the 45 trillion :D

It’s very simple: Most Indians are more likely to figure out a way to stay abroad once they touchdown abroad. \n\nAmericans, Canadians, Europeans, etc, don’t need visas wherever they go because most of them always return to their countries eventually no matter where they visit and how long they’re away. \n\nCitizens who don’t need visas wherever they go hardly ever leave their own countries for another. It’s really very simple. Just look at Singapore, Switzerland, etc. How often do you see their citizens leave such countries for another? Almost never. That’s why.\n\nIt sounds like she’s trying to make an argument that this rule shouldn’t apply to Indians because India’s economy is powerful. You need to convince this fact to the Indians who are leaving India, because if you can’t even sell this point to those Indians leaving India, then you don’t even have a case.

New Zealand is a lot smaller then Canada, and so the Indians stand out even more, just look at all our fast food restaurants, service stations, corner stores every business you can think of they own it. We can see the behaviour of our own people inside our country which they take with them when they travel outside. Total disregard of other people and their culture and way of life. I agree with some of the rejections due to improper behaviour.

I’m not Indian National however I feel proud that this nation has build ‘herself’ as the 5th largest global economy and if some of the following ways are adapted by Indian Gov, the Indian passport will be saluted.\n1) Make your currency strong as in Raja Ranjeet Singh’s time 1 Indian puree was ten (£10) British Pounds, today it’s 100 Rupee to £1.\n2) Need to hold educational tests for everyone going abroad with a minimum level of English language.\n3) Emphasis on etiquettes and local Knowledge of the country where the traveller wants to visit.\n4) Stop all of illegal immigration via people smuggling agents as this gives a bad name to the country.\n5) Set a minimum benchmark amount of funds required before applying for an overseas visa.\n6) Make it mandatory for all travellers to have a full fare return ticket (12 months validity) on them at all times to show strong ties to return back home after trip.\n7) Create strong religious tolerance and harmony within the country so the world can see no religious discrimination being reported on international media worldwide.\n8) The Indian embassies all around the world should be aware and weary of each Indian national traveling abroad in real time so they f any help is require they can assist 24/7 without failure.\nThese are some of my points and opinions for a better India.\nI hope the people who read above will not be offended by any of my opinions as this is not my intention and I am well wisher and want to see this nation thrive, always.\nGood luck and all the best…

Indians need to drop certain behaviors when they leave India and learn how to behave in the west. Maybe then, some countries may reconsider their visa formalities. Indians are possibly amongst the largest group of overseas travellers just trailing behind the Chinese but the visa application process for us is one of the most stringent. . . Go to any tourist destination in the world and you’ll see an Indian restaurant and fellow Indians, but we are not shown the respect or importance we deserve by diplomatic missions of other countries.

Just stop applying for visas for any country. If you do this collectively, unitedly for a year or two, it will bring lots of countries to their senses. Bharat is a tremendous huge power because of its population, specially its most powerful(in the world) middle class. Just go and explore Bharat for a year or so. So you seem to be blaming the Country denying Indians a visa. Break down the rejections. Indians like any other third world country are known to use these avenues to escape from India. Don't blame the countries for taking time to assess. Blame the Indian society/economics that is forcing people to exit the country. See what can be done to fix that first, so that people don't want to exit your motherland first.
