I think Justin Trudeau wants more taxpayers. That is why he's inviting people to flood Canada. Those who move there without knowing the cost of living there, are going to be shocked when they see what things cost. \n\nDue to high Canadian price, a lot of Canadians cross into the US to do grocery shopping, and fill up their cars with gasoline. Besides sales tax, Canada also has VAT.

The level of entitlement is shocking. More firmly controlled borders with clear guidelines would be far more fair and humane.

This silliest part of this story is that if he could write a resume listing all that construction work that he has done he could easily find work that pays comparable wages to what he gets in Canada or the US in most Latin American countries. And he wouldn't even have to deal with documentation problems and culture shock. Construction businesses in those countries would be delighted to have workers capable of working to North American standards.

I'm shocked to know that racism  exists in Canada.  Very eye opening.

What a shock, a 1st world country doesn’t want undocumented, illegal immigrants in their country to use services reserved for its citizens.

I am an African-American male. It it not very shocking to me that slavery existed in Canada. However, as a child in school,I was always taught that slaves escaped to Canada. What happened to these former slaves? Unlike the U.S these black Canadians have been able to keep their identity, mainly their name instead of taking the names of their masters.

I am actually shocked to see this information. I did not know. I travelled to Vancouver & Vancouver Island 5X. 2X with my African-American girlfriend. I didn't see any biased behavior at all. Of course, I was not looking for it. We were treated courteously on both sides of the boarder. My grandmother was held as a White slave for most of her youth (indentured servant) in Canada. So, I knew through her that it was one of the possibilities. I am sorry to learn of it. This is a great issue for Americans to get over.

In 2006 I applied for a job in a different city in UK and because of my last name they invited me for an interview expecting a white person. When they saw me they mentioned that they I was a white person. I was shocked. And I turned the offer because I felt I will be experiencing racism if I take the job.

I get discriminated & profiled a lot because, I look Mexican & Americans treat me that I am Hispanic, but I am Middle Eastern & I don't cover my hair or dress like Muslim women they get shocked when I tell them I am a Muslim.. They said I don't look Muslims, how does a Muslim people look like? Being a Muslims is a religion, not a race.

In america there is a new law allowing the government not only the right to detain indefinitely american's, but the right to kill them to. So if this is a law that has been thru congress in a ''peaceful'' country, then why is this of any shock to you? stop lessening to the media! I'm a muslim and I will never hurt anyone. My country is one of the better examples of Islamic law though still flawed due to national problems and namely international relations and the paranoia surrounding the USA for good reason (CIA Coup and 25 years of USA backed dictatorship and opression)\n\nNow about the reports, understand that western media thives on shock media, they thrive on putting things out of context and exagerating them.\nYes those things happen with Muslims as they happen with everyone else, but it's not Islamic.
