For almost 150 years the Liberal Left has been conducting an experiment. The subjects of the experiment: African people and working-class whites. The hypothesis to be tested: Can people taken from the jungles of Africa and forced into slavery be fully integrated as citizens in a majority white population?\n\nThe whites were descendants of Europeans who had created a majestic civilization. The former slaves had been tribal peoples with no written language and virtually no intellectual achievements.\n\nActing on a policy that was not fair to either group, the government released newly freed African people into a white society that saw them as inferiors. America has struggled with racial discord ever since.\n\nDecade after decade the problems persisted but the experimenters never gave up. They insisted that if they could find the right formula the experiment would work, and concocted program after program to get the result they wanted.\n\nThey created the Freedman’s Bureau, passed civil rights laws, tried to build the Great Society, declared War on Poverty, ordered race preferences, built housing projects, and tried midnight basketball.\n\nTheir new laws intruded into people’s lives in ways that would have been otherwise unthinkable. They called in National Guard troops to enforce school integration. They outlawed freedom of association. Over the protests of parents, they put white children on buses and sent them to African schools and vice versa.\n\nThey tried with money, special programs, relaxed standards, and endless hand-wringing to close the “achievement gap.” To keep white backlash in check they began punishing public and even private statements on race.\n\nThey hung up Orwellian public banners that commanded whites to “Celebrate Diversity!” and “Say No To Racism.”\n\nNothing was off limits if it might salvage the experiment.\nSome thought that the Talented Tenth would lead the way for African people. A group of elite, educated Africans would knock down doors of opportunity and show the world what Africans were capable of. There is a Talented Tenth. They are the African Americans who have become entrepreneurs, lawyers, doctors and scientists. But ten percent is not enough. For the experiment to work, the ten percent has to be followed by a critical mass of people who can hold middle-class jobs and promote social stability. That is what is missing.\n\nThrough the years, too many African people continue to show an inability to function and prosper in a culture unsuited to them.\n\nDetroit is bankrupt, the south side of Chicago is a war zone, and majority-black cities all over America are beset by degeneracy and violence. And Africans rarely take responsibility for their failures. Instead, they lash out in anger and resentment. Across the generations and across the country, as we have seen in Detroit, Watts, Newark, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and now Ferguson, rioting and looting are just one racial incident away.\n\nThe white elite would tell us that this doesn’t mean the experiment has failed. We just have to try harder. We need more money, more time, more understanding, more programs, more opportunities. But nothing changes no matter how much money is spent, no matter how many laws are passed, no matter how many African geniuses are portrayed on TV, and no matter who is president.\n\nSome argue it’s a problem of “culture,” as if culture creates people’s behavior instead of the other way around. Others blame “white privilege.” But since 1965, when the elites opened America’s doors to the Third World, immigrants from Asia and India–people who are not white, not rich, and not “connected”–have quietly succeeded. While the children of these people are winning spelling bees and getting top scores on the SAT, African “youths” are committing half the country’s violent crime–crime, that has nothing to do with poverty.

I think the government knew about it a lot earlier but chose to ignore it. Many people even still commit visa fraud to gain entry. When applicants applied on their own to avoid the exorbitant fees charged, the immigration office give them hard time only to find out that agencies can easily manipulate the system thus the deserving applicants won't get an approval. The 27,000 quota for 2019 has been met for only 11 minutes. so how can the ordinary people compete with the agencies who's business is to push their own clients to get processed? Wang only served 2 yrs out of 7, does that mean he paid for the remaining 5 yrs imprisonment ? The penalty of $900,000++ is such a small amount to compensate of what he did and so he will keep on doing it because he can get rich easily.

I'm also a immigrant, but my family is different than those people who break the laws. I wish the government can find out all of them, because everything they did is unfair to all the law-abiding citizens.

This is a pretty misleading video.\nYes, our minimum wage went up to $14/h compared to the rest of Canada, however keep in mind it had to accommodate to the cost of living. You're lucky if you can even find a LEGAL small 1 bedroom basement for $800/month. Its not common. \nA car? Brampton has the highest insurance premium in all of Canada. \n\nDon't get me wrong. I LOVE Canada, I couldn't see myself living anywhere else because it is my home. \nHowever, when you compare it to india, in India you're only paying for electricity, gas, and food that you need to buy at the grocery store. \nBut if you really needed to budget and save money, food is LITERALLY growing in your backyard! All the veggies, fruits, etc. You just need to buy the grains and proteins! \n1.5 lakhs sounds great per month. But 1.5 lakhs is realistically not enough to live in Canada. \n\nDon't believe me? Google cost of living in Canada. Google how much a family of 4 would need to make to survive per month in Canada. Also, make sure to check out CANADIAN WEBSITES for this data. (.ca sites or try Global News or CTV news since they have this data)\n\nThe problem is everyone that comes to Canada always comes only to one area which is usually Toronto! However this makes the cost of living go up to accommodate this many people. Compared to Regina, or St. John's not many people immigrate there! It is a smaller city compared to Toronto but at least it's more affordable.\nDo you're research before coming here. Find out whats the best situation for YOUR FAMILY and what YOU can afford. \nCanada is a beautiful place, and yes, Brampton does have a lot of the Punjab culture, but don't be fooled. A mere 20,000 sent to Canada last year? We get hundreds of thousands each year in the U.S! $50K in the first year? I should have applied as a refugee instead of skilled worker 😂, instead of spending $10k just in immigration paperwork + airfare and then another $20k just to support myself (with no welfare) in the first year that I couldn't find a job because I didn't have "Canadian experience". I'm not against refugees but I think 50k is too much, especially if they are getting free housing. There are a lot of things wrong with our immigration system, and I think patronizing immigrants (instead of empowering them) is the cause of most problems.

I find it funny how Tucker tried to stick a dig and make it seem as though he is unqualified to be PM of Canada by calling Trudeau a 'former drama teacher'. Meanwhile he fully supports a reality star celebrity with literally no experience in politics prior to running for presidency. The hypocrisy is real. So hes been in the US for 15 years and still cant speak English? Could you imagine living and working in a foreign country for a decade and a half and not know enough of the language to have an interview? Then he goes and finds out canada has even more restrictive immigration policies than the US. All while being a shining example of asylum abuse.

My heart aches for these people BUT during his stay in Canada he could have applied to permanent residence. You could find that out almost immediately by talking to an immigration office.

I feel for Jose, yet I wonder why he is not angry with his own government, with his own country for making him feel it was impossible for him to live and work in his own country. Why can he not go back there? How is that system lacking and what can be done to change it so that people don’t feel forced to leave. I find it odd that no one ever reports on these South American governments - what are they doing so wrong that their own citizens are refugees from their own country. Why can’t we stop blaming and find a solution to this problem? Why is it framed that it is the United States or Canada’s fault for upholding immigration laws, their own countries insist upon them. it’s odd.

He is not speaking English and expecting to find a job in English speaking country? I'm sick of these sob stories. Are those people really that stupid? I'm beginning to think they really are. This man had been in the States for several years according to this video. He was in the States illegally. He clearly never bothered to learn English, and it looks like that for his family too. Then he gets scared because Trump got elected and actually starts ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAW. So he flees to Canada just because of something a really STUPID and poorly liked PM says. So he takes his family and again is expecting to be given asylum, and then does no research to find out the facts about Canada's immigration system before he goes there. Then he complains about having to spend all his money. Oh gee, did he actually think they would just give him free everything??? Clearly the threat he's complaining about in his own country is not that bad, since Canada rejected his asylum. So what does he do? He refuses to turn up for his hearing, and then he flees to another province. Totally criminal activity. Canada's immigration people need to round him up and deport him. Oh hell no. Honestly I am a Canadian and enough is enough we have way too many people on welfare or can't find jobs and we are too busy letting more nd more immigrants into this country. Yes, I know we are all immigrants but come one we need to draw a line somewhere and stop immigration until we fix our problems that already exist like lack of jobs and funding.

As a proud atheist, I find all religious costumes to be either degrading, or just plain hilarious. \nTheir minds are poisoned from the time they are born, and that's child abuse. \nWe should be asking why we are allowing so much immigration. The answer - families don't have as many kids. Why? Kids are expensive, and when your giving over half your salary to the government, having no kids may be your best option financially. So the government responds by keeping taxes high, and making up for smaller family sizes by recruiting immigrants from the Philippines, Nigeria, Sudan, etc.. The handful from Syria get all the attention, but they are a small fraction of the total. \nSo either start having more babies, or start preparing for the multicultural mosaic where the liberal values that made this country great will need to be protected, and I would say, promoted.

All people who do not assimilate must be deported. As well as just stop immigration of Muslims all together. We are at full war. The people who controlled our countries back in WW2 understood that the citizens were number one priority and stopped all immigration of any ethnic background like Germans and Japanese. \n\nBut not all citizens were protected like the Japanese Canadians Americans and so on. The governments back then were very strict and careful. And did they have as much deaths of terrorism? Solution-citizens of these countries need to find the courage and clarity to express their disagreements and let their leaders know what they feel, and perhaps remind them who put them in power.
