20 years ago, already a Canadian citizen I came back to my country of birth. The Canadian dream became more of a nightmare. I faced so much bigotry and arrogance from so many Canadians. Behind that smile and political correctness was so much contempt against newcomers. Holding a U of T master’s degree meant nothing as my hands holding it were not as white as the ones who were eventually employed. My accent, considered “nice” as a tourist, became a motive for rejection and disdain when trying to integrate to that society. It’s no surprise that many of us are not willing to stand such scorn.

Third party services always reject visas,OCI for some small little nonsense reasons so they can keep on charging fees again and again. This is the way they make money. They rejected my visa even after all the documents filled out and completed properly. Even to call them they charge 4/5 dollars per minutes. And though you have spoken 3 minutes, they charge you for 5 to 10 minutes.

Yes, everybody is aware of that the Consulate have the right to accept or reject app. But that is not the case, some of the staffs there are known and are famous to be rude and have done so much trouble to customers especially to foreigners (they have no idea how diffict that would be for a foreigner to travel and to whon he/she could trust in a foreign country). My humble request to all those Indians who are unhappy in Canada, may please leave Canada immediately and return back to India. The fact is this that when you are kicked and rejected in India then you think of shifting to another country. Canada is one of the best country in the world for those who are not scared of working hard. One who works hard progresses fast. This respected lady is used to servants and domestic helps, that one cannot get here. I am here for just 7 years and I am a senior citizen but me & my wife got very good jobs and enjoying life. No one asks about your religion, what you eat what you drink. So all those who like lazy life please stay back in India. Yes if you want to get a good job you have to upgrade your education. Girls alone are safe even at 2am in buses.

I'm in Ottawa and it is even worse. My 1 year old baby has physical developmental delay and we get rejected from all neurologists. There is absolutely no healthcare system in place. Only emergency care. The healthcare system is a bit better in Toronto. Basically there are no options. If you can move to USA

But since march 28th 2023 we have not heard from IRCC whether approved or rejected. And school has even withdrawn the admission on 1st of August. We filled one form we found in their page to know the application status. They replied is in the queue. Is there anything we can do.

My American husband and I moved to Los Angeles from Montreal, because of the fact there was still a lot of live music compared to other places. Please, I’m a healthcare broker, usually work plans in the USA have a huge deductible, mayor medical treatments need to be approved and usually are rejected or denied if the insurance considers the person a high risk, the system sucks, some workers have very good coverage, but that’s only if the company they work for really care, I primarily work with Medicare, which is excellent, I would say it’s the only coverage that is worth it.

You do t have time so move fast and be strategic.\n1. Constantly apply for jobs until you get an offer. Not all companies will employ you on tourist visa cos you don’t have LMIA. If you must, look for rural areas who lack workforce and are willing to employ people no matter their status.\n\n2. Asylum (this should be your last option, it’s not advisable cos it’s 50/50). If you’re rejected, you’ll be deported.\n\n3. Private colleges. These guys are willing to admit students cos they need students. Some even give instant admission.\nOnce you get admission, apply for a student visa. You can change the school later for a better school.\nIf you must, try to do your Medicaid and apply for study visa before your flight to Canada. \nThis way, you won’t be committing a crime and it’s easy to get the visa.

When you have to pay that much for a visa, you should have the common sense to know it's a scam. Playing innocent now is pointless. Plus what kind of checks is the Canadian Embassy doing while issuing visas? How did their visas get approved in the first place?
