I am born in Canada and i lived in Montreal's suburb(South Shore like we say here) all my life and i love it but i would never live in big major cities because of increases of crimes, high prices of houses/condo, traffic jam, pollution. \nMy girlfriend from Beijing came here last september for 2 months and she really loved it. She enjoyed the freedom, the many different foods from other countries in restaurants, our culture , the people kindness, beautiful nature and easy living.\nYes we have too free medical health care here in Quebec's province(Sun card ) and i have an excellent medical plan with my employer so i can have acess to private clinics free of charges when it's too long in public hospitals.\nI hate snow and cold long winters since the age of 18 when i had to go out for work or school and i dont like our corrupt goverment but we can vote for a less worst one every 4 years. ?

Toronto is no paradise its expensive overlytaxed the people are miserable and selfish and is getting more and more violent the city hates god it keeps poor people down so you can't own a home it is rasist in passive way just too give impression like its not\n Free health care was in the past in toronto doctors in toronto just use your health card as a hustle you go in their office early in the morning sit whole day till evening then im lest than 5minutes you out then they try too experiment drugs on you and you still sick if not the drugs causes other problems. It's a city of lawlessness and only very wealthy people dont see the troubles most taxpayers face . Tax payers are taken advantage of by politicians in toronto now people cant afford housing . I wouldn't advise people to come here its gotten very difficult too live.

You are not the only one complaining about Canada. I think first of all, we have to understand that we had been living in a peaceful world for the past few decades in contrast with the world just after world war two, and every young people had been living in comfort during their whole life. The last few years had changed, and if the world leaders didn't control the situation very carefully, we might be living in a world war not surprisingly. The inflation we are having is worldwide as a result of the pandemic, and because we have this rising inflation, the world had changed, it would have been worst if there is a world war going on at the moment. So this high cost of living is happening everywhere, and some places are even worst if they are having a war. If you think Canada is bad, name a place that is better than Canada and live there. I doubt if you can find another place better than Canada even with all your complaints. Do more research and you will appreciate that you are one of the lucky ones living in Canada. If you do not agree, I invite you to make another video telling me your findings. We are just in a bad cycle, just wait till the cycle ends, and we will see the sun shining again.

Very interesting video, all was well explained. But the situation it's the same here in Europe, and maybe is even worse, in Italy you die of hunger! Salary is so LOW and never changed in more than 20 years, and rent of houses is crazy! It's insanely high and with your salary you can't pay the rent (even if you are a doctor, nurse etc..) you don't have money to buy an house and if you pay a rent you can't spend money on anything else. People here live thanks to their parents savings (who has this luck). The situation is very bad, young people can't find a job because there are no jobs available, it's really hard to live. Cities are dirty and degraded. In public health care you have to wait months and years for a visit, you are forced to go private and pay a lot of money. So I think the situation is serious everywhere. If you know a place where you are paid well and there are no such problems let me know.

To make matters worse, there are some who become “Canadians of Convenience” who, once becoming Canadian citizens and holding Canadian passports, leave Canada to go live in their countries and when things blow off, and their countries become war torn, they ask the Canadian government to pay for their flights back, not to mention those who get sick outside the country and come back to get treated at the expense of government health care. And after all is done, they once again leave the country. Really?

Canada is suffering because of bad leadership. The government is unable to step in in housing, because that would mean lowering the global value of it. Unable to step in in services, because it is stuck with unions that support laziness instead of competences and performances. Unable to step in in anything because it is controled by a literal mafia that totally surrounded the government and pull the strings of every ministers who are no longer there for the people they represent, but afraid of being killed by those mafiosies. \n\n So the honest worker is mostly doing 32k a year with charges that are about 30k a year. That means most people are going paycheck to paycheck, unable to afford savings, nor think about retirement. Unable to afford to improved their housing situation, paying rent that is so high that it should be consider a crime. \n\nIn fact, i predict many landlord will be killed in the coming years, by people losing their mind, because of incredible amount of stress they are suffering from. You think i am joking? Just the last 2 days, 2 woman lost their life because of being beaten to death by their husband... \n\nThis country is failing and failing fast because it doesn't take care of its population anymore... it is a doom country and immigration was the nail in the coffin. The system is unable to sustain such a demand. The next year is gonna see an incredible rise in criminality, and i foresee mass murdering events, like there was in the US.

You keep hearing this question that originates from Israeli plans. Israel wants to force out all Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. They want the Palestinians to go to Sinai or Jordan. I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. It doesn't matter to them about honoring the terms as long as they can get enough people to sign up. But soon enough (and it's starting to happen) word is going to get out that it's not really that great and the number of people signing on is going to plummet.\nThe Canadian government doesn't care about the immigrants as people, all they are is numbers to keep our overall GDP propped up, meanwhile per capita GDP is in a freefall.

I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

Please come to Pakistan … as you people are a kind of entrepreneurs(doing ur own business for earning ) you may find good gaps that may turn opportunity to you and that may boost your business , huge population wear hijabs n lala hijab May get flourished here … yeah I admit that it’s sanitation problem is quite much but Islamabad is too good to live you may explore on internet as well as it will satisfy your demands … nature n infrastructure plus sanitation… all is of good standard …mosques n azan call five times daily …. Many Filipino,indian,pakistani engineers, whom I knew, spent many thousand us dollars went to Canada with their families to improve their lives.but, when they arrived in Canada, they worked not as an engineer, but worked in a position below engineers, like skilled workers.so, salary is low,everything expensive. We are originally from Bulgaria but Turks and came to UK 10 years ago, we just bought our house 3 years ago, basically created everything from scratch. It is bot an easy task to start from the beginning again but I believe that if Allah maid to think about moving that means He will help you.\nAs a hijabi muslim woman in a community that there are not other Muslims around I can say I feel relatively safe BUT some days I notice the look of hatred in n some peoples eyes. The other thing my girl started to question some topics they have been receiving at school and it is a constant battle for me to keep explaining to her the right and wrong. More over she is listening for now but not sure for future and this scares me.\nAs you said praying and being a practicing Muslim is difficult here as well. We are Turks but do not have Turkish nationality but when we go for religious holidays in Istanbul I feel completely different, it just feels like I have to live there near the mosque. My inner me begging me when we are in Istanbul in the old part of the city to stay there forever. \nI really know what you feel and want. I am looking for Muslim countries where possible we can move BUT unfortunately I made the conclusion that there is not a place even in a Muslim land that we can live the way of peaceful practicing and being a Muslim what we want to be. \nJust advise be careful with the Arab world, other than that if you look at Türkiye I would say do your research really well, not in every town there you can live your religion. Azerbaijan is excellent I would say but they are still under the influence of Russia. \nSo really difficult decision, may Allah guide you. Amin

Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. May Allah bless u all with his blessings, protect your family from evil eyes, fill your life with joy, happiness,love and peace and May Allah make this journey and life easy for u and hereafter. ❤ Your family and especially your little kids

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

Who cares if immigrants come or go. The problem is when actual Canadians start leaving in droves because the country is degrading so rapidly

It's funny. I was talking with a coworker last week. He is a Canadian citizen and has been here for about 6 years. He told me that he's counting down the days until he becomes a US citizen. He has a couple of months to go. He said that he no longer cares about his Canadian citizenship. His wife is still trying to get a green card. They have a child who was born here and is therefore a US citizen by birth.

Canada is not perfect. Our health care is over burdened for one thing, and real estate is overpriced. But I don't know any of my fellow Canadians leaving en masse. Like, where would we go? The Scandinavian countries aren't exactly welcoming any of us with open arms... All countries have their problems. Canada is the partner you settle for because there aren't a lot of better options
