I’ve lived in America 15 years because I married an American. Americans are definitely more difficult to get along with. That’s one reason I would consider moving back one day, I miss Canadian people. I live in Florida and am originally from Vancouver

You missed the boat. I moved up here in 2018 graduated from Canadian 2 year college with business diploma right when covid hit in 2020. Special TR to PR program happened. I ran out got a job for a few days then PR. Was sweet.

I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

Same reasons why I left Canada. It’s my first year in Kuwait (expat teacher) and honestly I’m loving it here. My husband and children are also with me and they love it here too. As we speak, the athan just began and it is such a blessing that we are missing in Canada. The weather feels like spring here and the sun is out almost every single day. May Allah swt choose what is best for you?

They have very narrow attitudes and live in small world. Getting dressed to show off … sad? They keep making comparison to India ….why? You have to accept what the local customs are. And the food is personal taste to each area of world. Canadian food is according to Canadian taste not indian. Each country have their own taste. They most likely miss the pollutions from India.

I moved back to the Philippines after a year in Canada. I missed eating at restaurants, travelling and buying nice things. Those are just things I cannot sustain in Canada. My lifestyle here is much better.

Great Video.. one important missed metric fact is Canada ranks 6 on the Global Peace Index and USA ranks 120.\nThe crime index is very high in USA compared to Canada

Seems you’re omitting the main reason here. It’s the freaking Indians. They’re destroying the livelihood of everyone here. They’re moving to every provinces & fraudulently occupying all the homes. They’re buying these houses & putting all their extended families in them. They can’t drive & this makes the prices of Insurance go up. The govt is indulging them. Your takes on the state of affairs seems to stem from outside statistics which are influenced by the govt. The truth is missing.

What is missing is that many leave after getting Canadian citizenship. So it is a two edge sword...stay in Canada for the prized citizenship. I think those who leave with that are just using the system...short term pain, long term gain...also these issues about Canada are not new...anyone thinking the streets are paved with gold are not paying attention. Also much immigration is family reunification. Also, when one leaves were are they going to go...not the US these days...

many good points here although you missed a couple the first being that Calgary put in the homes and infrastructure oh 10 years plus ago, now reaping the benefits. Secondly a Prime Minister called 'Trudeau'!!

Very curious to see how this will go. Libanon and Turkey is alright. Once you are gone for longer you will miss the privileged society you left behind.

I have been living in Canada for over 20 years now, staying in Mississauga & not sure about the druggies everywhere statement, may be true about downtown TO. We also have a strong muslim community around us, ofc azaan five times a day and access to pray easily I do understand is missing here as in any non muslim country of the world. There are a lot of halal food options here now..esp in the past few years. Regardless of where you stay, it is my belief that you carry your deen with you, its a way of life and can be practised & taught to children in any part of the world. I do get the point about winters, but then summers are harsh in alot of countries like the Middle East & ppl stay mostly indoors. To each their own & I wish you the best in your decision! ❤

Q: Might anyone expect more from Pierre's son? One who is even more insecure and so much more willing to sell out his beloved nation and her people....hello? \nThe United States does it, sells land and even entire corporations, really 'whatever to whoever' has the money, they are called sell outs....in French they are called Trudeaus. Thank the universe I am almost 60 and not 20, I'll be gone soon and will not miss this 'day and age' and what the sheeple have allowed it to become.

I was raised in Canada, got married and came to live with my husband in kosovo about a year ago. At first it was hard as I missed my family and friends in Toronto but when I think about how blessed we are here to practice our beautiful deen freely without worry, plus now expecting our first child it puts my husband and myself at ease. Alhamdulilah!\n\nWishing you and your family an easy move away, inshaAllah it’s filled with khayr!

Dont mess with the Saudis. I think Middle Eastern politics is a comprehensive game of chess that has been going on for centuries. The western world cannot comprehend the game because it missed the first 100 moves. All they can see now is who is left and not what moves got the ME there. The chaos is not as chaotic if you live it daily and they have been.

As a non-Muslim that grew up in K.L. I miss the call to prayer.

Canada will not miss you, on the contrary, it is happy that you are leaving????

We also decided to move for similar reasons - from Europe to Saudi Arabia. It's been 6 months now that we live here. I do not regret it. My kids are safer here. The only thing - we miss the greenery.\n\nMy husband is Turkish so I can also relate to Turkey. Small towns are nice but in big intetnetional cities you can see the tension and fight between atheism and Islam. Could be a good option depending on where you will live.

Interesting about the islamic atmosphere, I live in England and there are so many Muslims around me, I even hear they calling to pray once a day but I don't see a Christian atmosphere even though it's said to be a protestant country but for sure there's a Christian atmosphere back home in Brazil.\n\nI absolutely love living in Europe (Ireland and England) but I do miss this atmosphere from Brazil and my culture that 1000% I want my kids to have.\n\nI have the exact same opinion about things that are being taught at school that goes against my believes and i know many Christian parents are making the change to homeschooling and i might do the same when it's my turn.

MashaAllah, u guys r such an amazing couples and parents. I know this is not an easy decision, but Allah is with u and I really stand and look up to u. Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. May Allah bless u all with his blessings, protect your family from evil eyes, fill your life with joy, happiness, love and peace and May Allah make this journey and life easy for u and hereafter. ❤ Your family and especially your little kids

I have met you in person and I love you, I think all governments are almost the same and the corruption has reached everywhere in the world yet many people are still and will always be good and they are everywhere in the world.\nthe cold is the same as the hot the only difference is you had enough cold but once you go to the hot countries you will say the same about hot weather.\nThe environment, I prefer that my kids get exposed to everything and question everything and I will always be there to teach and explain and learn what I have to learn to become Muslims based on conviction, most Muslims In Muslim countries are Muslims because it is the norm to be a Muslim and the day they are exposed to the rest of the world… \nSo at the end,I want you to make the decision you believe is the best for you at the moment, and Allah will ask you about what you did not what other people have done.\nThis is donya and you will be tested till the last day of your life. Equip you children with knowledge wherever you are and Allah will take care of them.\nAll the best my brother and sister and we will miss you here.

Salam ?? I'm happy for you. Do whatever is best for your family. My father-in-law was born and raised in the states, remarried and moved to Malaysia. If his opinion was the one to go by, Malaysia is to be ranked as the best country in the world. It has everything you would want according to your list of why you're leaving Canada: warm weather; affordable; Muslim nation; doesn't support israehell. I live in Michigan. I hate it here for the exact same reasons you outlined. I have literally never traveled outside of Michigan EVER due mostly to fear and anxiety of traveling. So the idea of MOVING is almost impossible due to fear and anxiety alone. I have a question, what about extended family? Won't you miss them, or are they tagging along? Salam and good luck ??

I lived in Toronto for many years. By 2005, I'd had my fill of it and I ended up moving back to my hometown of Vancouver. For sure Vancouver has it's share of problems, including ridiculous rental prices, but I can't say I miss Toronto. Certain friends and some family I do miss, but I'm able to keep in touch with them online.

They both missed d historical lessons. Palestine?? Whose land?? Hypocrite ?

You missed lack of gun culture and universal health care, two important topics if you are going to talk about life in Canada…..

Teligion is important because it keeps the wokeism down. Canada is becoming too woke. So USA wins again. As for medical, it’s dollar store care and how many are missing a family doctor?? USA wins again!

How is everybody missing the false logic that he quietly inserted.\n\nHe states a premise that Palestinians do not want to leave their land. In that case, why not open the border and see if Palestinians come in. If they do not, then his premise is correct, if there’s a mass exodus, then there’s premise was just a way to shift responsibility.\n\nJordan and Egypt occupied the Westbank and Sasa strip from 1948 to 1967 what stopped them from creating Palestine or simulating those countries into theirs? Why was there no prosperity during that period?\n\nThe truth is that the refugees follow the 1948 and the land that was going to be given to the following. The conclusion of demand of Palestine has been in a tug of war between various factions for the last 70 years.

Missed out on the perfect follow up question: should Palestinians give Israel the same respect they are asking for? They cannot wrap their heads around it: they believe Israel does not have the right to live in their own land in safety and security, and not be forced out, nor will they stop the killing of Israelis by rockets and other attacks.

If no one wants to live in Canada, why isn't the population going down ? In fact, more houses and condos are being built, public transport is improving (even though slowly). Population in most places keep going up ! For those who want to leave, please do. We won't miss you. One can complain about almost everywhere in the world.

????? …. \nThe only thing missing in this are him saying the words : “Israel” … and “USA and all those who claim Israel has a right to defend itself”

Pretty good job on this video, but you missed the biggest problem. We are extremely over taxed. Especially when considering the public services we receive in return.

That the Canadian parliament celebrates a known En Zee and also learning that there are many of this ilk is enough for me to give Canada a big miss.\n??
