I hope both countries can work together EQUALLY (key word) for the best of both countries. As an American (love Mexico ??) Interestingly enough, the clip where the girl is complaining about having the rent increased by $7000 is not Trudeau's fault (Liberal government) but Doug Ford's, who's Conservative and the premier (like a governor in the US) of Ontario. He removed the limits on rent increases on properties occupied for the first time after Nov 15 2018. So now, if you want make a few more bucks or just kick someone out just jack the rent so they can't afford it and have to leave (usually you can't just end a lease agreement because you want to but not anymore as you can just increase it to whatever you want). Since the Canadian government thinks we Canadians born in Canada are all criminals, without a trial in a court of law to determine this, the Canadian government wants to replace us all with brown immigrants mostly from Iran. Are we talking about a mass deportation of people who came into this country illegally? The funding and the resources are the problems. Trump is not going to be able to deport as many as he proposes. If some of them have been here and started an American-born family, then they should get special consideration, but if it's decided they get deported it's really not the fault of the government, it solely rests on the shoulders of those who come in our country and break our laws. If the idea is to become an American Citizen breaking the law is not the first thing to do to swear allegiance. It's confusing. First Trump's administration is going to be jacked up with little known outliers with controversial and radical ideas. That is what Trump is attracted to. However, the tariffs may as well be a scam to get companies profits as when Trump says 10% on item A, companies are going to raise the cost of item A 12 to 15% or so and blame the cost increase on tariffs. For deportation's, I hope most people realize that many working the fields as low wage labor are very well illegals, but they are hired because they keep food costs low. Raising all prices for the poor Republicans will not be beneficial because prices on goods can increase 15% or more but their employer is certainly not going give them a 15% raise to match the cost of living. So Trump has already made the business environment good for more profits by planning to make life more expensive for everyone so business can absorb the additional profits. Probusiness politicians help businesses make money and that money comes from households and the government. And making the government spend more means the government needs to tax more. But TRump is cutting taxes for the people that have the most money. And Trump raising prices with tariffs justs makes households poorer and business richer. Naturally, the stock market will record highs when all the indicators are that business will be making much greater profits from households when Trump takes office.

This is a pyramid scheme, only benifiting those who organized it. The government has betrayed its people. Healthcare is either too slow or nonexistant. None but the rich can afford houses (and they usually own multiple and rent them out), jobs are all oversaturated. None of the political parties will stop this as it is too profitable. Indians are not bad people, but the sheer numerical growth is a sick joke on us. I feel like an abused animal in my birth country.

Remain in Mexico applies to arriving aliens applying for asylum, not asylum seekers who have already been admitted. The latter contravenes federal immigration law, and that's something that a President can't do via executive order. As well, if we deport asylum seekers to a different country, or make asylum seekers wait in another country as their asylum cases are adjudicated, the US government is STILL responsible for providing essential resources and ensuring their safety (this includes providing migrant centers) and the US cannot impede on their right to counsel - and by virtue of making them stay in another country that doesn't HAVE US immigration attorneys, this DOES impede their access to legal council, which is an immediate infringement on civil rights and a key reason why Remain in Mexico was challenged up to the Supreme Court and was kept from fully going into effect.

No Canadian government is capable of handling mass immigration of asylum seekers. It's not a Trudeau problem. It's an unfortunate aftermath of a US problem.
