This woman is right. We need people who are willing to sacrifice their time and their old citizenship to become Americans. She sacrificed a great deal to become a true American citizen. I do not want to be a citizen of another country although I have spent time as a guest worker LEGALLYin other countries. I was not allowed to take jobs in those countries (Japan and Germany) that native workers had the right to take. I was not given benefits or a right to vote. I had a passport which I was required to carry at all times because as a foreign worker I could be stopped and questioned about my legal status. My passport showed my working status in country with the appropriate stamp. I accepted these restrictions as part of my working conditions. I wanted to keep my own citizenship as an American although I could have worked to obtain the fluency level required and the citizenship understanding of law and legal procedures to become a citizen. It would have taken time and waiting for an application to clear. That is what it would have required but I wanted to be an American. I did not renounce my citizenship lightly…nor should anyone without work and thoughtful consideration of what it is to BE a member of that country.

The scary part is these violent criminals knows that he can get any type of high capacity semi automatic rifle from a gun show parking lot , no questions asked. Thats crazy. What can the politicians do about that when they take money in bribes from the lobbyists

The journalist was right in her question; his non-answer exposed the Arab world as weak and submissive

How do we raise our voices about this...serious question....we can't look after or create safety for Canadians anymore...we simply can't afford to support the insanity of Trump

This man not answering the question has been asked? He just repeats the same things over and over. The question is, how are they going to know who is a criminal from who is not.

This is idiotic, Undocumented Immigrants paid $96 million in taxes in 2022. 50% of our agriculture workers are undocumented immigrants. Who is going to replace that workforce? Something needs to be done but this is not it. They have no plan to collect and hold the immigrants. Local Police and Sheriff departments are not equipped to nor allowed to (in some states)go chase illegals. Similar bills have been attempted before as an effort to have Police arrest illegals but it was messy and got put on hold for several reasons. No discussion of potential civil rights violations or the question of it being unconstitutional also opens the door for racial profiling. Any person of color would targeted. Most of the immigrants are not from Mexico why would any country accept them? This is the dumbest plan for immigration ever and it won't work.

I am from Europe. You won't find a single country in EU who will not deport immigrants that do not have legal documents. If they find them they will throw them out of EU and those persons will get 5 years ban for apply legally. So I do not understand one thing, if that is perfectly normal anywhere in the World why t f are making problem of it?
\nAnd one more questions for those who are against that ... if someone enter your house through chimney, or some small window in the basement, will you let them stay in your house????? Because if you are against deportation of ILLEGAL immigrants than you have no rghts to be against people entering your house illegally if they want that. Otherwise you are hypocrit.

Trump is going to do whatever the F he wants to do for the next 4 years . That’s what white nationalist and racist Americans want him to do . He doesn’t care and he’s going to be supported no matter what\nStop asking this guy questions you already know the answer to.
|
| 2024-11-09 | 0 |
Migrants immigrants etc have to have a job here in the US to survive. Question who hires them. The people that hire them should be fined heavily or given jail time this will stop illegal from staying in the US. Guess what the US won't fine or give jail time to those that hire the illegals. Funny those are the same people that voted for Trump.

Reporter : But the illegal ppl are contributing to community? should we still deport them?\n\n??? How dumb can u be to ask this question
|

Isn't it common sense on the question what to do with the illegal immigrants. What does any normal human being do with anything that's illegal? Why is CNN always so surprised with this question. Go open up a dictionary and get a definition of illegal, then you will know what to do with them

Why THE FUCK is Dana Bash only just asking these questions now? She couldn't find her tongue during the actual campaign and hold these politicians accountable then?
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
Dana Bash, you continue to be foolish. Stop that nonsensical questioning. They broke the law -- our law. They have to go back to their own country and deal with it LEGALLY.

i dropped a long time canadian female at the ottawa Carling ave womens shelter to get away from an abusive husband...to find out she is dealing with violent fighting migrants and immigrants that have filled the place and taken resources from our own homeless people...and all getting welfare no questions asked....and welfare is less than 500 and odsp is 1100 and you have even more of our own people not able to find rooms or apartments and now more people living in the bushes all along the river from billings to downtown near the bike paths...and the local news is saying they are about to bring 2 big tents and bring in migrants to these 2 new centres they are about to pop up making us the new NEW YORK!

Elon Musk is an illegal. He lied on his petition to become as US citizen. Musk entered the country on a F-l student visa but did not attend college. On the admission for US citizenship a person is asked. Have you ever been in the US illegally. If he had answered the question truthfully he would have been denied his citizenship. A paper trail exist.

You can tell the way she asks the questions she thinks they should all just be allowed to stay here illegally
|

Dana can we ask why American companies are employing *illegal* immigrants and not US citizens? It’s a news worthy question & topic.

Here comes the era of. \n\n$25.00 head of lettuce.\n$10-12 dollar tomatoes\n\nAvocados that are $10 - $15ea. with the terriffs that he is promising to add to EVERY imported item.\n\nChevrolet and Ford cars will now be at the cheapest $100,000 because many interior parts and many other exterior parts are made in Mexico.\n\nOur heavy duty trucks (think Peterbilt and Kenworth as well as Freightliner will now be $250,000 already a new tractor is about $150,000 because many of the parts are hecho en Mexico (made in Mexico). \n\nStaying at any hotel will now triple in cost because there will be an enormous pay hike for those that are documented and are U. S. citizens as well as the promise of huge fines for those using undocumented workers! \n\nThen we are going to have to pay for the labor force housing and health insurance for those that are rounded up and awaiting trials by law until we are sure they are actually illegal we have to keep these individuals healthy or risk being sued by all whose rights are being neglected and will necessitate stop and question anyone who the police think could be an illegal going back to the days of stop and frisk and the days of having to carry your papers with you! \n\nThis is surely going to lower inflation!\n\nWonderful!\nGood going all who voted for Trump!

Once you move inside America, you want American politicians to care about people inside America rather than people outside America. The politician's first duty is towards his/her citizens. You cannot have homeless Americans while illegal immigrants are being put up in hotels.
\nThe real question is, does the USA need more unskilled people, whose primary contribution is manual labor? More and more jobs are going to be lost to AI/Robotics. Think of the scenario where you will have vast swathes of the population unemployed or underemployed. Is that desirable? Think of the chaos that will cause. More doctors and scientists are always welcome to immigrate anytime, and such folks all do so legally.
\nThere are enough people already in America to do what needs to be done. We need to first build infrastructure using existing citizens to enable the next wave of immigrants (several years later) to move here. You just cannot have more and more people put more pressure on an already crumbling and ageing infrastructure, driving up rents for low-income Americans.

I don't think Dana understands what an illegal immigrant is. Her very questions show that she has no clue.

Look at this woman's face as she's asking the question about deporting legal immigrants as if it's some sort of a terrible thing to do .............. I just can't believe it's a taboo issue, this is exactly why the Democrats lost massively this election cycle

BS rinse, repeat. Always how trumps sycophants answer questions. Dana asked you HOW it will be done. Not WHY you want it done. trump has been one of the worst offenders of hiring (and not paying) undocumented workers.

A functioning immigration system must remove illegal aliens
\n
\nRecent disclosures by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that hundreds of thousands of criminal immigrants are at large in the United States raise the question of why the Biden-Harris administration isn’t doing more to remove them. Increasing deportations is a necessary part of fixing what Vice President Kamala Harris refers to as “our broken immigration system.” She is right to describe it that way. But the administration in which she serves was the one to break it, not least by impeding ICE deportations.
\n
\nCurrently, about 1.3 million aliens under final orders of removal — those who have received due process and been ordered deported — are on ICE’s “non-detained docket” of 7 million individuals. These individuals include criminal aliens, whom Congress has directed ICE to detain and remove. But ICE can’t remove many of them because they’re from so-called recalcitrant countries — nations that refuse to provide the U.S. government with the travel documents it needs to facilitate the return of their nationals. The Supreme Court has held that, with only narrow exceptions, even detained criminals due to be deported must be released after six months absent a “significant likelihood of removal in the reasonably foreseeable future.” If ICE can’t get their travel documents, there’s no likelihood of removal.
\n
\nFortunately, Congress gave the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a tool to force recalcitrant countries to comply. Unfortunately, the Biden-Harris administration won’t use it. Under section 243(d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), once DHS notifies the State Department that a foreign country “denies or unreasonably delays” the return of its nationals, the secretary of state must “order consular officers in that foreign country to discontinue granting immigrant visas or nonimmigrant visas, or both,” to nationals of that country. The George W. Bush and Obama administrations used that authority sparingly, each restricting visa issuance to just one country in order to force compliance. As my colleague Mark Krikorian recently noted, “Trump made much wider use of it, and got results.”\nSOURCE, CENTER FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES

Illegal Alien Released Into U.S. Allegedly Pulls Girl Into Van and Sexually Assaults Her
\nMay 10, 2024
\nr
\nIn another case of a horrifying and preventable crime, an illegal alien in Florida is accused of grabbing an 11-year-old girl, dragging her into a van and sexually assaulting her.
\n
\nThe incident unfolded when the victim’s mother noticed her daughter was not inside the home and went outside to look for her.
\n
\nWhile walking around outside, the mother noticed a van with her daughter inside. That’s when she banged on the van and asked the man what he was doing inside with her daughter. The suspect, Marvin Perez Lopez, then apologized and asked for forgiveness as he ran out of the van.
\n
\nThe girl told investigators that the suspect grabbed her and told her to get into the van, where he abused her. She says she tried to get out of the vehicle, but Lopez grabbed her again and pulled her back in.
\n
\nPalm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says the illegal alien suspect confessed to the sexual assault and will face trial in the U.S. before he can even think about being deported.
\n
\nAccording to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Lopez is from Guatemala and entered the United States illegally as a single adult male in January 2024 after crossing through Mexico. He made it to Palm Beach County later in January. How Lopez trekked from the southern border to Florida is unclear. Did an NGO facilitate his travel? It’s a question that should be answered.
\n
\nLopez, like so many illegal aliens entering the country under President Biden’s de facto open-borders policies, willingly turned himself into Border Patrol, likely with the expectation he would be released with a court date years in the future. He was given a notice to appear in 2027 and released on his own recognizance.
\n
\nThe United States has a full repatriation agreement with Guatemala, and Lopez could have been sent back. Instead, he was free to roam in the United States for five years. \nSOURCE, FAIR US org

Alex Garland’s Civil War posed the question: “What KIND of American are you?”\nIf Trump’s wannabe Brown shirts realise expelling immigrants isn’t fixing the price hikes Putin’s war and COVID and now Middle East tensions have foisted upon the entire globe , do these people imagine it won’t be them that get pointed at next?\nGot to feel bad for them because MAGA really doesn’t give one wafer thin sliver of a $#1t about them

Alot of Pollievre love. But one word he hasn't used is Deportations, if elected. And he should. He should and must make it his day one policy to take Canada back out of the Global Migration Pact. O'Toole danced around that question when I asked him. Instantly I knew he was not in politics to represent Canadian voters.

Funny question from uneducated reporter.\nIt’s like she is implying that Arabs have no Palestinians refugees on their lands, which is wrong, you will find Palestinian refugees on every Arabian land and they own the documents to prove they are refugees.

The question is how his voters will react when Trump cannot deliver. Will they hold him responsible this time? They didn't when Mexico didn't pay for the wall and his inept handling of the Covid pandemic where, according to the Lancet Commission ~ 40 % of the Covid deaths (which were a few hundred thousand of their fellow citizens) could've been avoided. Have the voters already forgotten? The whole world watched (and laughed) when he suggested to the doctors to inject bleach into the human bodies to fight covid. It's mind-boggling that someone with such a record has been reelected, not to mention his criminal indictments/convictions ?

I dont understand why America and Canada dont come up with some form of agreement where somehow harmonize immigration and close all of North America to anyone showing up at any border. Turn them around without questions asked.
