Soo-ooo-ooo... How many takers that the German government will listed to the suggestions of how to 'improve'? Or is the gauntlet the new immigrant made to navigate one purpose buit to make it an arduous process?

You know I'm not far right or left, but I think if people would stop,presenting the agrument around economic and just explain and be honest that the problem is about shared cultural values. You don't need immigrants to make your country stronger; you need people who share your values and cultural outlooks for that.

I know a lot of immigrants. They are more annoyed about these immigration cheaters than anyone else. These immigrants have spent thousands of dollars and a lot of time coming to Canada the legal way. These cheaters have jumped the queue and our politicians want to reward them for their crime. Max needs to reach out to the various immigrant communities. If he wants to gain votes, that is where he can make gains.

You said it all. Totally agree. I have been here for almost 30yrs. It has changed so much. You said it all. I specifically see newer Indian immigrants rushing to catch trains or buses disrespecting the discipline of respecting lineups, elbowing people, being rude, wrong side bike riding makes it feel especially in Toronto as if we are in Delhi Gurugram traffic. No rules folliwed. No respect for personal space. Loud music in neighborhoods. Ofcourse immigrants from other nations too, the super rich have bought so many assets and houses in Canada, that they just own, keep them not used, creating nonavailability of living spaces for regular Canadians.

Immigration is a global phenomenon. In my country Mexico, people from different countries coming to live here paying in dollars are making everything for us expensive. The only who benefit from this is the already rich people. Mexicans have to move to poorer neighborhoods. We the Mexicans need to protest too.

Canadian here with what I hope is a level headed view.\n\nI would say that the biggest issue and problem is to be laid at the Liberal Party's feet. Both Canadians and Indians are Pawns in a political game of Chess. Trudeau and his administration are using the Imagination community for votes. BUT, here in Canada, it is becoming no longer acceptable to celebrate our heritage, traditions or even holidays as it might offend Immigrants.\n\nThat's an idea as to the bigger picture.\n\nThe smaller picture is stupid things like an Immigrant the his or her diet doesn't allow the ingestion of Pork/Ham/Bacon.... but say orders a Bacon Cheese Burger then makes a scene because he or she isn't allowed to eat pork... and eventually is given the meal for free. Or in one case the restaurant offered to pay for the entire meal in which the 5 immigrants at the table drank $350 in Alcohol. Yes I have witnessed both. \n\nThere are also cultural issues which cause friction. The language barrier being one major. Especially when an Immigrant tries to claim he or she cannot speak the English or French but holds a valid Driver's license. The license could not be held if the individual doesn't speak English or French. \n\nRegardless, individual issues are small when confronted with a government that treats everyone as Pawns.

Indian students coming to Australia come here to work and bypass immigration laws. Their priority is work to make money to open businesses and sponsor families to come to Australia. Again ypassing the legal immigration laws.

My Indian parents came to Canada from Dubai in the early 80s and I grew up in Canada. The problem is, the Indians coming to Canada now are not the immigrants who used to come here. 20- 50 years ago, when immigrants came to Canada, they understood that they are moving to a new country with different laws, values and culture and they have to assimilate accordingly because they planned to call Canada home. To get into Canada, you had to have some level of higher education or investment means to help develop and add to the economy. But now, over the last 10-15 years, the kind of people coming in are straight out of the villages (mainly north Indians), with no education, low societal values, no care for assimilating and are even criminals who were wanted in India. By using Canada's study permit program, hundreds of thousands of Indians came here with the explicit plan to stay and never go back. To make matters worse, they feel now that they are in Canada, they can break the rules, break the laws and commit heinous crimes. If you look at the Toronto news now, it is ONLY Indians (mainly Punjabi's) committing most of the crimes from extortion to drug dealing to carjacking etc. Even the Indo Canadian community can't stand the people coming to Canada over the last few years, it is NOT a race issue! The issue is too many people from a different culture who don't assimilate!

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. Many come from wealthy families who send them money each month to maintain a Canadian lifestyle. However, some of these students lack discipline and engage in unruly behavior, disregarding the law. Naturally, this leads to frustration and resentment among native Canadians.

I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? Provided that nurses have to complete their certification coutse from their home country which is quite lengthy and sometimes unattainable because of the excess work load on nurses in private hospitals in India especially in Metropolitan cities.\nSo make the policies easier for foreign nurses by taking the experienced nurses and ask them to complete their German Language course once they arrive in Germany probably while doing their bridging nursing program ??

It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. I am Canadian. My problem is not with the Indians, it the rate of immigration is far out pacing our infrastructures to support all of them. There's a lot of greed fueling issues. Foreigners are being exploited for cheap labor and wage suppression, indian students are being pumped into colleges at inflated rates. There was a lobby group called the century initiative that really pushed for 100mil Canadians by year 2100 that seems to have been a big part of why there was such an aggressive push. It's members were affiliated with companies that stood to profit greatly from the housing crisis.\n\nIndians are not the problem. It's a fucked up system and a lag in infrastructure. I want all that come here to thrive, and it's possible. We need to come together in order to problem solve this. \nWe can lead with empathy, and revolt with innovation. Look for opportunities to begin positive feedback loops with locals. I've noticed the accent can really make or break an interaction between Indians and locals. Really focus on perfecting the language and the local manners is my first suggestion for newcomers. \nSecondly is just to get involved. When locals see foreigners joining them in efforts to improve the community we warm up to them. the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. If they lied and cheated on the system i don't think we should feel bad. Canada used to have higher standards. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Most if not all people that come in from Africa are left on the streets while the your country men, indian, and white looking are given a free house, food budget, and dont have to work.. We paying more for taxes and the government has increased work force by 40% yet wait time for services has trippled 3X, make it make sense.

I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

India is currently exporting far too many people to Canada. The mass immigration into Canada is causing huge problems throughout the country. Canadian people are angry because the mass immigration is destroying wages, causing a massive housing crisis and mass inflation on food and everything.\n\nThis is not purely the fault of the Indian people... It is mostly the fault of politicians, corrupt profiteers from cheap imported labour and immigrants entering Canada through false pretenses and illegal entry. Because India is the largest exporter of immigrants into Canada it makes them the easiest group to target.\n\nWhen you add the attacks on established Canadian culture it really stirs up the worst in people. An example that really angers many Canadians is the turban. This may be a part of Indian culture but when people immigrate to Canada and demand to become police and command Canada to change their police uniform for their incoming culture. Imagine Canadian workers entering India and calling the turban racist and demanding they be banned from public view? Would the Indian people accept Canadians if they demanded India change to make them more comfortable there?

Trudeau has taken the Multi out of “Multiculturalism” Canadians and Indians have different values and if we Canadians mention this we are shamed and labeled as racist. I have a few Indian friends and they even say that immigration to Canada from India has gone out of balance. Many Indian people don’t assimilate into western living and many try to find loopholes they can exploit. I don’t like that Sikh men can bring daggers to places like the gym, it makes me feel uncomfortable working out beside someone with a big knife. Indian people wearing a Turban don’t have to wear helmets when riding their motorcycles. If a white Canadian took a big hunting knife into a gym they would be escorted out by the RCMP, and would be ticketed and fined for not wearing a motorcycle helmet. While sitting with one of my Indian friends he mentioned how he would hate to be me, I asked him why, he said as an Indian he can do what he wants and if I say anything I’m shamed and considered a racist. ??

You go, girl!!\nI immigrated to Canada myself and now thinking my kids will be leaving makes me cringe. This nation was destroyed in 9 years. The socialist policies are backed up with data on how poor we are performing and how discontented people are. I will never vote for Liberals again. Their (supported by the NDP) victimization of the vulnerable narrative doesn't help with true productivity and destroys the backbone of a nation which is the upper and middle class. Without a strong supportive society, the lower class suffers. The government's interference in distributing wealth all it does is bring distortion and chaos. Inflation crushes salaries, you cut expenses and stop consuming, companies with high fiscal pressure stop investing, and cut labour; specific groups get help with subsidies while many don't get a cent and have to finance it all; privileges are still rampant. Guess what? Economy collapses. Wake up Canada! For how long are you going to continue to protect this government? Demand JT to resign.

The whole university system is so obsolete and inefficient. Especially doctoral degree programs. We are literally dying because nobody wants to grind themselves into $200K debt. All to become a doctor who ends up spending most of their day filling out mountains of forms. The bureaucracy greed and corruption are destroying this country. Immigration band-aid solutions, to feed an unsustainable growth driven economy, are only going to make everything worse in the long run.

Present Canadian govt is dependent on DNP of Jagmeet Singh (Khalistani supporter). He can make Trudeau dance to his tune. Canadians of Indian origin mostly from Punjab are Khalistani sympathizers and they have fomented enough trouble locally in Canada and are primarily responsible for the poor relations between India and Canada. \n\nSecondly Indian emigration is of highly skilled work force consisting of doctors, scientists, financial experts, bankers, professors, businessman, politicians, and logistics business experts etc. They contribute to the treasury by paying the highest taxes than any other immigrant including european settlers. By and large Indians are peace loving people and excel in their fields. Now Indian origin people are into politics and Canada has a few MPs of Indian origin serving as ministers of defense, foreign affairs etc. \n\nThis xenophobia has to stop. Every wave of immigrants to the new continents have faced these problems be it Irish, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or East European immigrants. The process of assimilation takes a long time and in the meantime there would be some hiccups to which the society will eventually adapt. Every new immigrant group faces hostility from the earlier settled immigrants. It's much harder if the new immigrants don't look like the earlier settled immigrants. This is natural !!!.

In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

When DW makes a documentary about ımmıgratıon ın Germany, and interviews immigrants, Turkish immigrants are left out. How bizarre, totally crazy

Get the right people for the right jobs, if you MUST bring in immigrants!\nThere are plenty of Canadian people who can do low wage jobs. Besides, low wage jobs are a good opportunity for youngsters to learn good skills while earning some money on the side to save for college. They are NOT, and I repeat, NOT for immigrants who have other skills to bring to the Canadian market.\n\nThe IT sector needs a serious overhaul. You need people to fill up roles in corporate jobs to boost production, because Canada is seriously behind in technology. Healthcare needs serious people too. There is no point in bringing promising doctors and healthcare practitioners who can improve healthcare services and the number of capable doctors here, but have them working low wage jobs instead to make ends meet. That is unfair to those people and unfair to Canadians who need good medical services in lieu of the taxes that they pay. Canadian Experience is a joke and a very cheap trick played by the incumbent government to swindle good, deserving people of their hard-earned money.\n\nEnough of bringing in refugees into Canada and destroying the economy by giving them handfuls of money paid by Canadians themselves. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and whoever gets these handouts needs to understand that they need to return the favour with hard work and a sense of contribution towards the country that gave them hope.\n\nI am an Indian, but I still say that Canada should come first. If a government cannot fend for its people, and give them priority, then that government is a failure.
