Canada's International student program was exploited by those whose real intention were to become economic migrants. Agents in India who signed them up to many bogus collages lied to them and said that it was a path to Canadian citizenship, which what totally false. This loophole caused the number of International students to increase from 230,000 a year to over 850,000, with most of those causing the dramatic increase to be from India. Indians scamming other Indians, exactly like in India. The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau was incompetent in allowing this fraudulent behaviour to continue too long and it's why this whole mess happened. About 500,000 young Indians wasted their money and should have never come to Canada in the first place.

International students and Temporary Foreign workers are NOT IMMIGRANTS. Immigrants are the millions of his Chosen Peoplekind from violence--ridden Third world countries that HIMSELF has allowed to invade Canada without any knowledge of their backgrounds and qualifications. And just as he never cares about the consequences of his Performative Caring about any particular group the main impact will be on previous legal immigrants from the same countries as he Newbies will prey upon them just as they did in their real HOME country.

Brampton has 11,000 recent high school graduates who can’t get jobs. Thats because of the international students taking their jobs. They came to Canada to study, not to work. Let the high school kids get their jobs back.

Most people do not know that not only the international students get work permits, their spouses also gets unrestricted work permits. Their children are also allowed to go to Canadian schools and get free healthcare on taxpayer’s dimes.

As an International Student living in Canada and seeing soo much happening here, this video was much needed. But the recent issues regarding new and harsh rules implemented for immigrants should have been covered at the time of releasing this video. Anyways..in short.. it's TOO bad for ANY kind of immigrant right now in Canada..so if you can avoid..please don't come here

Obviously they are not smart enough to understand the difference between INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS & PERMANENT RESIDENTS, when a country has a lousy government there are always some people trying to take advantage ,

I hope this also helps solve the housing problems and the soaring rentals when these temporary workers and international students penetrate the market, aside from the shortage of supply of the food banks, which was misused by the international students.

My kids might pay 1/5 of what international students pay…it’s because I have worked 24 years in this country….I’m in the 40% tax bracket…do the maths . We pay thru taxes.

I’m in Canada for past 2 years. Despite its negatives what I appreciate the most is work life balance and women’s safety. Life is difficult for international students but for those who come here with PR or jobs it’s a little better for them. Anti India sentiments are mostly among Khalistanis. There is absolute logic for non Khalistani Canadians to not like Indians- the quality of people who have been coming here are not exactly the ‘brains’ and crème de la crème of India. They lack basic etiquette and civic sense and have been caught shoplifting, evading fares on public transit. We have no one to blame other than ourselves for this. Otherwise Canadians are very polite and friendly to immigrants. I’ve never had strangers holding doors to public places open for me back in India which I have experienced here.

An international students has to pay 5 times more than a Canadian resident. However, no one is forcing those students to come to study in Canada. \nMost international students are here to easily come in to Canada and get residency. Why would a student need to work here?

International students could be one reason for this too, they come here and get work permit and work and send money in India, the citizens don’t get a job and they don’t invest them .

International students are given student visas here in Canada on condition that they will leave Canada upon completion of their studies. They now have completed their studies. It's time to go back to their country as they agreed on when they applied for student visa.

Everyone is confusing the increase rate of housing aka the housing crisis to the influx immigrants. The reality is most of the homeless people are on the street because Canada has not been able to create employment, stop the drug problem, and provide the people who already having citizenship with proper social scheme benefits. People never ask the quition who is benefiting from the increase in housing prices or what will Canada do if they get the international students who are pouring money into Canada's GDP. It's a fact that Canada is not strong when it comes to manufacturing, growth and other aspects which make a country strong economically. Pushing out immigrants will only hurt the growth of Canada and nothing else.

As a Canadian citizen from an Immigrant background myself, I’m all for Immigration. However, Immigration cannot be coming for the vast majority from a single country, which is India, as per Immigration Canadada own stats, 70% of international students visa were delivered to Indian students, what about the rest of the world ???? Everywhere you go you see indians, dollarama, tim hortons, walmart, and indians are not discrete. No, they don’t have a right to stay in Canada. Once the Visa expires they go back to their country. They are international students not immigrants. At the same time Indian students in particular have been sold the Canadian dream and once arriving in canada they are shocked by cost of living in canada. They end up working low income jobs, barely afford rent and food. This is not something experienced by Indian students only but by all students. Canada is in undeclared recession, the labour market has slowed down while cost of living has surged.

Funny how here in Canada its reported we have a shortage of workers while the unemployment rate is the highest in over a decade.The liberal govt was trying to impose a WEF policy tbat was a total failure Multiculturalism has always been a failure in all western countries look at the UK now.Canada should ban international students and temporary workers from india and africa permenently cause once here they refuse to leave.

They come as international students, a condition for international studies in Canada (and most of the West) is to be able to afford your studies plus upkeep for the duration of study. However they start complaining about work and visiting food banks immediately they enter the country...moreover shouldn't graduates be going home and support the growth of their country.
