I don't know where the figures in that table came from, but I bet that there are some shenanigans behind them. For instance, the UK personal taxation load is heavily weighted by taxes on goods, but big companies often pay very little tax themselves. Ireland is an even more extreme example of that phenomenon - I note their relatively-low placing on the tax-to-GDP table. Multinationals see Ireland as a tax haven these days.\nLet me be clear - I'm absolutely not a a fan of socialism and fully advocate for lower taxes and smaller Government. It's notable that countries with bigger Government (more socialism) tend to take more in taxes. The USA needs to be considered state by state as well due to the differing levels of socialism. High-taxing states contribute less per-capita to federal revenues, but also note that federal support programs tend to concentrate upon those same states. The loudest voices behind the begging bowl tend to be the most socialistic. It's all a big mess - the lack of transparency does not help the case for high-taxing Governments.\n\n\nLastly, considering the current governing dynasty in Canada, I could never live there. Trudeau is a nightmare totalitarian. The events of 2020+ showed some national leaders in a revealing light. Canada and New Zealand are now two countries I could never consider living in. The USA is not far behind in the league of opprobrium. Liberty is a rare thing these days.

During 2008 crash. Canadian didn't lost their home because they keep work and the maj are middle class. In US a lot of citizen lost their home because they lost their jobs to sustain the mortgage specially those don't enough training or profession. Even during the pandemic, Life here is keep going

That is still better than living in india. Quality of life in india is horrible. A single room apartment in india can easily cost between 25000-35000 in cities like pune , Bangalore, hyderabad and Mumbai. Mumbai is the most expensive. Salaries is so bad that an average person simply cannot have any dreams. Also many apartment in india which are rented don't even have gas so cooking food at home is not an option. Quality of food outside is horrible and also expensive. Water is of bad quality as well. So many things in india are actually more expensive than canada for example- phones , laptops, cars , fuel , protein supplements, real estate. My parents don't have enough money to send me to canada. So many times Living in india actually makes me wish I was never born. It's been years since I have stopped celebrating my birthday. Just existing and continuing to live because if I end my life who will take care of my mom and dad.

Very true. I moved to Canada at the age of 20 going on 21 in 1990 and in a few months, I am turning 54. I've been to college twice and I could not get a job in the fields I studied for; instead I am working in a factory and I've worked hard. I'm on medical leave, but I'm now waiting to return to work and my employer has not been making it easy to return. I plan to return to my home country once I retire, because I hate winter weather and when it gets cold, my arthritis flares up and it will get worse as I age. It's very expensive here, car insurance, house insurance, phone bills, grocery bills, property taxes, and federal taxes. You work and work and you get 2 weeks vacation and sometimes, you don't even get to enjoy it. I remember getting sick when I took my holidays. You work long and crappy hours for just enough money to pay expenses and you don't really get to enjoy life. Canada is a beautiful country, but when do you get time to explore and enjoy it? Right now for me, it seems to be when I retire I'll be able to do that, if I can afford it (remember, taxes are high).

I beg to differ. A ranch the size of a mansion in Texas is less than half the price of a mediocre home in Montreal. And no income tax in many states. Are you kidding me? And I am not even touching the car market and gas...I lived in both US and Canada and all I can say life is cheaper in the US. Unless you live in Cali. Cali is a country of idiots of its own. Texas Arizona, New Hampshire and many more are better places to live than Toronto or Vancouver

Canada is not worth coming to if you own a home in your current country and are generally happy, have a decent job and family, don't come here because it will not be easy or better than what you have. You will have to start from nothing, working the worst jobs cleaning hotels and toilets or working minimum wage in a retail store, even if you are a professional in your home country. There is nothing better here, nothing is free unless you come as a refugee. This country is the anti-dream of America. The taxes are very hi, the rent is unaffordable, to buy a house you have to make $200,000k a year, so basically you will be screwed. There is no way to save for retirement in Canada, so don't think life will get easier. In Canada you will get stuck working well beyond your retirement years like into your 70's you will work here until you drop dead. My parents are 70 and still work because they are still paying off their mortgage, while they get retirement $1,300 per month which is the standard is a joke since it doesn't cover the basics, you need $6,000 at least to survive for a month, to buy food, gas for your car, carinsurance, phone bill, utilities, anything else, just the basics. What the government gives you is completely unrealistic to the times, considering the amount of money people pay in taxes you don't get enough during your retirement years, the government has no use for you so they dont care about you when you get old.

My husband’s family in Morocco leave their front door open all night sometimes and we just are 99.9% sure that nobody will mess with them. I’ve walked by many people’s homes who had their doors open. My husband and I lived in Marrakech, and we left our patio door open all night many times. Granted, the patio was fenced in, but I wouldn’t even leave my balcony door open in the US. When I lived in NYC I seriously had somebody climb up my building one time and try to get in my window. Spider-Man ass thought it was his ex girlfriends apartment and just tried to come right in.\n\nEdit-\nWhen my husband and I were engaged, we were driving around one night with his family there in Morocco. I just wore house shoes because we weren’t planning to go anywhere and we drove by a jewelry store. My mother in law insisted we stop and look at the rings there. I was too embarrassed to get out, so they were like “Okay, just stay here and we’ll do it for you.” They let my mother in law walk out of the jewelry store with a bunch of rings and weren’t even worried we’d steal them. I was, and still am shocked. When I mentioned how surprised I was, everyone seemed confused. They were like “What’s the big deal?”

A lot of the points you touch on are valid and true. Canada is very vast and beautiful and social programs are adequate, although they could be better funded. However cost of living is insane and wages aren't keeping up with inflation. Good paying jobs are hard to come by as the market is oversaturated with minimum wage work; which even those jobs are very competitive to attain. If not for inheritance, I never would have been able to afford purchasing my own home here.

First off Canada is not a systemically racist country I’m white I’m also poor and I’ve lived here all my life nearly everyone excluding the native population in a immigrant or a descendant of a immigrant my mom is Portuguese and I also have black family members we are no more racist than anyone else in any other country. Every country has a few homeless people and that number has grown immensely due to poor Liberal government policy when I was young there were maybe one or 2 homeless people in my home town and they were severely mentally Ill homelessness has greatly increased since pm Justin Trudeau has been in power and that’s something I can say I have observed first hand living here in Ontario Canada for 30 years - my entire life. Canadian tax payers don’t want to pay for drug addicts to get more drugs the Liberal Canadian government have set up “safe injection sites” and “ methadone clinics” that basically give these addicts more drugs that are payed for with our tax dollars again these clinics and safe injection sites didn’t exist when I was a kid and since then the number home homelessness has increased as well as the number in population addicted to drugs. As someone from Belgium that now lives in Columbus OH because of marriage, you're spot on with everything. Safety? Limited. Sprawl? Terrible. Rent? Eh it's not that bad. I make a base salary of $82.5k and my wife makes $50k. Our 2br 1ba apartment's rent is about $1000. It's a nice place, but it has some flaws. Our next place will be around $1500. I've told my wife I don't like the sprawl and lack of public transport here and I want to move to a place where that is less of an issue: Chicago, NYC or Boston. However, the latter two have crazy high rent.\n\nI must add, the terribly unsupported public education system in Columbus is by far the worst reason. My wife is a teacher at a Columbus City School that's almost 100% black. White families put their kids through private schools. The rest of the kids have terrible home lives and are therefore incredibly ill-behaved and under-educated. So much so that the teachers just CANNOT keep up with Ohio's learning standards. By the time these kids graduate (and that's a big IF), they would have learned about 20% of what a regular 18-year old would have learned in most of the world. This is in part due to:\n1. Parents that do not involve themselves in what their children do, and therefore do not discipline appropriately.\n2. Terrible school admins that force teachers to lower their standards to have a high passing rate for the school (otherwise it gets shut down). Also, due to the No Child Left Behind Act, admins also force teachers to teach how to pass state tests (repetitive bullshit) instead of important learning materials and/or critical thinking skills.\n3. A lot of these students are pushed into the gang lifestyle and see no future in their education. They don't even try.\n4. Burned out teachers that grew tired of the negative ROI and start giving out poor and inadequate work packets. However, I don't like blaming teachers, especially because my wife is the hardest working person I know.\n\nIt's hard to see my wife come back every day, exhausted. It pains me both for her and her kids. America doesn't give a fuck about education. The big theory is that they're purposely not giving public schools attention so they can be phased out and private education becomes the norm. And if you can't afford it? That's great, we need factory workers.\n\n\nI might convince my wife to move to Europe eventually (luckily a European marriage visa isn't as stupidly hard to obtain as it was for me to get here). Having kids in America is not something I'd like to think about. For now, I'm taking advantage of this high salary to save as much as I can and focus on advancing in my career. International students don't even get good value courses to come here from their home countries. It looks like a scam going on in the education system in Canada.

I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

When I lived in NJ, people would work in NYC but wanted to live in central or southern NJ. I had a job that paid me $22/hour back in like 2012. But I worked with a guy who quit his job in the city because he couldn't stand the commute. Him and his family moved to a cheaper area of NJ (still nice, but cheaper) and he took a job where I worked. He told me that if I was driven, that same job paid $40/hour. And even then, he couldn't really afford to live comfortably in the city. But eventually he found it most beneficial to take a lower paying job closer to home and find a cheaper place to live. That is city living though. It's always way more expensive. But I agree, living in a city in the US is ridiculous when it comes to cost of living.

You guys are out of touch. Not sure where you live but Ontario is less safe than the US in my opinion, and it correlates with the lack of self defense/firearms rights. Our population is 10x less and many urban areas aren't as densely populated as their American counterparts, so of course crime rates will be lower. That doesn't mean they're not still significant and rising at alarming rates. You can't even use your registered firearm to legally protect your home, let alone us pepper spray to defend yourself from a rapist. People are given the illusion of being safer, when in reality they are extremely vulnerable and defenseless.

I lived in the Philippines for 27 years and we always lock our houses even when we're inside the house coz people (junkies, psychopaths, crazies) just force themselves inside and try to mug us for our belongings and we can't even report it because some u police are crooked, lazy and corrupt. But once i migrated to winnipeg (considered as the murder capital of Canada), i felt safer, believe it or not. I tend to forget locking/closing my garage door and once i come back, everything's still there, nothing gone, considering that i live in the north end (one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in winnipeg). Plus, everyone's just so damn friendly and welcoming. Love it here! But i still prefer living in the Philippines despite being not as safe. Home will always be home.

I am an American born in NY, raised in VA. I also lived in Van Nuys for a year, also lived in Texas before my job industry moved me to Canada. \ni have been in Canada for 7yrs, been to Vancouver, Toronto and MTL and to be honest i like a lot of things in Canada like the health care differences and of course the lower insulin cost for my husband but i still want to go back home. If anything i would stay in Toronto because it's the closest similarity to home but where Aba and Preach live, in Montreal, it's literally been my nightmare. I feel like the tap water at least in my area has gotten worse over time. \nOne thing i feel like they didn't mention that I have to tell people from America to watch out for is the credit card vs debit card thing. \nI grew up only having debit cards because i didn't want to get into debt. when i came to Canada i continued getting a debit card and realized the hard way that not everything accepts debit cards and you NEED to also have a credit card to access certain things.\nbut overall i do feel much safer in Canada even though the crazy trump lovers are showing up here and there it's significantly less than i see when I'm back home.

The socioeconomic flaws are much difficult to compare considering the very foundations that birthed America as well as its intricate and dense population. There are variety of implications that comes to accommodating a diverse population of 380 million which is 10 times the population of Canada (these can also be structural). The rent in Montreal is not as high relative to major urban cities in America simply because of the demand. People simply do not want to live in Montreal at the same rate that they do for places like San Francisco and New York. Moreover, places like New York and San Francisco, (this can also include Toronto/Vancouver), have rigorous rent controls as well as zone restriction laws that limits the capacity for home builders to produce affordable housing, (especially when compared to Quebec). I live in Canada, but I even I must admit that economic success and freedom is much higher in the U.S. Name me another Western country with more african Billionaires/Millionaires than America? Canada is immensely reliant on Government to regulate trade and commerce and due to our lack of entrepreneurial spirit, I expect that we will remain a commodity-based economy for decades. This is especially a sad reality if interest rates continue to rise, as it will negatively impact the purchasing power of our dollar which is indexed to commodities . \n \nCheers,

i'm from the 6ix and facts! i sometimes don't lock my doors too. i also grew up in the hood specificall rexdale. when i visited a friend in the bronx, MY GOOOOD! their hood is 10x worst. it's crazy! even though i lived in the hood, it was not the same as the bronx. we had to return home by sundown. crazy

I’m from Miami and moved up to Toronto in 2012. I’ve slowly watched this city decline in every way possible. Gun crime, drugs, prostitution etc. The whole gay and trans movement is outta control too. That being said the violence isn’t even close to what I grew up around back home. There’s a lot of wannabe gangs out here. I used be gang affiliated and I’ve met ALOT of fake thugs out here. Toronto's biggest issue is spill-over into the rest of the Greater Horse-Shoe, one of the weirdest issues was at the beginning of the Pandemic, there was this weird mass exodus of the Toronto Population where everyone was moving to smaller cities to work from home, the costs of Homes in Hamilton, Halton, Burlington, Mississauga, Vaughn, Richmond all exploded is costs due to this. COL in these cities is now very high. Like the Average house in Hamilton now is about 500k-600k, Hamilton doesn't even have a Million in Population yet.

This is why Canada wants all the immigrants to come work here so they can drain all their income in taxes to pay for all the old people draining the system. They need workers at low paying jobs to work double hrs. paying double taxes to pay for senior's health care etc. They are also consumers who will have to spend what's left of their pay cheques to just feed and clothe themselves. Leaving so little left to actually do anything with. As a 5th generation Canadian I have struggled all my life to just keep food and home to live and raise my kids on very little. Now due to what has happened in Canada and the economy, inflation, skyrocketing housing prices, my kids will never be able to own a home in their own country. It's sickening. Canada is cold. Canada is not fun. Least fun because of all the rules on everything. Taxes and fees on everything. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore. YOu have to have a car or fly but be damned if you can hop the old Greyhound and go from Vancouver to Toronto anymore and save a few bucks. It's sick and dysfunctional here.

Hi I'm from Panama and here we are getting more and more visitors from Canada note that I don't say tourists that's because I noticed that they are like on a exploration mission asking prices for everything I guess they are looking for some sort of tropical paradise. There are a couple of things you must consider before going to Canada it's cold as hell even the warmest winter there in cold as hell if your from the tropics, work ethic is totally diferent a couple of minutes late to work is a no no,taking it easy no no, or relaxed easy going of the tropics is a no no, etc. and the social customs vary depending on the predominant immigration in the area. Also take into consideration that some countries are implementing to deduct a percentage of your social security check if you move overseas to live as a expat. For those planning to go to Canada to work retire and go back to there home countries.

one of my cousin is been living in canada for the past 20+years, about the healthcare, it is much worst even compared to countries like Pakistan or India, my cousin was suffering from renal kidney disease and he had to make a kidney transplant but he was not able to get on that surgery, first he was refused of getting any donor in canada and then finally when he arranged his own donor from Pakistan, they did not give the visa to the donor and finally my cousin had to travel all the way back to Pakistan and get his treatment done here, despite all this the Canadian government after all the rush never replied to a single email from my cousin or his donor and finally he had to take a huge risk of travelling miles back home!!so the healthcare in Canada really sucks big time...thumbs up for making this video!!best of luck!!happy holidays!

The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. Most of the land is crown land, ( even land designated for logging ) the government allows you temporary camping privileges of up to 2 weeks on that land (you can not homestead on it) , the rest is reserved for agriculture or for First Nations. Only 5% is available for freehold housing accommodation , which is why Canada is in a housing crunch. The availability of livable land is so scarce because the land that was available when the country was born was given away to homesteaders. That meant that the land was given away in large parcels. Now it’s almost impossible to make those parcels into smaller parcels without doing what is called a “land assembly” . A land assembly means a developer buys a sum of large parcels , then applies for a permit to sub divide into a new subdivision consisting of smaller houses. Even then the smaller houses that are built will still cost a small fortune, because the developer and all the people involved take a sizeable profit from the sale of the homes.

Interestingly, all the people interviewed seemed to have had a first degree in Nigeria considering how new they are in Canada, even the interviewer, thus if Nigeria is so bad how did they blend easily with the Canadian system if they learnt/gained nothing from home? The problem with mankind is that we all forget to thank God for little mercies. We focus only on what we lack but not thankful for the little we have. I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

With all these new people it will be even harder to meet our environmental goals. More cars on the road more garbage in land fills. More heat used to warm homes etc. Not well thought out.

How prepared is Canada to service this amount of people adding to a population that is already under serviced in every area of life, there's healthcare, housing etc. Our healthcare system is in the brink of collapse just trying to service the current population we have, then there's not enough better jobs to survive, even for Canadians on home soil and more people are now depending on welfare, food is dwindling, there's more homeless people than ever, the number of addicts are growing, crime is rising, I could go on and on with the innumerable problems that is not being addressed on Canada's home turf, yet the government's focus is to bring in more immigrants to Canada to feed, house and care for healthwise? Just asking.

Who will stop this unfettered invasion by cultures that have no respect for our norms, mores, & way of life?! I live in a city neighbourhood that is immigrant central & can say confidently from immediate & personal experience that the majority here are not fleeing anything, popping from country to country to grab money & send it back home then, when they have enough, they retire back to their homeland. Most have no respect for private property nor for any of the norms of a polite society, they don't even wish to learn our language sufficiently to understand & respond. Most of my life I supported immigration but not this way, not with zero oversight. All political parties support it for the sake of getting more votes but the Liberals are the worst.

More people equals higher demand for things like food, medical and shelter. Won't that make the problem even worse since we don't make much domestically here anymore or build homes because the red tape and cost of materials? Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

I am an Indian and even I will not support this. Religion should be followed in homes and not in institutions like colleges. The educational institution can have its own rules. Incidents of rage can happen at any time and can not be predicted.

This is the reason why most Asian that come from the upper middle income and high-income countries only came to Canada for citizenship. After that, they go back to their countries to work and live. Especially those that retired. My parent and their friends already bought the property back home, and with the retirement fun they receive here, they have a really good life back home. They are even able to afford their maids. I just feel sorry for the senior that retired here in Canada.
