Loved this video. So real!! I think it's so important to always be moving forward in life. If Canada is that next step for you that's great, but if you've been here for a few generations and it's no longer serving you in the ways you need there is nothing wrong with searching for something more. I think for so long people have looked at Canada as this utopia and/or ultimate finish line destination but once you're here it's quite a shock at how difficult life really is here because of how expensive it is. There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. But its not great, and it hasn't been great in a long time, everything went down la toilette after 2001, and here we are, it should never be a difficult decision, most Canadians are brainwashed into thinking its a great place. Most Canadians are terrified to step out into the unknown, so like a caged bird, it prefers the caged life. If you ACTUALLY leave Canada, you'll feel the weight literally lift off. Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. Canada has not been the same as it was 10 years ago, why I say 10?, because life in Canada before Trudeau was great, people were happier, Canadians were proud to be Canadian and Canada was a place many people wanted to visit and immigrate to. Since Justin Trudeau has been our PM, Canada has become a terrible place, housing prices have doubled, cost of living doubled, pretty much everything in Canada has doubled including crime and drugs. Trudeau is the problem with Canada and once is out as PM, Canada will slowly get better.

I have a similar background as I immigrated to Canada when I was 6 years old. I haven't travelled across 50 countries like Alina but I'm well travelled and Canada is still, in my opinion, the best country in the world. Besides the strong passport and political stability Alina mentioned, Canadians also benefit from the great healthcare system, environmental protections, capital markets, educational system, labour standards, etc. This country has afforded me a wonderful career that allowed me to build wealth while giving me substantial financial flexibility and freedoms. Canada is not perfect but I'm so grateful to my parents for moving us here.

As an immigrant in Canada, this countries infrastructure simply isn’t built for the progression it’s tried to achieve, hence the failure. I’m leaving in December to go back home as even though I earn really great money, it’s just simply not the lifestyle reflected by what I put in.

Alina is more beautiful than before, I am curious where you will go. In face, Canada is good to raise children, but when they grow up and you are free on yourself, it is better to change to live in other countries. South america and Southeast asia are among good choices. Selling your house will stop paying the ever rising government tax and strata fee but gives you a more affordable housing while plenty left for buying medical insurance abroad. Saving of 35-45% tax can easily buy a descent plan. Canada is great but the cost of living is far more greater! In long run, Canada will become more occupied by Indians and other third world countries immigrants who like to raise large family to maximize their welfare and send children to school for free. The employers like cheap labour and bigger consumer size so they support Treadue. The foreign students in my company ridiculously work more than study. Bureaucratic inefficiency is also prevailing in many governmental bodies, federal and provincial alike. Large private companies are not much better.

Most liberals will support and vote for liberal Policies, but then when those policies are enacted, the liberals dislike the results so much, they leave. And then they repeat the same process never taking responsibility for the monster they helped create. That is my take on you and your video. You claim Canada is still a great place to live, yet you are running away, hypocritical much ? I have been shocked to learn how Canadians have given up r surrended their freedoms to the politicians. Legalizing hard drugs and the permissive application of the law is disturbing. I've always had a high regard for Canada, but giving up the right to protect yourself or your family is too much, too draconian. I don't think most people understand just how long and environmentally challenging the Canada-US boarder really is. In this video we're talking about only a very small section of the border along New York State and New England, but going west the boarder goes on for literally thousands of miles.\n\nBecause of the great distances and vast amount of wild land up north vs the population size on both sides of the border, it makes it almost impossible to actively patrol the entire length of the Canada-US border.\n\nThis is not just a problem on the US side of the border. Irregular crossings are also happening into Canada.\n\nThe best thing the two countries can do is to actively work together on this issue.

Canada is great if you're young. But if you're older and your health has inevitably started to decline, you don't want to live there. The healthcare waitlists could kill you.

Are you considering moving to Russia. Or China? That would be great for you. I think a major problem for Canada is that it allows dual citizenship. Many countries do not allow this and we have many who hold Canadian citizenship but don't pay their fair share of income taxes (because they work in another country) and only show up once every six months to acess health care services.

Leaving may solve your problems but only for very short time, because whatever place you end up in, it may be no better, and good deal worse, since you won't be a citizen there.
