This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

You want to live in Toronto, the third largest city in North America on average salary? I think that’s an unrealistic expectation when you compare the rent to cities like New York and Miami. I think given its current size and growth trajectory, Toronto is still on the affordable size and it will get much more expensive in the future. I visited Toronto and the GTA area, all you can see is new construction, businesses packed with people. May be Canada bit more than it could chew and the economy has not grown since COVID making inflation pinch even more. My only problem was due to the rapid expansion, the city seemed to lack a soul which comes through organic growth. All I could see was broad highways, residential areas packed with housed and large shopping complexes.

I'm an American in America and the fact that my country thinks it's humanitarian to have them come to America but I don't want the Palestinian people to lose their ancestral homelands. Let them stay and build towards a peace without their children and other innocents dying???

I really don't care that you're trying to make a better life for their family or for themselves in America stay away we are full if we weren't full and we had room for them I wouldn't care that they're coming to make a better life but when we don't have any more room you better get out of the country or stay away or they should find out what happens when they don't listen to the USA the country they want to come to.

I’m Hispanic and I don’t appreciate this behavior from people coming to this country in this manner. It’s not sustainable and it’s going to throw the country off balance. 16:40, speaking of making friends. I saw this video once from a girl on YT and she is German. She had this theory about how people behave in the US (and in Canada by extension, from my experience) and how they behave in Germany and in Europe I would say, in general. People in North America are like peaches (soft on the outside but really hard on the inside, meaning that they seem friendly, but when it comes to knowing them better, they don't let too much of their personal life). People in Europe are like coconuts (hard on the outside, but soft on the inside, meaning that they would seem inaccessible at a first glance, but if you spend more time with them, they will become very warm towards you and they can be very loyal friends).

Rising cost of living is a trend especially when inflation is high in North America, the government should be more proactive in increasing the housing supply and creating affordable housing. Canada immigration system is skill based but the country also needs blue collar workers to fill jobs needed in the economy. I read too many articles where doctors work in factories there. The last is job growth, the government needs to invest in infrastructure and create environment for business to come to the country. Yes, US has the same problems but the salaries are higher south of the border. The average Facebook employee receives 800K compensation yearly.

Why and how the great, rich North America got to this state of misery in 21 century?! What are the real reasons? For example why in 21 century there are more mental disorder patients whom are not supported by a rich , resourceful government and eventually end up to the streets?! Why there was not such problem in 19 or 20 th centuries? How the society was taking care of them back then? Or, why when people lose their physical ability to work, there is not a system of permanent support for them? Why there are not enough houses built for those who have been disadvantaged for real reasons? I mean most of these homeless people are not addicted. A lot of them are willing to work and contribute to society, yet there are not enough support for getting them back to a normal lifestyle! Why rich governments are not making their countries a better , healthier, safer place for their citizens? But only having talks in wef conferences! It sounds all fishy and intentional to me. They should have come up with ways of solutions to end this. Yet we see it getting deeper and bigger. Isn’t it weird that over 350 000 people are homeless in a vast, rich country such as Canada?!

America needs to not help the Mexicans financially so they don't keep coming over. anyone hiring any person with out a green card or any type of permission should lose their license business and stop business immediately. The solution to all these problems is not to make the Palestinians a Muslim or Arab country. We want peace, but if the time comes and our governments allow us, we will support our Palestinian brothers in the jihad against Israel, but we don't want war, we want a peaceful world, but that's all they want. . It will be possible to establish an independent Palestinian state by ending the Israeli occupation. When the Palestinians have their own country, why should an Arab or Muslim country keep the Palestinians as refugees in their country? No European country or America should keep Jews as a shelter, it is not possible and if this cruelty, brutality, terrorism does not end, then know that Israel will have to suffer the most dangerous consequences. Time will not stop if the Muslim governments do not declare war against Israel, then the Muslim people will declare war, and if the Muslims rise up, America and Europe will be in no position to stop the Muslims, but we are not. War, we want peace and this is only possible when this occupation ends, this oppression ends and an independent Palestinian state is established.
