As an American citizen that has lost job opportunities because these immigrants are here ILLEGALLY -- I'm ok with this. People are perfectly able to self deport and file the proper applications to come here legally. If not, they will never be allowed back if ICE gets them first, then they will be on the federal criminal list for sneaking in without authorization.

Who gives ? \nGet em out \n\nI'm noticing that there are some folks doing some serious whining about the Trump administration. So I thought I'd post some thoughts. \n\n1. Accept the fact that this is the leadership that we (the majority of) working, middle class Americans wanted. We are pulling the economic weight in this country and we are tired of pulling the weight of those that do not contribute.\n\n2. If you haven't already, get a job. Every business in the country is hiring. And you get paid for the work you do. And the harder you work and the more you learn, the faster you will advance, and the more you will earn. It's an amazing concept.\n\n3. Understand that if you are a U.S. Citizen, or have already started the legal process to become a U.S. Citizen that you are not going to get deported! I don't care what your favorite liberal media channel says.\n\n4. Tariffs are a bargaining chip. When you are in business you make deals, and sometimes you have to play hardball. That's how you get the deals you desire.\n\n5. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects you from discrimination by age, sex, race, etc. DEI openly violates this. Democrats want you to believe the opposite is true because they value your vote more than your quality of life.\n\n6. It's not the government's money, it's your money. You absolutely should give a damn about how it is spent.\n\n7. We are not the World Bank. If other countries need help they should raise their own finances. I don't recall receiving any hurricane relief money from India or China.\n\n8. Drill baby, drill. Want to know why? Because we have it. Are electric cars the future? Not in their current form. There is way more oil in the ground than lithium, and guess where most of that is? China. Want food prices to come down? Then energy costs have to come down. And that means oil, gas, coal, and nuclear. Unicorn farts and liberal tears won't power your car!\n\n9. The economy and the security of the country are far more important than your feelings, get over it.\n\n10. There are men and there are women. Simple as that.\n\n11. Education is to establish a learning core that prepares a child for the real, working world. Anything else is wrong.\n\n12. Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States and he won by a landslide — both the popular vote and the electorial vote. Get over it.

Perfectly right.... when you break the laws don't expect to be treated like kings..... and yes I'm pretty much Indian...... These guys are lucky.... Trump should send them back the way they came without anything on them instead of wasting fuel and american taxpayer money on their flights...... if they could dish out 50K USD to get there illegally.... they surely can find their way back and pay up.... or then keep them all in Guantanamo until they don't pay for their own airfare back. The people protesting in India are mostly the opposition who hates trump... the bunch that was financed by soros. I’m sorry, but if you can’t see how this is a problem for our country, then you need your head examined. Because what nobody tell you, American citizens were evicted from their homes, evicted, no warning, no severance package, nothing. Why. Because we have to house these people. Now you tell me. You go home and there is an eviction notice. Your dumbfounded as to why so you go ask. It’s so we can house illegal immigrants. Is that ok. You have no problem with them coming here, so I bet you have no problem with Americans being evicted so we can house these people, right?

I have a hard time believing that our government finds so much money to allow illegals to function. I’m a veteran so I have had the opportunity to visit other countries and you can’t pull that crap anywhere but here. You can’t work or rent or anything without proper paperwork. Our government should just takeover the Mexican government and end the corruption that keeps these talented and hardworking people down so much they risk everything to get here to do what they should be able to do there. It's not just all the parties supporting Canada's counter tariffs. The Canadian people are in support, across political, cultural, economic and geographical lines. Canada has not been as unified about anything that I can remember (and I'm old). Plus, Canadians are a stubborn people with a more community oriented attitude than the USA and we don't like bullies. If we have to change brands of food, stop drinking bourbon and American beer, pay a bit more, even pay more taxes to cover the costs for people affected... so be it. BUT... when the tariff's are lifted, don't be so sure we'll just start buying American again. Stubborn also means we don't let things go easily.

There’s nothing Canada can do when they have a surplus of 150 billion with US so if US put terrace at 25% and can put Terrace at 25% then Trump put it at 100 who’s gonna feel the pinch everything that has American they have gas they have wood they have all the minerals of Canada has they don’t need Canada for anything. Only US thing i consume are digital services. A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.
