Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. It is a safety net for hand up, not a handout .You guys like to pick your presidents and what your comedians will make for a living for the next 4 to 8 years. Up here we pick our Prime Minister‘s based on what they do up until they are seeking election and vote accordingly. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you.There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. What the hell is that and I have never seen anything in your news down there about your native society we try to acknowledge and integrate them quite frankly, you guys are just worried about yourselves and not about anybody else

Born and raised in Canada. Grew up believing anyone could do well here if you apply yourself as an average person. Household income was higher then the USA and for the most part 'middle class life' was pretty attainable. Now I've had some bumps along the way that has nothing to do with this to set me back, but today I look at the 'make a life market' and the opportunities are none. You either own a home and are doing well, or your a renter going backwards every year because of inflation and the brain drain. Entrepreneurs have left the country. We as a country have not done much since the 1980's. We stagnated in The Boomers success and never made a future for their children. Then in the past few years, we have rampant immigration to add to the fire. Canada, for a lack of words is a Dumpster Fire. DON'T MOVE HERE!

As long as Americans like yourself dismiss all the data to the contrary the U.S will continue to have the tragedies it does, When you look up mass shootings which is where there are more than 2 victims per incident you'll find Canada doesn't even register in those statistics because where the U.S has 600 mass shootings a year Canada hasn't had 600 in its last 100 years. So that is why Canadians mention school shootings as a reason, because the potential is real for it to happen. It is preventable tragedy but Americans as a whole need to want that change, until it does the rest of the world will always bring up gun violence and school shootings when the U.S is in the discussion. But once in, they repeatedly spit on the Americans and constantly laugh at them as they are receiving free welfare, hotel, insurance, food, etc, (they even post videos on the same). while the Americans are homeless and cannot even receive any help from their own government. I don't think that the comments that you are looking at are intended to be harsh, but I do think that they do reflect the honest experiences and feelings (without malice) of those Canadians that tried to adjust to life in the US.

I can't help but feel there is a entirely biased narrative going on here the problem with the pandemic is that it left people who had some mental issues.
