I'm neither American or Canadian, I'm Swedish but I lived in LA and Santa Monica from January 2011 to May 2012 (I went to Santa Monica College) and I have to agree with all the people who say no. My reasons are definitely the health care situation. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and medicine for all that and doctor's appointment fees are way to costly even with insuarance (here in Sweden we don't need insurance because our health care is payed for by taxes, and the costs of medicines and doctor's appointments are much lower). Also I'm openly gay and that is much easier to be here in Sweden than in the U.S.. Homophobia is much more common in the U.S., and much more violent.

For all the amazing things the US has to offer, right now we don't even want to visit there, let alone move there. We've talked about it a lot, but nope. In Canada, generally speaking (although there are exceptions to every rule) we have no idea what political leaning our neighbors favor. Political campaigns last no more than 51 days; they do not start the day after the last election and go on for years. This way, elected officials actually do some work instead of campaigning. Right now, the politics in the US, as well as the judiciary, are literally insane. Gun violence in the US is insane, as is the attitude towards guns. It shouldn't take a shooting that affects you personally to make you care about it, and it's not just at schools. The US has had 28 mass killings, with 140 victims, in 6 months... but the problem is that no one down there cares about that enough to stop it, or even discuss ways to stop it. The politics is so sold out to corporations that what is good for the people just doesn't matter. It is capitalism run amok. Environmental protections? They are an inconvenience, and most of them were rolled back a few years ago under the presidency of He Who Must Not Be Named. So politics, elections, shootings... but wait. There's more. I have a wonderful friend in the US who has amazing health care, and yet when he got cancer, he was screwed. We do pay a health care premium up here, but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what people in the US pay for private insurance. Yes, you have the best hospitals in the world, but it doesn't matter if you can't afford to walk in the door. Now dump the intolerance -- racism, homophobia, religious zealots, misogyny (yes, I am talking women's rights, equal pay, access to health care, etc) -- throw in the crazies with guns, and now ask the question again. I absolutely know that Canada is not perfect, and that the tolerances and attitudes towards all these subjects differs from region to region, but overall we are a country that tries to respect the rights and needs of others, that has empathy for others, that wants to help others, and that is a pretty firm foundation to make us want to stay here. (please don't interpret this as all Americans and all areas of the US have no respect etc... but the predominant issues of health care, politics, religion, corporate greed, and violence, now all supported by a bat-crap crazy SCOTUS, sadly spills and taints it all. I know there are amazing, generous, kind people all over the US, but I don't know where the crazies are or where they might pop up).

hi tyler. another Canadian here. I'm gonna have to state the obvious stuff healthcare. gun control. woman's rights. But i want to go into a little more detail. My nearest hospital has a air ambulance helicopter. In America a Regular ambulance can cost you up to 5k and An air ambulance in the USA can go upto $36,000.\n\nin Ontario i'd pay NOTHING for a regular ambulance and 45 Dollars for the helicopter You're not even in the hospital And we're already talking stupid amounts of money

A couple of hundred bucks a month for health care? I'm paying maybe a little over $400 US a year through my income tax return. Many years ago I had lunch with a Blue Cross rep trying to sell our firm a group insurance plan. She admitted that even basic limited coverage in California cost way more than what we as an employer were paying for our government health insurance. My point is, sure, your company provided health insurance may seem to be free to you, but imagine the hit your employer takes on the bottom line for it. And think of how much more your take home pay could be without those exhorbitant premiums.

In Canada the media and the government just exploites american gun violence to strip away the little right we have left in regard to guns. Much of that fear is overblown. As for healthcare, it has it's up and downs. People get all excited with our free but lame health service and always forget to say that it ain't really free. We are over taxed for it. In Quebec I pay around 35% income tax plus 15% purchase tax plus the gas and alcool that is taxed at a higher rate. On top of that we get two carbon taxes that in the end we are the ones paying for it. Over half of our income goes in taxes. I'm pretty sure that 99% of the time, in the US, you get more and better services for less money. Not saying that US is better than Canada. I think that depending where you live, it evens out.

As a middle aged, single white guy with no children, making an average wage in Canada... you couldn't even pay me double to move to the US. Even during my one week visiting Vegas and San Diego, I always had an uneasy feeling that anything could happen at any time. But yeah, throw in the health care, political and other issues... pass.

A sizeable number of Canadians do move to the US. The climate is better and in some fields the pay is better in the US than Canada. In most other ways, Canada is better; often by a considerable margin. The US has a lot to offer but no, I wouldn't move to the US; even if they doubled my salary. I'm content to just visit. I do go to the US more than any other country though. I've been there 7 times.

As a Canadian he’ll no I would never move to the USA crazy politics god help us all of any of those crazies are elected in the next election you’re country will become a fascist country no decent health care I wish Americans would stop saying that the health care system is restricted and we can’t go to certain doctors and we let the elderly die bullshit yes our health care system isn’t perfect but we don’t pay a penny to see a doctor and if we have any surgeries or long stays in the hospital does not send us a bill for anything gun violence in the states is very crazy and sadly since that evil despicable trump brought out visible racism Canada is not perfect but I’m a proud Canadian I won’t even go to the states on vacation way to many crazies to all the decent Americans this does not reflect on you

You couldn't pay me to live in the US. Nobody in my family has any interest in even visiting the US.

Affordable internet is indeed a problem, same for the cell phone plans they are too expensive because 3 reasons: 1 its a huge country so you need more cell towers to provide for everyone, it has a low population density so individuals have to pay more for it. Now those first 2 are unavoidable. HOWEVER the 3rd reason is inexcusable: The companies don't like to share their infrastructure with the competition. Everytime someone new comes by they need to build their own infrastructure from scratch. So even if telecom came to Canada it would still be super expensive because they'd have to build their own network from nothing because the existing companies are too selfish to share their infrastructure.

People who earn income, including investment income while visiting the U.S. are required to pay taxes in the U.S. Seriously. If I was living off a Canadian investment portfolio or collecting a Canadian pension while living in the U.S. _even temporarily,_ I would have to file a return and pay taxes to the I.R.S. Trust me, that's *never* going to happen. Don't get me started on healthcare, gun violence, bigotry, political insecurity, et. al.

I am French Canadian and I would move to the USA if I was allowed to move there. For the weather and for the Americain mentality in general, being more free thinking. I don't really care about the canadian healthcare either because it's so low quality that I have been paying for private care most of my life anyways even though I live on a very small income. If the USA opens the door, I'm coming! ?

I am from Brazil, moved to Canada 9 years ago, now I am Canadian citizen. I was once asked by a American colleague why did I not immigrated to the USA, the answer is: it was not even in the list of possible countries. In fact it is on my top list of places not to move to. \n\nYou have a good insurance through your job? That only means you have one more reason to fear losing it or stay on a particularly bad one if you don’t have anything lined up, if you have a chronic health condition, then you are straight out hostage to your employer. Even if you do have good insurance your bills may one day go beyond the maximum and you still risk bankruptcy. \n\nIf you do go bankrupt, in any civilized country you can’t go to jail for debt, in the USA you can, the country with the highest incarcerated population in the world in absolute numbers and relative too. To add salt to the injury it is a country that did not completely make slave work illegal, it is still legal if you are not a free citizen and your prison system exploit that.\n\nSo it is a country that you can become slave because you got sick.\n\nThen there are the guns… the fact you think you are exempt of school shootings says it all, if you live in a small city it would not affect you? Are you really saying mass shootings never occur in small cities?! Of the 10 deadliest school shootings in the U.S., all but one took place in a town with fewer than 75,000 residents and the vast majority of them were in cities with fewer than 50,000 people.”\n\nIt is all part of the gun culture, the absurd of making guns easily available and viewing guns as toys, a culture were people think taking your life is a proportional response to trespassing. \n\nIt is all closely tied with all the warmongering you are ok with all the taxes you pay going to your military to kill people outside your country yet you take exception in using a fraction of that to save your own citizens lives.\n\nIt is a place which put low value in the human life and well being, favour punishment instead of prevention and rehabilitation, keeps most of its population in a constant sense of despair and helplessness…\n\nIt is no wonder the USA has the highest number of psychopaths(over than 3000 versus the second next at 166), have kids going nuts and shooting others at school.\n\nIt is not a sane culture, it is not a good place to live and if you are well informed you won’t.

Tyler, thanks for your entertaining and fun videos. My grandfather is a dual citizen but has never renewed his passport or anything and when asked to do so, he outright refuses. He says he hated living there. We live in the Vancouver area of Canada right now. My wife is finishing her registered nursing degree and we are considering moving to washington state, within an hour or so of the Canadian border on temporary work visas (TN1) for a few years. The main reason is the cost of living differences, mostly in housing but a lot of things are cheaper down there too. For example though, the costs of rent or to buy a house in the Vancouver area is insane - 1.5 million is generally a starting point. The cost of a detached house south of the border between Bellingham and Blaine starts around $400,000 ($500,000 CDN). If renting, it's crazy cheaper than here. \n\nThe area we are considering going to is very close to the canadian border, I've never heard of major violence problems in the area. Like one of the other comments you read, we're basically considering moving there to take advantage of a lower cost of living and higher salaries for a bit to try to get ahead. Living in the Vancouver area is such an absolute DRAIN on our finances that it is intolerable. If we didn't move to the US, we'd have to find another place in Canada to go to, but we do like the climate on the coast here. I'd actually just keep commuting to Canada daily to work in Canada since it's so close to the border, and writing the bar exam to be able to practice law in any US state except California, Massachusets, or New York is a pain in the backside to even be able to write it, let alone prepare for it. Just easier for me to keep working here unless we decided to try to make a permanent move somewhere further from the border.\n\nIf we decided to change our minds and apply to stay in the US in the future, there are a lot of the other considerations that other people have raised on top of my own ability to continue as a lawyer. Gun violence in the US is crazy, extreme polarized political views and increasing intolerance against diversity of race, culture, religion, (and while it doesnt affect us directly, it bothers us how LGBTQ people are increasingly targeted with backwards policies and by certain segments of the public), the health care system in canada has it's problems but it's also got it's strong points. We'll never go bankrupt because of a health care issue since we can move back to Canada IF it's ever a problem. Thankfully we are all pretty healthy so it shouldn't be much of a problem for a while at least. And we wouldn't even move there at all if her employment as a nurse doesn't offer health care and better pay than she can obtain here. \n\nOur kids will probably attend post-secondary (college/university) in Canada as dual citizens unless they get a scholarship to a top US school. The costs of post-secondary in Canada appears to be much cheaper than in the US and we have some good colleges/universities that consistently rank high globally.

I've only just started this one but I've got to comment.\nUSA if you have health insurance, you still have co-pays. Even for things like an ED visits. And you pay, either through work or on your own, monthly for that insurance.\nIn Canada there is no co-pay, full stop (at least not in my province) and no monthly fee.\nI work for a call center and the client is an American health insurance company, so I've seen the invoices that hospitals send to the insurance. I've seen the co-pays the patients have to pay with insurance covering the rest.\nI'll take the wait for none critical care, thank you. Critical issues don't have that wait time, that's what triage is for.

essentially, the only benefit is a greater income for some fields. But even if you are in one of those fields you need to weigh how important that increase in pay is versus all of the negatives. The two biggest ones would be healthcare (if you aren't making enough extra money to outweigh the extra costs, then it's pointless) and safety (which all depends on the individual and their circumstances, like if you have a family, or you would be the target of racial attacks)

Tyler... I like you. I really do. But MOST Americans that would want to move here, couldn't if they tried.\nIt's not that easy. Right now, you'd have a better chance being Mexican and willing to work in a restaurant or factory. \nAs far as moving to the USA, no way. NEVER! Not even if you pay me. Right now, only crazy alt-right Canadians and rural Prairies gun nuts want to move to the USA, more specifically Southern states like Florida and Texas. \nAlso, you were born there and all of the things that we find extreme in the US, you might just see as normal. Just like most of you think bagged milk or Ketchup chips are weird, when almost half of American women got plastic bags inserted INSIDE their milk producing organs, and you put ketchup on French fries, which are basically thick potato chips. \nEverything is relative.

Maybe the feds should have shut down the Roxham road fiasco sooner. Just saying. They poured over that border like crazy and now we think there’s a problem? Look at every nation on earth being inundated. Pretty soon it will look like the places they were running from. All part of the plan in my opinion. Destabilizing the world one war at a time. No one can afford a house even with high paying jobs. Some towns are giving these people homes when they arrive! To hell with the locals! So as glad as I am you’re calling attention to Toronto’s problem, pointing out this other BS is pretty important too. It’s no different than what the UK is going through, except their situation is even worse! One thing is certain though, and it’s happening everywhere. The people are fed up.

US is even worse. You get no free health insurance and even you pay for health insurance you pay $3000 more per year out of pocket then 20%. More after each visit. When you get your medicine you are shocked to know you pay $500 to $1000s for your medicine. Vacation starts at 2 weeks. 3 bedrooms apartment in the cities are 1million+ and above. Outside city expect to pay 500 to 700k. For Boston and Sanfrancisco is double that. You also just work for 40 hours you work typically 60 to 70 hours per week to afford anything

As a Canadian here are my views on the problems here:\n1.Government waste/spending\n2. Insane taxes, we literally pay taxes on our tax here. When you add it all up the lower tax brackets after their 15% gst pay about 45% of their income in taxes alone. Provinces like Nova Scotia are disgusting when it comes to the tax they pay. \n3. Easy immigration, we should consider immigrants based on what they can do for Canada, we don't need hundreds of thousands who can't work or refuse to work. It's a strain on the system. The immigration also artificially increases housing costs.\n4.Government corruption, it's part of why the taxes are so high. It's also part of the recent hyperinflation Canada has suffered. Just look up Trudeaus WE charity Scandall or SNC Lavalin Scandal, some even say Trudeau was getting kickbacks from the vaccine which I have yet to see evidence of but I personally believe it. \n5. Politically illiterate voters and propaganda, here in Canada the government likes to keep it's people uninformed and how they do it is through propaganda. The Liberals have every major news source in Canada in their pocket and in order for you to get news that isn't influenced by them you have to specifically search for them by name, those include Rebel News, TFI Global, and True North. Almost everything else is incredibly biased, they selectively report the news and in many cases outright lie. This causes extreme political illiteracy in it's population.\n6. Housing rules, here in Canada there are some really stupid bylaws like the main floor of your primary dwelling must be 900sqft in some areas, plus building codes prevent cheap construction of homes. You could have a tiny home on piers and it wouldn't cost much but because of our laws and codes it's impossible. You need a proper foundation, footings, building permits, ad in order to get a permit you need to submit blueprints, etc. You can't just buy a prefab building set it on piers and live in it. That'd be too easy, that'd make housing affordable and the government wouldn't like that. \n7. Woke indoctrination centers, The public education system here is all about putting in regular kids and pumping out future Liberal voters. It's a mess.\n8. You can't defend yourself, In Canada you aren't allowed to carry a weapon for self defense. If a criminal breaks into your home you are supposed to do everything you can to escape rather than defend your property. Criminals have more protection under the law than the law abiding citizens. \n9. Low wages, because of immigration wages are low compared to the USA for most jobs in most locations\n10. Thigs cost more in Canada than the USA after taking into consideration currency conversion rates, even things manufactured in Canada\n11. The cold. Nobody likes the cold for the 4-6 months of the year that the higher populated areas of the country have it. The more densely populated areas also tend to be the warmest. \n12. Fascist leaders. It's no secret Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are fascists\n13. Governmental links to the WEF, you'll own nothing and you'll be happy or so their add said. The truth is Canadians can afford less and less under Liberal leadership which is no surprise since Justin Trudeau and Chrystia are supporters of the WEF.

Aren’t we fortunate in the US to have **none** of these problems!\n\nWe have no homeless here!\n\nTake a look at SF, LA (where all “solutions” are rooted in Bolshevism; “Hi, we’re from the government and will be taking over half of your front yard for homeless yurts (Ok, tents)--true story. Take a gander at any large, medium, and even a few small cities.\n\nHave you ever heard of Detroit (once proud home of my beloved Motown music), Baltimore (complete devastation), or Chicago (my home town—don’t make me cry)?\n\nThe entire homeless situation started when mental hospitals were snake pits and certain factions demanded that people be released.\n\nSure, it sounds humanitarian but they didn't bother to consider what would happen to mentally ill patients suddenly left to their own devices on the streets.\n\nThe do gooders actually were foolish enough to believe that the seriously ill patients (schizophrenic, bipolar, borderline, and plenty of others) would take their meds on their own. It doesn't work that way for patients who are not in contact with reality.\n\nNow we add extreme drugs (crack, meth, heroine, ketamine, whatever they hand out at parties, etc) and severe cases of PTSD/PTSS. It's obscene that we have veterans on the streets.\n\nHeath care--?. Pre Obamacare it wasn’t terrible but medicine had become a CYA project. We are so litigious (side eye to John Edwards ) that doctors practice defensive medicine and carry high limit malpractice insurance (guess who pays for that?). Every decision is driven by avoiding lawsuits, not proper patient care.\n\nPost Obamacare, US health care is an unmitigated disaster at every level. We’re short on doctors, too. Many quit and students are losing interest—medicine won’t pay enough anymore to justify $500K in loans.\n\nWe could repeal every bit of Obamacare tomorrow and still not be able to fix it. The leviathan grew tentacles that released toxins into every nook and cranny of the system. Now that they have buried themselves in critical layers, it would be impossible to yank them out.\n\nI have a good PCP who is booked 6-8 weeks out. Specialists? Hah. GI, neuro, and derm? Four to six month wait post referral.\n\nI never thought I would say such a thing but I would probably swap the Serial Sexual Predator occupying the WH for your Little Lord Fauntleroy.\n\nCan Canada compete with us in corruption? Government employees seriously tried to topple a sitting president and not only were there no consequences, they were able to retire on fat pensions that we citizens work hard to provide for them.\n\nOur government is run entirely by K Street lobbyists; our “representatives” don’t even draft legislation, that’s done for them by K ST.\n\nHow about crime? Do we even need to talk about it?\n\nHousing crisis? Prices were already too high when the regime (predictably) created runaway inflation and we saw the end of affordable interest rates. Even 0.25% increase will knock out many buyers; they won’t be able to qualify.\n\nWe are seeing huge jumps; young people have resigned themselves to never being homeowners.\n\nRacism? Again, look to the US. It’s nothing even close to what the make believe media caterwauls about. If white supremacists are behind every tree, where is the evidence? Surely, in 2023 has caught a cell phone video, right? Where are the videos? Show me the proof. There is plenty of footage of BLM destroying property and injuring, even murdering innocents. If we gripe about this behavior, we are raaayyyycccciiiiissssts.\n\nNo rational adult would claim that the US is not a violent country and becoming more so. Nor can we claim to have eliminated racism. That takes time; it cannot be done by force.\n\nOur economy went from smokin hot to dumpster fire in a short span of time. Pre election, head hunters were shaking the trees to find job candidates.\n\nOur unemployment is up as are our taxes with the stomping out of the tax cuts. \n\nDespite the endless sloganeering about how the Trump tax cuts only benefited “rich” people, it’s quite the opposite.\n\nHigh earners lost their pet deductions and lower income taxpayers were quite pleasantly surprised when they did their returns. The cuts were targeted to preserve wealth for the middle and lower classes.\n\nI could go on for another 100 pages but you get the idea and I get crabby writing for free.\n\nI will leave you with the caution that it’s best if you doubt and question any data and any stats coming from our government. Those are seldom legit. If the data comes from a study, always look to see who paid for it. And how large the sample size was; how were the participants selected? We are all on our own when it comes to ferreting out info.\n\nOh Canada!\n\nYou’re welcome.

3:49 - Can capitalist please, forever, stop twisting and distorting this one. We ALL, ALL OF US, even the DIRT POOR, PAY, toward our healthcare system in TAXES, but that only means that if you are ever in the hospital due to some life threatening emergency, you are NOT, paying a damn, ARM AND A LEG, sort of thing, because it's COVERED, THROUGH, the healthcare system. IE: It EVENS OUT, OVERALL! Why is it so, damn, hard for some people to get that?!

Many countries purport themselves to be better at some thing than another country. I hear a lot of Canadians. Criticize other countries for their pollution, or CO2 emissions and oil production. Interestingly enough, Canada is in the top three largest CO2 emitted is due to the oil and gas industry Per capita than most other countries. So, if people are concerned about the environment, they should understand where Canada really stands.\n\nAdditionally, I think it could be important for you to talk about how expensive things are in Canada. Canadians pour over the border into the United States for better housing to go to Costco and grocery stores and shop for clothes and large appliances, and to avoid high taxation. They also come to the United States for better schools, better work conditions and higher pay. In fact, the joke is people immigrate to Canada as a steppingstone to eventually immigrate to the United States, which is why Canada has a big problem keeping educated talented people.\n\nSafety nets for society certainly have their importance however, socialist policies do not work the best. All they do is dumb down society by destroying competition and quality and quantity of and even accessibilities goods and services.

First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Well, it’s a work in progress. I appreciate how you’ve inspired us to speak about things that aren’t necessarily spoken about. At least not where I live and have lived in Canada. What matters is sharing our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences because they aren’t debatable. \n\nWe are in violation of Multiple Human Rights violations against Inuit , Indigenous and Métis people by the United Nations. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. It’s important that from such abundance we listen to your video, look at ourselves honestly and i feel, be the change we want to see in the world like Gandhi said.\n\nMuch love and healing from an All inclusive advocate. The USA needs to start taking care of the people here before they start taking care of anyone else! So quick to help foreigners, and get them a place, and pay for everything yet they can’t even take care of the housing issues right now for Americans. So many homeless too. It’s a struggle for a lot of us over here!

in Canada we have a serious housing crisis, you pay 50 % of your wages on rent. Also even though it's a big country, less than 10% is habitable. Mass immigration is definitely not helping.

people care less about the topics you have highlighted here. for an example LGBT rights doesn't play a huge role in day to day life of a person who is not identified as one, legalizing weed, how less religious people are etc are not even things that makes up to top 5 priorities. Canada is WAAY more expensive than USA (and most of the developed countries), its infrastructure is way subpar than of USA (or even some developing countries) and lets not even talk about the joke of a healthcare system in Canada. to see a GP people has to stay in the queue for 3 MONTHS!!!! And it worked, because people have had the collective knowledge of human history at their fingertips since the late 2000s…. It’s called the fucking internet, And maybe 5% of Americans took advantage of that and informed themselves. Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

All does they tried to help and they didn’t even want to work they want our government to pay their 5 star hotels. Hey if someone gives you a hand at least try to help by working and taking care of yourself.

And here i am, in the middle of eastern europe, studied hard, saved up every penny i could, even learned to code , found a good coding job, full remote these days, im in spain now, the beach is in my view.. i managed to do all of those things in the past decade, and still i was rejected by the us embrassy every single year, that makes a total of 11 times so far, not a word as to why, just rejected.. tbh i no longer want to move to the states.. i started begging you guys at 18, im 29 now.. i could’ve invested my talents and work in the us, while paying taxes there, instead i work for a us company in a very cheap part of the world while paying a small fraction of taxes to my home country.. keep letting those guys in and avoid us.. soon enough you wont have anyone defending you from the issue’s because the people that make good money and pay high taxes are leaving to make space for the homeless shelters and to avoid being stolen from by the mob

2 years and still waiting for a family doctor even though my wife got pregnant and she gave birth to our first child wich he didint see a doctor since leaving the hospital because no one is available, we pay all this tax and we got nothing in return crime rate is high af, streets are catastrophic and every two steps there is hole u get nothing in return from paying all this money, and racism everywhere it’s unbelievable

Australia is also very focused on connections and who you know - which school (let alone University) you went to will just about determine your career progression / ability to even get into an industry. Ive been working my ass off to pay for my documents for legality, paid taxes yearly and just comply to whatever is needed for immigration. Now im a US citizen. And this people just think they can just walked in without legal papers pisses me off. Come on people we all have different struggles in life, but we have to do the right thing! Even if youre inside the US you cannot have a decent job and no company is gonna accept you if you dont have legal papers. We cannot save people from other countries when we have our own people drowning! Our own veterans homeless! Our own people not being able to afford rent anymore! Not once have i lived off the government. I work my girl works. We’re having a kid. And things are getting really tight. Inflation is kicking our butts bills increased pay is the same. Were not married yet. We decided to try to seek some government help for at least food right. Shit is tough rn so if we can at least get some food we’ll be fine. We can’t get it technically my girl makes too much money. Why is that even a thing? You’re telling us no because we have too much money? Well we also have alot of bills. Regardless if we’re “middle class” that shit dont feel like it. Im broke af. I got 150 in the bank last me till the 15th. I deserve no help because i choose to help myself? That makes no sense.
