It's very good that this kind of progress is being made on the northern border, and I hope it continues. However, it's really too bad that it got to this point in the first place. The northern border used to be much more secure, I hope it is that way again soon.

As a Canadian..i'll say this. Our country is a bad shape right now...and the countless 'extra' people, mostly indians, are not helping. We need immigration. I am not against it. But I am against illegal migration and resource sucking. There is no legit vetting process anymore. Countless indians are being given visas that were granted on bogus claims on their documents. Fake education records...fake employement records. Then they get their visa...and don't go 'home' when it expires. Then they have what indians like to call 'anchor babies'....so that their baby has Canadian citizenship and then they hope that pity will be taken and they, the parents, won't be shipped home. They don't assimilate and totally disregard our way of life. It is appauling.

These NY officials who are aiding/housing these illegal migrants, esp criminals, should be arrested for defying federal laws and endangering the US citizens. I don't understand why they are doing that. Don't they care for their constituents? I hope those who voted for them will wake up soon.

These Canadians have so much of hatred for Americans so why are they sending people or coming here to the U.S? Where is Trudeau the nutcase? Hope & pray that the Trump administration take quick measures & send them back to Canada.

Over time, these pressures will overwhelm the sanctuaries, prompting Voters there to Change Their Minds, Policies and, hopefully, their Politicians… Second: Keep the pressure up until the 'Mid-Terms'... THEN we'll know if VOTERS have Learned Their Lessons... if not... Third: THEN strategically reduce Federal funding to the sanctuaries that haven't Learned Their Lessons… This approach won’t unjustly or inordinately punish patriots.

We allow it. They have taught human beings demonic ways of thinking and living that is so deeply entrenched in the mind that money and arrogance has replaced love. They did find an unbelievable way to justify it and we have been blindly ignorant to not see it in all the highly manipulated religious text that gave god the attributes of their own demonic character. Fear, greed and lack are the great contribution these dark shadows make to the majority of those who live on earth. All lives born on earth have need of its resources and as long as even one man is given special privileges to resources and power in the way of personal wealth, we will not have peace or prosperity in this world. Western Canadian here. Our current liberal government opened immigration to bizarre levels over the last several years I believe to get more liberal voters. Our country is in a bad way and don’t blame Trump for clamping down. Trudeau and now Carney are quite happy to keep the WEF plan going. Hopefully we get a common sense conservative government in Canada soon !

@CashJordan Actually the REAL REASON the progressive leaders are against deportations is THE CENSUS. *The more people you have counted, the more FEDERAL MONEY you get.* Trump called it in his first term. He wanted only US citizens counted. But Congress didn't even want to take it up. The next CENSUS is in 2030. Hopefully Congress will change it by then.

Been saying that the democrats don't care about our country or the American people. They only care about money and power to rule over the American people. They see illegals as future voters for them. To be fair, most of those migrants went into Canada through the US border in the first place. I do find it odd that they'd be now flooding into the US. What a stupid time for them to do it. I hope Trump truly deports them so they don't go into either country and only back to their homeland.
