I have 3 boys here in Brampton Ontario. It’s near impossible to get a job around here if you are not Indian. I been living in the same house for 30 plus years and I’m the only owner left. I was born and raised in brampton. I am now 41 years old. When i was 20 i remember when the indians started to come into brampton they were taking our jobs because they would work for minium wage without benefits. Then they stated to buy the houses and bring in their families they had like 10 to 20 people living in one house, so only needing to work for minium wage they were able to purchase the houses faster. Then the stores started opening up and theis is when i left. Brampton was the best place in ontario to live (close to everything, small enough to feel like a town but yet big enough that it had everything available) \nNow its a shit hole

I was born in Canada and my family was from the Caribbean and were brown. Learned Canadian history from our first PM John a McDonald, Wilfred Laurier, learned French. We were hoping Quebec did not separate from Canada. Our whole family is loyal to one country and that is Canada only. The small minority of Indians have destroyed what made us Canada. Playing Punjabi music downtown at Yonge Dundas that never happened. These punjabis are deliberately travelling from Brampton to dance at Yonge Dundas to shove their music in our face. Even my Indian friends who were born here want all Indian immigrants gone they are pissed off. Deport the low skill Indian immigrants and the ones who defrauded the system, the slumlords who exchange rent for sex and the human trafficking.

Nothing diverse when most of the people come from Punjab and all\nMove to Brampton . Most can’t buys. House in Vancouver so there last resort is Toronto and they buy a house in Brampton there are shady realtors that give you a mortgage and will lie for you in the mortgage application if you pay them under the table . That’s how some are able to even buy a house . How is it a house that a town house 3 bedroom 3 washroom is $875,999 and someone working at a gas station and the other person working at a factory can afford the down payment for that house people are lieing about there income that’s how and over inflated the houses prices

There are other places you know they are international students you are supposed to come to study then. Leave . Most people that come to study in Canada from different countries they leave after graduation. You can even check the m number of people from different countries that leave and most do only people from\nIndia so leave . Canada is not all that great it’s good most of the time high taxes . . They abused the food bank system . We need less immigration that’s what this is basically a back door into the country most of them don’t really study anything worth studying. Canada has a shortage of doctors and most don’t even study MD?‍♀️. These noun credited colleges make so much money from these students. It’s a big fat business .

Brampton got big Punjabi Christian population also. They are good people. I heard that there are close to 100,000 people attending Sunday church service. Indian community in Canada has a big Christian population also especially from the southern province of Kerala. They are mostly in Mississauga, Scarborough and London, Ontario. There is a Roman Catholic diocese in Mississauga for Catholics from India. And Punjabi Christians are mostly Protestant believers.

It’s the greed of old settlers ( immigrants who moved in 20+ years ago) that is ruining Brampton. They are the ones who are targeting/ exploiting new immigrants. And new immigrants are doing further wrong things to recover their losses.

That Census data makes absolutely no sense. The majority of Brampton is Indian Punjabi Sikhs. None of these are mutually exclusive. \nIndian and Pakistani are nationalities. Punjabi is an ethno-linguistic group. Sikh and Hindu are religions.

I would love to chat with this guy about that. I spent most of my life in Brampton and could share with him a lot more in-depth thoughts about this than I can comment here.
